Research on Parameters and Printing Reproduction Characteristics of Concentric Screening

Concentric dot is formed by dividing round AM dot into thin concentric rings, which has not only the shape characteristic of AM and FM dots, but also the features and advantages of the two dots. The Concentric Screening is a new halftone screening technology which breaks through the traditional model of reproduction image information by solid dot. To use concentric screening technology in offset printing, the first step is running single color print test to determine concentric screening parameters for the given printing condition. which is unique to concentric screening compare with solid dot printing. Through analyzing and evaluating the printing characteristics of single color print test, the paper provides the method to determine screening parameters such as screening rulings、CTP precision、the width of Ring and Space; Designing and running the four color test based on the first step is aimed to study the reproduction characteristic of concentric dot about gamut、definition、chroma, tone, compared with solid dot. The research shows that the parameters of concentric screening should be determined according to the specific production condition in offset printing. Concentric screening can obtain high saturation and present large color gamut. Also, concentric screening is suitable for high-quality products, which can accept high screen rulings and high-definition. This paper contains experimental study on the correlation between concentric screening parameters and color reproduction. The basis for evaluating concentric screening parameters is offered, and a comprehensive evaluation of its reproduction characteristics is done. This study provides a theoretical basis for the application of the concentric screening technology in offset printing.

In packaging market, Vacuum Plate of Aluminum by UV offset printing is light impediment effectively, moisture-proof, and forgery-proof and reaches the request of the green packaging production. Thus, the packaging of Vacuum Plate of Aluminum is used widely. This study was a true experimental research. The test form employed was the printing quality control strip from international printing specification. It was used to record and analyze the color variance between Vacuum Plate of Aluminum and Aluminum Foil with white board and no white board using UV Offset Printing. The study indicated the comparison of Tone Value Increased & the difference of Color Gamut Range among these three packaging materials via C, M, Y, K four colors tone value and RGB area testing, and results reveals that the tone value on the Vacuum Plate of Aluminum with white board increased most among these three materials; the dot gain percentage of the Vacuum Plate of Aluminum is less than 15% which with the highest stability than others. All signature findings are given in Fig.1 and Fig.2. These results are entirely consistent with research hypotheses.

With the rapid development of modern video technology, the range of video applications is increasing, such as online video conferencing, online classroom, online medical, etc. However, due to the quantity of video data is large, video has to be compressed and encoded appropriately, but the encoding process may cause some distortions on video quality. Therefore, how to evaluate the video quality efficiently and accurately is essential in the fields of video processing, video quality monitoring and multimedia video applications. In this article, subjective, and comprehensive evaluation method of video quality were introduced, a video quality assessment system was completed, four ITU recommended videos were encoded and evaluated by Degradation Category Rating (DCR) and Structural Similarity (SSIM) methods using five different formats. After that, comprehensive evaluations with weights were applied. Results show that data of all three evaluations have good consistency; H.264 is the best encoding method, followed by Xvid and wmv8; the higher the encoding bit rate is, the better the evaluations are, but comparing to 1000kbps, the subjective and objective evaluation scores of 1400kbps couldn’t improve obviously. The whole process could also evaluate new encodings methods, and is applicable for high-definition video, finally plays a significant role in promoting the video quality evaluation and video encoding.

The agricultural foundation is weak in Gansu Province. In recent years, with the implementation of various policies to benefit farmers, agriculture and rural areas have undergone tremendous changes and made remarkable achievements. However, there are still many problems, and the gap is still expanding compared with the whole country. In order to further improve agricultural modernization in Gansu Province, this paper uses the entropy method to evaluate and compare the development of agricultural modernization in Gansu Province in the past 10 years. Through the corresponding countermeasures, it provides a theoretical basis for Gansu Province to formulate agricultural modernization development plans and policy measures.

Based on Field Synergy Principle and orthogonal experiment design, nine arranged metal-wire inserts(that is high porosity porous inserts) is determined to experiment. The results showed that heat transfer performance of the pipe that metal-wire inserts is rooted at the core region of pipe is better than the pipe that metal-wire inserts is rooted at the edge region of pipe., location and curve radian can impact heat exchange significantly. Under the given experimental condition, the heat transfer quantity increased by 120 - 520%, overall heat transfer coefficient increased by 126 - 610%. Through enhancing heat transfer performance evaluation criterion (PEC) comprehensive evaluation, it is concluded that when the Reynolds number Re changes in 338 ~ 6931, the PEC value of 0.89 ~ 5.97.The calculation formula of the drag coefficient is obtained by regression analysis.

At present, among the methods of cable force measurement, the frequency method is applied extensively for its mature theory and rapid and repeated operation procedure. Based on the theory of frequency method measurement, it generally uses the numerical method with beam element to analysis the parameters of cables under the given conditions. However, the conventional beam element is not able to simulate the bending stiffness in beams section. Therefore, it turns to degenerated beam element to simulate cables and the results agree well with the results based on beam element and formulas calculation, and it provides theoretical basis for the later cable force testing system.

Saddles are used to support the horizontal pressure vessels such as boiler drums or tanks. Since saddle is an integral part of the vessel, it should be designed in such a way that it can withstand the pressure vessel load while carrying liquid along with the operating weight. This paper presents the stress analysis of saddle support of a horizontal pressure vessel. A model of horizontal pressure vessel and saddle is created in Ansys software. For the given boundry and loading conditions, stresses induced in the saddle support are analyzed using Ansys software. After analysis it is found that maximum localized stress arises at the saddle to vessel interface near the saddle horn area. The results obtained shows that the saddle support design is safe for the given loading conditions and provides the theoretical basis for furthur optimisation.

The article represents the theoretical basis for the generation of virtual material models with the given crystallographic orientation (CGO) of the structure in metals and alloys with the cubic crystal lattice. The obtained functional interrelations allow to take into consideration a metal sheet CGO in technological calculations of metal forming processes and, most significantly, a priori by means of calculations to determine the structure CGO meeting the requirements of increasing the materials formability and the product performance. It is given an example of the implementation of the calculated CGO of the structure while rolling can sheet from aluminum alloy 3104.

This paper studies the evaluation methods on model selection, matching scheme and matching program of automotive engine, transmission and final drive. Based on the given matching condition of the engine and transmission, the complete vehicle parameters, engine stand test data and drive line parameter, the program can quickly conduct selection and matching to the engine and drive line in the database and display the simulation results of the vehicle power, fuel economy and emissions corresponding to the each matching program, with which to do comprehensive evaluation to the corresponding matching program, provide a reference for users with drive line match and design and lay foundation for software system completion.
