This article explores which antecedents explain intentions to adopt a mobile coaching app. To that end, this study describes a coaching service designed to guide/encourage students throughout their studies in order to validate a new model of planned behavior based on the Technology Acceptance Model and the Goal-Directed Behavioral theory. The methodology included a short qualitative study and an online survey to examine the theoretical model which is based on scales tested in previous studies. The convenience sample is composed of students (Bachelor and Master/MBA) with the results analyzed using structural equation modelling to test the proposed model's causal structure. The results show different adoption patterns by gender and type of school.

This study examines a sample (N=239) of pre-service teachers’ self-reported intention to use technology. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was used as a research framework in which findings contribute to technology acceptance research by demonstrating the suitability of the TAM to explain the intention to use technology among educational users. Using the structural equation modelling for data analysis, a good fit was found for both the measurement and structural models. Overall, the results of this study offer evidence that the TAM is effective in predicting pre-service teachers’ intention to use technology. This paper concludes with a discussion of the limitations and recommendations for further study.

This study investigates the factors affecting the usage behavior and intention towards online purchasing platforms in purchasing agriculture and fisheries products online based on the technology acceptance model. External factors adapted from current literature were integrated with the model to understand the consumer intention and behavior towards online purchasing. An online survey with 318 respondents was used to test the hypotheses of the theoretical model using partial least squares component-based structural equation modeling. Results show that trust is a significant predictor of usage behavior. Furthermore, the factors visibility, perceived risk, perceived value, and enjoyment have directly or indirectly influenced intention and usage behavior through trust, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness. The researcher considers this work to have contributed essential inputs to other researchers interested in studying the adoption of online purchasing in fisheries and agriculture products.

Sebuah organisasi pasti memiliki tiga hal, yaitu tempat, pekerja, dan sebuah operasi ataupun sistem yang dapat membantu pekerjaan. Pada awalnya sebuah organisasi masih mengerjakan segala sesuatu secara manual sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah teknologi agar dalam proses mengumpulkan informasi, pengambilan keputusan, dan menjalankan pekerjaan dapat berjalan dengan baik. Kebutuhan pekerja dalam organisasi seperti penggajian dan transaksi pembayaran dalam kehidupan pribadi dengan adanya teknologi menjadi tidak perlu untuk mengantri panjang saat ingin membayar sesuatu atau menunggu lama untuk menerima upah gaji. Teknologi yang sangat dibutuhkan saat ini disebut mobile banking. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan mobile banking terhadap transaksi pembayaran pada pendeta dan pekerja Konferens DKI Jakarta dengan menggunakan metode Extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Dalam memperoleh hasil menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) menggunakan program SPSS dan AMOS versi 22. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konstruk model TAM berhubungan secara signifikan dan pada bagian lain ada yang tidak mempunyai pengaruh sehingga pengguna mobile banking dapat diharapkan untuk lebih teliti dalam menggunakan mobile banking agar mempermudah segala aktivitas transaksi pembayaran. Kata kunci— Pembayaran, Transaksi, Mobile Banking, Technology Acceptance Model (TAM)

The prime objective of this study is to validate the extended technology acceptance model (ETAM) by incorporating two intrinsic motivation attributes, namely, computer self-efficacy and satisfaction into the original TAM to compare its viability testing on their satisfaction of the wireless internet service at a university. Besides, it evaluates gender invariant of the causal structure of this extended TAM. A total of 285 students from five major faculties (Education, Human Sciences, Engineering, ICT and Economics) were taken as respondents. The questionnaire’s reliability and validity were established through a RASCH analysis. The results as analyzed by Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) indicate that students’ perceived ease of use had a statistically significant effect on their satisfaction. The study revealed that gender did not exert any influence as a moderating variable towards students’ satisfaction in using Wireless Internet. The findings contributed to a better understanding of the TAM and technology satisfaction among students.

Studentsite merupakan salah satu teknologi layanan informasi di lingkungan Universitas Gunadarma berbasis online, penyampaian informasi menggunakan aplikasi berbasis web akan meningatkan kualitas layanan dan informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor yang berpengaruh dalam persepsi kegunaan dan persepsi kemudahan sistem terhadap kondisi nyata sistem dan pengaruh persepsi kegunaan sistem terhadap kondisi nyata sistem pada layanan informasi mahasiswa dengan menggunakan kerangka Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) sebagai konseptual model dan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) sebagai analisis data. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Gunadarma aktif 2020, sampel diambil secara acak sebanyak 50 orang dari seluruh mahasiswa Gunadarma yang aktif, data diolah menggunakan SEM dari paket software statistik AMOS versi 21.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa studentsite memberikan kemudahan mahasiswa dalam mengakses informasi khususnya dalam kegiatan akademik, hal ini mendorong mereka menggunakan studentsite dengan frekuensi yang tinggi dalam melakukan pekerjaanya sehingga dapat meningkatkan kinerjanya sebagai mahasiswa.

There are many mobile and desktop apps available to use for free. Starting from games to productivity apps. One type of productivity apps is cloud file hosting services such as Dropbox and Google Drive. This study aims to determine how Dropbox and Google Drive are accepted to the users. Not just want to get the factors of acceptance, but to get the root of the acceptance. By using the methodology of technology acceptance model and relying on statistical calculations of structural equation modeling software LISREL, the level of acceptance of these two popular applications will be known. PurposeThe popularity of e-commerce has increased significantly over recent years. However, this growth is not shared by all European Union states. One reason for this discrepancy is culture which impacts on e-commerce acceptance. The purpose of this paper is to reveal the effect of acculturation process on e-commerce acceptance.Design/methodology/approachStructural equation modelling is employed to test three research models: technology acceptance model, theory of planned behaviour model and motivational model.FindingsThe findings show that attitudes towards e-commerce change in relation to the perception of control and the influence of subjective norms, which impact intentions to use e-commerce before movement to a host country’s culture. However, its effect diminishes after the exposure to the influence of a host culture.Originality/valueThis is the first study to demonstrate the existence of the effect of acculturation process on mingling and migrating consumers and their changing attitudes towards e-commerce acceptance.

The outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020 has posed several challenges to the sporting industry, caused by the change in behavior of sporting fans from purchasing event tickets to watching live broadcasts of events on the Internet. This study aims to gain a deeper understanding of fan behavior in this “new normal”. It adopts a technology acceptance model (TAM) to explore the effects of social presence (SP) in the context of online viewing of professional sports. For this purpose, the authors conducted an online survey of viewers who watched NBA sports events on the Amazon Mechanical Turk website using the Together Mode feature of Microsoft Teams. We collected 209 valid questionnaires and performed a partial least squares structural equation modeling analysis. The results showed that the SP-TAM structural model has adequate predictive relevance, and SP has a statistically significant positive relationship with both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. The model was thus validated, contributing to the existing body of knowledge on emerging technologies such as the creation of a virtual audience in sports. The study’s findings suggest that technology developers should focus on the effects of SP and emphasize practical functions to increase the use intention of sporting fans. Furthermore, professional sporting leagues should prioritize the use of virtual fan technology to optimize the viewing experience of their fans.

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk untuk menganalisa pengaruh penerapan e-learning terhadap keaktifan mahasiswa pada kegiatan pembelajaran di Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Pagar Alam sehingga menjadi masukan dalam hal pengembangannya ke depan menggunakan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Variabel-Variabel yang digunakan ada 5 (lima) variabel yaitu Kegunaan persepsian (perceived usefulness), Sikap terhadap menggunakan teknologi (Attidute towards using technology, Minat perilaku menggunakan teknologi (Behavioral Intention to USe) kemudahan penggunaan persepsian (perceived ease of use)19,dan Penggunaan Teknologi Sesungguhnya (Actual Techology Use). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dari penyebaran kuesioner pada 150 mahasiswa pengguna e-learning di Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Pagar Alam. Metode analisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS.

Implementasi SIM RS di Indonesia diatur dalam Permenkes No.1171 tahun 2011 dan UU No.14 tahun 2008. Salah satu faktor penting dalam kesuksesan implementasi SIM RS adalah kesiapan pengguna. RSUD Kajen Kabupaten Pekalongan telah mengimplementasikan SIM RS sejak tahun 2015, namun implementasi SIM RSUD Kajen belum berjalan optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meganalisis SIM RSUD Kajen Kabupaten Pekalongan dengan metode Technology Acceptance Model (TAM).Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Responden penelitian adalah 44 staff RSUD Kajen yang menggunakan SIM RSUD Kajen sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditentukan yang dipilih dengan metode sensus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan software smartPLS.Hasil penelitian implementasi SIM RSUD Kajen menunjukkan norma subjektif berpengaruh langsung dan signifikan terhadap niat menggunakan SIM RSUD Kajen (T=3,275), kepercayaan diri responden berpengaruh secara langsung dan signifikan terhadap persepsi kemudahan penggunaan SIM RSUD Kajen (T=7,857), persepsi responden terkait kemudahan penggunaan SIM RSUD Kajen berpengaruh secara langsung dan signifikan terhadap persepsi responden terkait manfaat SIM RSUD Kajen (T=3,227) dan niat menggunakan SIM RSUD Kajen (T=2,034). Rekomendasi untuk perbaikan SIM RSUD Kajen adalah pembuatan kebijakan penggunaan SIM RS, peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampial staff serta monitoring dan evaluasi berkala penggunaan SIM RS.
