In order to reduce vibration and noise of the compressor used in small and medium-sized refrigeration unit, this paper designs different vibration isolating systems and carries out experiment of isolation performance evaluation based on LMS Test. Lab Signature software. The comparison results of four different vibration isolating systems show that the peak values of vibration velocity response in each system mainly appear at 25Hz, 50Hz, 75Hz and 100Hz, and the maximum velocity does not exceed 22mm/s which is less than the maximum allowed by the national standard[1]. And the Vibration Level Difference (VLD) is taken as evaluation criteria for isolating vibration, that of single-layer vibration isolating system is within 10-20dB, and that of double-layer vibration isolating system is within 20-35dB. Furthermore with the increase of middle-mass, the VLD has a clear upward trend.

In order to reduce vibration and noise of the compressor used in small and medium-sized refrigeration unit, this paper designs different vibration isolating systems and carries out experimental modal analysis based on LMS Test. Lab Impact Testing software. The comparison results of modal parameters of four different vibration isolating systems show that the natural frequency of single-layer vibration isolating system is higher than that of non-isolation system and effectively avoids the second order resonance frequency. Furthermore the natural frequency of double-layer vibration isolating system has reduced due to the additional middle-mass. And the system's natural frequency decreases obviously with the increase of middle-mass which is far from resonance frequency and significantly improve the effect of vibration isolating system.

The exergoeconomic analysis is carried out on enhanced heat transfer surfaces at low temperature. A new criterion for evaluating the performance of enhanced heat transfer surfaces at low temperature is proposed. It can be applied to various augmentation techniques and generalizes the performance evaluation criteria obtained by means of the first and second law analysis. The validity of the new performance evaluation criterion is illustrated by the analysis of heat transfer characteristics at low temperature and assessment of the heat transfer cost of two types of enhanced heat transfer surfaces.

Purpose – Explains why performance evaluation designed for manufacturers is inappropriate for information technology organizations. Design/methodology/approach – Underlines the distinctiveness of the information technology workforce and provides the basis for an effective performance- evaluation system designed for these workers. Findings – Highlights the roles of consensus and transparency in setting and modifying evaluation criteria. Practical implications – Urges the need for a fair and open rewards and recognition system to run in parallel with reformed performance evaluation. Social implications – Provides a way of updating performance evaluation systems to take account of the move from manufacturing to information technology-based jobs in many developed and developing societies. Originality/value – Reveals how best to recognize, reward and assess the performance of information technology workers.

Consensus on standards for evaluating models and theories is an integral part of every science. Nonetheless, in psychology, relatively little focus has been placed on defining reliable communal metrics to assess model performance. Evaluation practices are often idiosyncratic and are affected by a number of shortcomings (e.g., failure to assess models’ ability to generalize to unseen data) that make it difficult to discriminate between good and bad models. Drawing inspiration from fields such as machine learning and statistical genetics, we argue in favor of introducing common benchmarks as a means of overcoming the lack of reliable model evaluation criteria currently observed in psychology. We discuss a number of principles benchmarks should satisfy to achieve maximal utility, identify concrete steps the community could take to promote the development of such benchmarks, and address a number of potential pitfalls and concerns that may arise in the course of implementation. We argue that reaching consensus on common evaluation benchmarks will foster cumulative progress in psychology and encourage researchers to place heavier emphasis on the practical utility of scientific models.

Selanjutnya metode Technique For Orders Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) digunakan untuk perankingan supplier. Berdasarkan pembobotan subkriteria dengan menggunakan ANP, subkriteria yang paling besar pengaruhnya dalam evaluasi supplier adalah harga penawaran sebesar 0,17227. Selanjutnya, penentuan prioritas supplier dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode TOPSIS dan didapatkan urutan supplier untuk bahan baku kertas CD roll adalah supplier A, B, C, dan D, sedangkan untuk bahan baku tinta web adalah supplier L, N, O, dan M.   ABSTRACT One of the factors that influence the company performance is the presence of suppliers which supplies raw materials. PT Masscom Graphy Semarang is a printing company which has cooperated with several suppliers to ensure continuity of production. Therefore,  supplier performance evaluation conducted by the company is very important to obtain a reliable supplier in the supply of raw materials. The purpose of this research was to identify the supplier performance evaluation criteria and priorities of suppliers in accordance with the company's needs, and determined the priority order of the main raw material supplier for newspaper print. There was 17 sub-criteria used in evaluating the performance of suppliers and prioritization of suppliers. Analytical Network Process (ANP) can be used as an alternative to solve a problem that had many interrelated sub-criteria or influence in decision making. Furthermore, the method Technique For Orders Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) was used for ranking suppliers. Based on the weighted sub-criteria by using ANP, the most influence subcriteria in determining the priority of suppliers offering price of 0.17227. Furthermore, to the supplier prioritization was done by using the TOPSIS method and obtained the order suppliers for raw materials paper roll was a supplier A, B, C, and D, while the raw material for the ink web was a supplier of L, N, O and M.
