In this paper, a singing evaluation approach based on pitch and rhythm accuracy is proposed. A comparative study was first carried out between speech and singing voice, which demonstrated the characteristic of consonant and vowel in singing voice. A phoneme boundary detector was adopted to perform note segmentation in a high time resolution by using characteristics of consonant and vowel. As for singing skill evaluation, relative pitch interval between reference score and actual sung pitch was adopted to estimate pitch deviation while difference between absolute position and expected position of beats served as rhythm consistency measure. Experiments on a solfege corpus demonstrated a noticeable improvement in the performance of onset detection. A detailed subjective evaluation showed great consistency between the proposed evaluation approach and experts’ judgment.

Product evaluation is very important for product improvement and development, and subjective product evaluation determines customer’s evaluation of products to some extent, so the purpose of this study is to establish a reasonable subjective product evaluation system. In this study, we comprehensively determine the evaluation indexes based on Kansei engineering (KE), establish an overall product evaluation system by using analytic hierarchy process (AHP), and establish the subjective product evaluation system by classifying the evaluation indexes in the overall product evaluation system into “objective evaluation index” and “subjective evaluation index”, removing the objective evaluation indexes, and retaining the subjective evaluation indexes. Additionally, we select some modern chairs as experimental samples to verify the reliability and validity of this subjective product evaluation system by means of questionnaires. The experimental results show that, in this subjective product evaluation system, the subjective evaluation of the product is positively correlated with the “favorite” level of the product in comprehensive evaluation, and negatively correlated with the “least favorite” level of the product in comprehensive evaluation, indicating that this subjective product evaluation system realizes a symmetry between subjective product evaluation and comprehensive product evaluation. Therefore, it can be concluded that this subjective product evaluation system based on KE and AHP proposed in this study has reliability and validity, and can be used for product evaluation to judge the popularity of products and enhance the competitiveness of products.

Based on the actual production data, this paper selected some evaluation parameters and established reasonable evaluation criterion for the horizontal well development effect in the ultra low-abundance and thin zone reservoir by using statistical analysis method,reservoir engineering analysis process and reservoir numerical simulation technology .In addition, a development effect evaluation system specially for the horizontal well development effect in the ultra low-abundance and thin layer reservoir was build up with the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation approach. Finally, the evaluation system were applied in several low-abundance and thin reservoir blocks. It was shown that the evaluation system can scientifically estimate the development effect of this kind of reservoir and has a practical application value.

In order to ensure the quality of practical implementation requires accurate data-based information support, a gradual evaluation system is needed to help make the right decisions in every action throughout the program. The evaluation approach used is the CIPP (context, input, process, and product). With the extension of information technology, human resource management has experienced fundamental changes. One of the most important issues in human resource management is performance evaluation. Unlike number of studies in employee performance evaluation, there is a lack for systematic and quantitative approaches. Issues such as incomplete information, subjective and qualitative metrics, and also the difficulty of evaluating the performance are the main problems of this field. Hence, the current study exploits the capabilities of information systems and presents an approach for quantitative and automatic evaluation of employee performance in office automation systems. The results reveal the automatic employee performance evaluation system is a discrete dimension for employee performance evaluation systems.

Internet banking atau mobile banking adalah salah satu bentuk aplikasi yang berbasis internet yang dapat digunakan sebagai pintu gerbang menuju dunia perbankan masa depan. Dalam memberikan layanan, pihak bank tidak ingin mengecewakan nasabahnya karena aplikasi internet banking yang sulit digunakan sehingga mengakibatkan nasabah gagal dalam mencari informasi atau gagal melakukan aktivitas perbankan. Melihat pentingnya usabilitas sebuah aplikasi, maka dilakukan penelitian terhadap aplikasi Mandiri Online untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari aplikasi tersebut, mengidentifikasi permasalahan usabilitas, serta menyusun rekomendasi perbaikan. Aplikasi tersebut diuji menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) dan pendekatan heuristic evaluation dengan responden sebanyak 40 orang untuk metode SUS dan 5 evaluator dengan kriteria single-expert untuk pendekatan heuristic evaluation. Hasil pengujian aplikasi Mandiri Online dengan instrumen SUS adalah sebesar 79,6 yang berarti aplikasi Mandiri Online dinyatakan dapat diterima (acceptable), termasuk dalam grade B dengan rating good. Dari penelitian ini juga diketahui bahwa terdapat beberapa permasalahan usabilitas mayor yang harus segera diperbaiki dan harus diberi prioritas tinggi. Dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut membutuhkan beberapa usaha, seperti  menambahkan fitur search untuk mencari nama bank, membuat pengelompokkan instansi pada menu multipayment, membuat atau menambahkan panduan penggunaan atau flowchart penggunaan Mandiri Online, dan menambahkan fitur help pada Mandiri Online. Abstract[Title: Usability Analysis of Mandiri Online Apllication] Internet banking or mobile banking is a form of internet-based application that can be used as a gateway to the future of banking. In providing services, banks won’t to let down their customers because of internet banking applications are difficult to use, resulting in failure to find information or fail to conduct banking activities. Seeing the importance of application usability, a study of Mandiri Online application was conducted to find out the appropriatness of the application, identify usability issues, and construct recommendations for application improvement. This application was tested using the System Usability Scale (SUS) and heuristic evaluation approach with 40 respondents for the SUS and 5 evaluators with single-expert criteria for the heuristic evaluation. The result of testing the Mandiri Online application with the SUS instrument amounted to 79,6 which means this application was declared acceptable, included in grade B, and with a good rating. From this study it is also known that there are some major usability problems that must be corrected immediately and must be given high priority. In solving these problems requires several efforts, such as adding search feature to search the bank’s name, creating agency groups on multipayment menu, creating or adding usage guidelines or flowcharts for using Mandiri Online, and adding help feature to Mandiri Online.Keywords: Heuristic Evaluation; System Usability Scale; Usability

Abstract. The wheelchair comfort is a subjective evaluation of users, which is influenced by wheelchair itself, environmental factors and physiological factors. It is difficult to make evaluation about wheelchair comfort by a general approach. In this essay, Analytic Hierarchy Process, based on a scientific decision-making idea which combines qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis, was used to establish the evaluation system about wheelchair comfort indicator, and the weight of each indicator was determined. For this reason, the evaluation of wheelchair comfort is more scientific and reasonable.

For investigating effect of soft finish on the handle of polyester fabric, the study shows physical properties on polyester fabric before and after finishing, then making some comparison base on the test results. KES-F (Kawabata Evaluation System for Fabric) system was used in the test. The study shows that the fabric samples exhibit noticeable improvement on wearable property after soft finish.

Abstract In the field of machine vision, image edge detection is an important technology, which can make necessary preparation for the later image processing. Consequently, accurate evaluation of the edge detection effect of the processed image is a more critical technology. In this paper, the new three criteria are proposed, which is based on Canny's three criteria for edge detection. Through theoretical analysis, three quantitative basic evaluation indexes are given to the new three criteria, namely SSIM index of image reconstruction similarity, BIdx index of edge reliability and CIdx index of edge continuity. Additionally, noise evaluation criteria is also considered. Then the four basic evaluation indexes are fused to get the objective evaluation index EIdx of image edge detection.Finally, the experimental data show that the accuracy of the method is better than that of the subjective evaluation system.
