Design of a Control System for a Turret Based Test Handler

Final testing procedures are performed to assure the quality of manufactured parts before their shipping to customers. Turret based test handler is a general kind of IC Test Handler for final testing. This paper discusses how to develop a general control system for a test handler of turret style in which every workstation moves up and down separately based on an industrial control computer. The combination of object-oriented programming and the cycling scanning working mode is the key of the whole system. To achieve ideal performance, special control flags are designed as an efficient way for making all the workstations work as setting orders stably. The method to developing the control system in this paper can be also applied to similar systems, which would greatly reduce development cycles. A turret based test handler with this control system has passed the test of a semiconductor factory and operates well in actual production.

We preliminarily designed a power tracking and control system using single-chip computers and industrial control computer in the electric heating simulated power loop. The system is an innovational design based on the proven simulated nuclear power loop, with increased techniques of step-less power regulation system and modeling nuclear feedback effect correctional programs. We promoted both hardware and software designs of this power tracking and control system in this paper. It used single-chip computers as the core control chips and an industrial control computer as the additional correctional program and record carrier. The process and implementation of the control software are presented, which is designed as a fuzzy theoretical nonlinear system. In order to ensure the subsequent updates, the access interface of the system is open for following correctional programs, including the correctional program of void fraction effect, temperature effect, hysteresis effect and heat power distribution effect. Taken hysteresis effect correctional program as an example, we use an offset tic-tac clock replacing the inherent tic-tac clock in different devices of the system in order to reduce the hysteresis effect of measuring and corresponding errors. We also put out a preliminary analysis of the accurate synchronization for the system at the end of the paper.

According to the characteristics of Wet Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD), this paper brings forward the automatic control requirements and the control methods. The automatic control system is composed of a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and an industrial control computer (PC). The automatic control system can monitor the operating parameters of FGD system automatically and conduct automatic control and adjustment to FGD system. The PLC is responsible for the data collection and automatic control, while the PC is responsible for the surveillance of FGD system operation and the data processing through mutual communications between PC and PLC, which realizes the communication between human and machine and ensures the safe, stable and economic operation of the FGD system.

This paper presents an open-architecture network motion controller system of Multi-sucker Wall-climbing Mechanism. It uses motion controller as control system kernel and industrial control computer as its system sustaining cell, also introduces system function, hardware configuration and the method of software design base on bus, winsock process manages off-line tasks. Complete the development of the client and server programming and networks of movement control system base on the C/S structure. Experiment show that the same wave between the actual speed of electrical and given speed. Delay is very small, constant speed along the passage of the volatility, run smoothly up and no speed super. The motion control system achieves some excellent capabilities such as precise trajectory, little responding time, high precision in fixing position.

BIT is a new technology about the system test, fault diagnosing and separating. It is more important in the design for the reliability and main tainability of system. The key technique, such as the fault tree and equation, the test location, the test signal picking and generating, the fault distinguish rule, the design of preventing error alarm and BIT software. The result showed that the key technology is useful, and the reliability, maintainability and ability of management to fault can be increased by means of BIT. The debugging of system becomes convenient. The method can be used in the system of intelligent-in-strument and industrial control computer.

With the increase of mining depth, the condition of underground water gushing becomes more complicated and uncertain; thus, the traditional pump control program cannot meet all the needs of safety production in coal mines. To this condition, the automatic pump control system based on KJD30Z mine intrinsically safe industrial control computer has been put forward, and pump automatic control system is formed. The automatic control of pump turn-on, turn-off and shift are realized according to the change of water bunker level. And so the real-time monitor of underground pump station from ground centralized control, In this way, better communication and alarm function can be formed, which is also quite helpful for the reliability of drainage system and the operation of economy.

An automatic injection mould machine for servo electric control system was introduced to deal with the existing problem of the control system of hydraulic injection mould machine. With the industrial control computer, the embedded industrial control computer is used as Main Processing Unit, other four units which are ejection, measurement, mode-locked and ejector were controlled by servo motor computer, with the combination of the control structure of cascade system. Objective: The cotton textile industry, as a competitive industry in China's international competition, is confronting new opportunities and challenges brought by the growing process of mechatronics. To further improve the traditional drive control of combing machines made in China and the automatic level of machines as a whole, some of our cotton textile enterprises have undertaken necessary technical transformations on the combing machines so as to raise the operational efficiency and production technology of domestic textile equipments. Methods: This paper focuses on the basic status and dynamic characteristics of the drive part of the domestic new comber, and analyzes the operation process of the comber and the prominent problems from the production practice. Results: The technically improved drive control system uses an industrial control computer (IPC) as the core of the system, which effectively improves the overall working efficiency of the comber, and improves the production accuracy and production efficiency. Conclusion: The combers that are textile machinery equipments with comprehensive application of machines, electricity, gases and instruments, play a vital role in enhancing product quality and production efficiency. Highly intelligent and integrated process control, real-time monitoring and accurate data acquisition and data analysis have become the mainstreams in the development of auto-control. Therefore, the commitment of high technology to transform the traditional production mode has also been an important research.

According to the testing craft and requirements of CNC Lathe about main spindle box, testing system of hardware and software structure was designed in this paper. It adopts sensors, data acquisition cards, industrial control computer, frequency converter and so on as hardware, good data analysis methods, and LabVIEW as software tool, to realize real-time monitoring of main spindle box testing conditions.
