Evacuation path is an important part of the marine disaster decision support. It can provide evacuation paths quickly for the affected people to ensure life safety. The application is developed based on android platform. Take advantages of GPS to obtain real-time location information in order to achieve dynamic path of the affected personnel evacuation. It has solved problems of information delay, inability to obtain or update the data in real time caused by traditional methods. Thus, the application has high availability.

A systematic study is described to address various design and implementation issues associated with the problem of real-time bus holding control. Two holding control models have been investigated. The first model follows the conventional threshold-based control logic that determines holding times on the basis of headway to the preceding bus. The second model makes use of both preceding and following headways in identifying optimal control decisions with the assumption that real-time bus location information is available for estimating future bus arrivals at the control stop. An extensive simulation analysis is performed using a real-fife bus route operated by the Grand River Transit of the region of Waterloo, Ontario. The simulation results have substantiated several conclusions and yielded new findings on various issues such as where to set the control point, how many control points should be used, what is the optimal control strength, and what is the value of real-time location information.

The automotive ECU, as a core component of automotive electronics, needs constant update to meet the performance requirements of the vehicle. Traditional methods, which rely on the professionals’ operations to update, cannot meet the development of vehicle network. The authors propose an automotive ECU remote update scheme in this paper. A remote download system that implements convenient and real-time automotive ECU updates is built in this paper. The system takes the mobile phone as an intermediary to communicate between the remote server and the onboard platform. Finally, the feasibility of the scheme is verified via experiments.

The subject is a research on a terminal which can accomplish the transmission of real-time location information, location, navigation, and communication by the wireless network of a monitoring system. The terminal equipment uses ARM as the microcontroller for extracting the information of GPS position, velocity and time. Then, the information is sent in the form of data packages or text messages by the GSM network and the ISM network of wireless transmission. The solution is stable and easy to control.

Face recognition is a challenging task for the researches. It is very useful for personal verification and recognition and also it is very difficult to implement due to all different situation that a human face can be found. This system makes use of the face recognition approach for the computerized attendance marking of students or employees in the room environment without lectures intervention or the employee. This system is very efficient and requires very less maintenance compared to the traditional methods. Among existing methods PCA is the most efficient technique. In this project Holistic based approach is adapted. The system is implemented using MATLAB and provides high accuracy.
