In order to study the seismic behavior of steel frame structure, based on the verification of the finite element program, two different end-plate connections under monotonic load and cyclic load are analysed with the finite-element software ANSYS, considering geometry, material and status nonlinearity. Some parameters such as height of endplate, array of blot, diameter of blot are analysed to study their effects on the seismic behavior of beam-to-column end-plate connection, the bearing capacity of the joint of the framework, the initial rotation stiffness, the ultimate turning power, power-wasting capacity and ductility. The results show that reasonable connection have better power-wasting capacity and ductility , so it can be applicated in multiple-story steel frame structure.

According to the finite element analysis of a circulating fluidized bed boiler steel frame structure, the essay concludes to the calculation results of the main steel structure, moreover the structure and the composition of bars are adjusted and optimized which improve the safety of the structure reliability and reduce the volume of steel. All of the above contents have certain reference value on the similar structure.

This paper presents a suitable solution of studying on the performance of energy consumption of BRB. The hysteretic curve of BRB is got with finite element software, and is lead into steel frame by virtual hinge. The results show that the BRB has more advantages in reducing the structural displacement and protecting the safety of the main structure compared with the general braces.

This article analysis stairs effect on steel frame structure under seismic loading by using the finite element software MIDAS Gen. Detailed analyzing impact of stairs on the self-vibration period, period ratio, the story drift and other design indexes in designing of the impact under seismic loading. Analysis shows that stairs have great effects on the design index of steel frame structure. Therefore the stair effect must be considered in analysis of structure design and modeling.

Based on the investigation of end plate and angle of semi-rigid connection in the steel frame of beam-column, an analysis of two connection type damage phenomenons, stiffness, bearing capacity and ductility, and then with the experimental results concluded above, the similarity and differences between the two semi-rigid connections can be extensively discussed. And with that, it can naturally be concluded that the end-plate connection is a good load capacity and ductility properties of semi-rigid connection type. These for, the conclusion can provide test basis for the ideal steel structure semi-rig seismic node design and application.

Structure damage identification is a hot research area internationally in recent years. Two damage identification methods based on sensitivity analysis are concluded. A three-tier steel frame structure model is established through utilizing ANSYS10.0, the software of finite element analysis. Through modal analysis of finite element, the frequency and formation before and after damage are obtained. The position of damage of the model is fixed by applying two damage indexes. It is indicated from the results that these two methods are effective for damage identification of the space structure of steel frame.
