Multilevel image edge repair results directly affect the follow-up image quality evaluation and recognition. Current edge detection algorithms have the problem of unclear edge detection. In order to detect more accurate edge contour information, a multilevel image edge detection algorithm based on visual perception is proposed. Firstly, the digital image is processed by double filtering and fuzzy threshold segmentation; Through the analysis of the contour features of the moving image, the threshold of the moving image features is set, and the latest membership function is obtained to complete the multithreshold optimization. Adaptive smoothing is used to process the contour of the object in the moving image, and the geometric center values of the two adjacent contour points within the contour range are calculated. According to the calculation results, the curvature angle is further calculated, and the curvature symbol is obtained. According to the curvature symbol, the contour features of the moving image are detected. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively and accurately detect the edge contour of the image and shorten the reconstruction time, and the detection image resolution is high.

The existing optimization methods have the problem of image edge blur, which leads to a high degree of shadow residue. In order to address this problem, reduce the shadow residual degree, this paper designs a 3D video image processing effect optimization method supported by virtual reality technology. Coding was used to eliminate redundant data in video and eliminate image noise using median filtering. The virtual reality technology detects the image edge and determines the motion offset between the image frames. According to the motion parameters of the camera carrier obtained from the motion estimation, the feature point matching algorithm constructs the video image motion model, and uses the camera calibration technology to set the processing effect optimization mode. It is optimized by perspective projection transformation. Experimental results: the average shadow residual degree of the optimization method and the two existing optimization methods are 3.108%, 6.167% and 6.396% respectively, which proves that the optimization method combined with virtual reality technology has higher practical application value.

Current image recognition methods cannot combine the transmission of image data with the interaction of image features, so the steps of image recognition are too independent, and the traditional methods take longer time and cannot complete the image denoising. Therefore, a recognition method of sports training action image based on software defined network (SDN) architecture is proposed. The SDN architecture is used to integrate the image data transmission and interactive process and to optimize the image processing centralization. The network architecture is composed of application layer, control layer, and infrastructure layer. Based on this, the dimension of image sample set is reduced, and the edge detection operator in any direction is constructed. The image edge filter is realized by calculating the response and threshold of image edge by using lag threshold and nonmaximum suppression (NMS). The Hough transform algorithm is improved to optimize the detection range. Extracting the neighborhood feature of sports training action, the recognition of sports training action image based on SDN architecture is completed. Simulation results show that the proposed method takes less time and the image denoising effect is better. In addition, the F1 test results of the proposed method are higher than those of the literature, and the convergence is better. Therefore, the performance of the proposed method is better.

Edge detection consists of a set of mathematical methods which identifies the points in a digital image where image brightness changes sharply. In the traditional edge detection methods such as the first-order derivative filters, it is easy to lose image information details and the second-order derivative filters are more sensitive to noise. To overcome these problems, the methods based on the fractional differential-order filters have been proposed in the literature. This paper presents the construction and implementation of the Prewitt fractional differential filter in the Asumu definition sense for SARS-COV2 image edge detection. The experiments show that these filters can avoid noise and detect rich edge details. The experimental comparison show that the proposed method outperforms some edge detection methods. In the next paper, we are planning to improve and combine the proposed filters with artificial intelligence algorithm in order to program a training system for SARS-COV2 image classification with the aim of having a supplemental medical diagnostic.

Cellular Nonlinear Networks (CNN) are a concept introduced in 1988 by Leon Chua and Lin Yang as a bio-inspired architecture capable of massively parallel computation. Since then, CNN have been enhanced by incorporating designs that incorporate memristors to profit from their processing and memory capabilities. In addition, Stochastic Computing (SC) can be used to optimize the quantity of required processing elements; thus it provides a lightweight approximate computing framework, quite accurate and effective, however. In this work, we propose utilization of SC in designing and implementing a memristor-based CNN. As a proof of the proposed concept, an example of application is presented. This application combines Matlab and a FPGA in order to create the CNN. The implemented CNN was then used to perform three different real-time applications on a 512 × 512 gray-scale and a 768 × 512 color image: storage of the image, edge detection, and image sharpening. It has to be pointed out that the same CNN was used for the three different tasks, with the sole change of some programmable parameters. Results show an excellent capability with significant accompanying advantages, such as the low number of needed elements further allowing for a low cost FPGA-based system implementation, something confirming the system’s capacity for real time operation.

Digital image processing technology is widely used in production and life, and digital images play a pivotal role in the ever-changing technological development. Noise can affect the expression of image information. The edge is the reflection of the main structure and contour of the image, and it is also the direct interpretation of image understanding and the basis for further segmentation and recognition. Therefore, suppressing noise and improving the accuracy of edge detection are important aspects of image processing. To address these issues, this paper presents a new detection algorithm combined with information fusion based on the existing image edge detection techniques, and the algorithm is studied from two aspects of fuzzy radial basis fusion discrimination, in terms of preprocessing algorithm, comparing the denoising effect of mean and median filters with different template sizes on paper images with added noise, and selecting the improved median filter denoising, comparing different operator edge detection. The effect of image edge detection contour is finally selected as the 3 ∗ 3 Sobel operator for edge detection; the binarized image edge detection contour information is found as the minimum outer rectangle and labeled, and then, the original paper image is scanned line by line to segment the target image edge region. The image edge detection algorithm based on fuzzy radial basis fuser can not only speed up the image preprocessing, meet the real-time detection, and reduce the amount of data processed by the upper computer but also can accurately identify five image edge problems including folds and cracks, which has good application prospects.

Nowadays, reliable medical diagnostics from computed tomography (CT) and X-rays can be obtained by using a large number of image edge detection methods. One technique with a high potential to improve the edge detection of images is ant colony optimization (ACO). In order to increase both the quality and the stability of image edge detection, a vector called pheromone sensitivity level, PSL, was used within ACO. Each ant in the algorithm has one assigned element from PSL, representing the ant’s sensibility to the artificial pheromone. A matrix of artificial pheromone with the edge information of the image is built during the process. Demi-contractions in terms of the mathematical admissible perturbation are also used in order to obtain feasible results. In order to enhance the edge results, post-processing with the DeNoise convolutional neural network (DnCNN) was performed. When compared with Canny edge detection and similar techniques, the sensitive ACO model was found to obtain overall better results for the tested medical images; it outperformed the Canny edge detector by 37.76%.
