This article introduces the design of split range control and fuzzy logic control for temperature control of the MISO (multiple input single output) water tank scheme. A multiple input single output (MISO) system is considered for the proposed work as most of the practical systems comprise of numerous MISO system. Investigations are conducted on the impact of control parameters, system dynamics and process disturbances. From the simulation outcomes, it is clearly inferred that the fuzzy logic controller outperformed split range control over all parameters.

Beragamnya metode yang ditawarkan oleh fuzzy logic kontroller membuat sebagaian orang meneliti mengenai perbedaan metode inferensi yang digunakan oleh fuzzy logic controller. Sejauh ini terdapat tiga metode fuzzy logic kontroller yang telah dikembangkan yaitu Mamdani, Sugono dan Sukamoto. Pada jurnal ini penggunaan fuzzy logic kontroller akan dievaluasi dengan menggunakan motor dc penguat terpisah sebagai beban untuk melakukan pengaturan kecepatan motor dc. Pada paper ini tujuan utamanya adalah dapat mengendalikan kecepatan dari motor DC Penguatan Terpisah dengan mengatur tegangan jangkar dari motor tersebut. DC motor merupakan salah satu jenis motor memiliki banyak aplikasi dan memiliki kemudahan untuk mengatur kecepatan pada motor tersebut. Logika fuzzy yang digunakan pada studi ini adalah inferensi sugeno dimana dengan konfigurasi Multiple Input Single Output (MiSo). Dimana input berupa error dan perubahan error dan output berupa duty cycle dikarenakan yang dikendalikan oleh logika fuzzy adalah Boost Converter selaku controlled voltage source. Target pada jurnal ini adalah dari kecilnya nilai steady – state error dan minimnya osilasi sehingga mampu membuat sistem lebih stabil. Pada studi ini, Hasil pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Simulink by Matlab dengan Hasil pengujian berupa error rata rata sebesar 5.36%.

This paper present the performance of Fuzzy logic controller in maintain level of water in water tank system. The mathematical modelling was developed to get the initial idea of the system performance. Later, the prototype of water tank system were constructed and tested to get the real time results. The Takagi-Sugeno “on” and “off” interference technique method was implemented due to the control limitation of the pump motor that being used in the experimental setup. The fuzzy logic controller was realized by embedded the algorithm in microcontroller of the water tank system. The experimental results show acceptable level of water within the range of 18cm to 20.5cm and settling time 59 seconds with 20 cm set point.

The fuzzy logic controller (FLC) makes it possible to control a system using IF-THEN rules through human intellect. It tackles parameter uncertainty using imprecise reasoning. The fuzzy logic controller is usually tuned using offline methods. An online evolving adaptation of fuzzy controller design is a recent trend in fuzzy rule-based systems. The robust evolving cloud-based controller (RECCo) is one such controller implemented for single-input-single-output (SISO) systems. The membership functions and consequent rules are automatically updated in real time based on the input data. In this paper, a decentralized robust evolving cloud-based controller (DRECCo) is proposed for two-input-two-output (TITO) systems. It consists of two independent loops with RECCos having a nonparametric premise facet and an adaptive proportional-integral-derivative (PID) model consequent facet. The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated for the benchmark interacting two-tank process (ITTP) and quadruple-tank process (QTP) by simulation and in real time. The results indicate that with the information of loop pairing and the forward-acting/reverse-acting nature of the process, the proposed controller can adapt itself to ensure set-point tracking and disturbance rejection.

This paper presents liquid level control system model and analysis of dynamic characteristics. The system consists of scalar controlled induction motor drive, fuzzy logic controller, water tank and centrifugal pump. Simulink models of water tank, pump and controller are presented. The simulation of the system shows that the use of fuzzy logic controller reduces valve opening time and reservoir filling time. Nagrinėjamas skysčio lygio valdymo sistemos imitacinių modelių sudarymas, analizuojamos dinaminės charakteristikos. Valdymo sistema sudaryta iš skaliariniu būdu valdomos dažninės elektros pavaros su neraiškiosios logikos reguliatoriumi, vandens rezervuaro ir išcentrinio siurblio. Sudaryti rezervuaro, siurblio ir reguliatoriaus Simulink modeliai. Atlikus imitacijas gauta nedimensinė siurblio charakteristika, apibūdinanti siurblio veikimą, esant bet kokiam sukimosi greičiui. Nustatyta, kad sistemoje su neraiškiosios logikos reguliatoriumi vožtuvas yra atidaromas greičiau nei sistemoje su proporcinguoju integraliniu (PI) reguliatoriumi, ir todėl sumažinama rezervuaro pripildymo trukmė.

In this research paper, the impact of water pH on detergent was measured by constructing a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) based on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Numbers (IFNs) by incorporating three linguistic inputs and one output as taken by Saeed. M. et al. [1]. The inference process was carried out using MATLAB fuzzy logic toolbox and the results were compared with FLC based on fuzzy numbers. The objective of the study was the comparison of FLC based on intuitionistic and fuzzy numbers. The results showed that FLC based on IFNs is approximately the same but has more precise values. So, IFNs based FLC can be used in the Instinctive Laundry System.
