This paper is intended to design a parallel 50v/2A converter. The paper begins with the respective detailed working principles of PWM current control mode and voltage control mode, as well as their differences. By introducing the PWM IC UC3846 for current mode control, in order to meet the demand of duplex output, a full-bridge circuit is designed based on double chip PWM control, and the control circuit and the main circuit are explained in detail. The paper concludes with the proposal of a prototype that meets the expected experimental results.

<p>This paper presents the practical analysis of Boost converter operating in continuous conduction mode under current control. We start by theconverter modeling, then experimental results will be exposed where we propose an experimental circuit, to study the influence of the variation of different circuit parameters such as reference current, input voltage and load. We also analyze the control technique performances. The experimental results are given and interpreted in each case.</p>

This paper presents a direct current-controlled static reactive power compensator (DSTATCOM) for voltage quality improvement of low-medium distribution network. The main circuit of the DSTATCOM uses VSI-SPWM structure-based voltage source inverter (VSI), and both operation of reference current and control of compensation current are realized in synchronous reference frames. The function of DSTATCOM to mitigate voltage sag and flicker, two common voltage quality problems, is discussed in detail in this paper. According to the forming way of reactive reference current, operation mode of DSTACOM are classified into current control mode and voltage control mode. And under the two operation modes the function of DSTATCOM to mitigate voltage sag and flicker under different control modes is simulated with MATLAB. The simulation results show that the current control mode is suitable for mitigating voltage flicker, while the voltage control mode for voltage sag.

This paper presents analysis of control techniques of a converter fed microgrid in grid connected mode and islanded mode of operation. Here two control strategies are discussed , one for grid connected mode and the other for islanded mode of operation. In grid connected mode of operation the DG inverter system works in constant current control mode, and provide preset power to the grid, while in islanded mode of operation the DG inverter system goes to voltage control mode. Voltage control mode is simple and has a low number of control loops.

Abstract. A mid-frequency magnetron sputtering (MFMS) power supply based on TL494 and MCU was introduced. A Buck Chopper and full bridge inverter were applied to the main circuit. The PWM controller TL494 was used in the Buck voltage-regulation control circuit to realize closed loop control. The drive signal of the IGBT in full bridge inverter was based on precise digital pulse width modulator (DPWM) signal produced by the MCU M30290. The DPWM can be set by potentiometer so the power supply can output the square wave with adjustable frequency and duty cycle. The power supply was operated in constant current mode. For micro or strong arcing of the target, different safeguards were adopted by the control circuit. At last, the system test and experimental results show that the stability, reliability and tuning range of the MFMS power supply can meet the requirements of the magnetron sputtering coating.

The purpose in this paper is the design of the control to switching power supply for small perturbations. By the theoretical analysis and calculation, with the output filter inductor current and filter capacitor voltage switching power supply as two state variables, the conclusion is that control of the output filter inductor current sampling do well in the anti-jamming. The simulation is made for verification. And comparing the results, the current control mode shows a very strong anti-interference ability.

In most of the AC-DC hybrid power transmission system AC filters is widely applied to stabilize voltage level in addition to filter harmonic. However, the voltage stability of AC bus is greatly influenced by action sequence of switching AC filters in group. The paper presents the concept of reactive characteristics of the convertor and AC filters, using reactive and voltage control mode to switch them. The modeling, control, and principle of operation for the AC-side switching filters are described. The voltage level is controlled via regulating action of switching filters by step. The salient feature of the proposed control modes is that voltage control contributes to keep the voltage level, and reactive control has no fast response on guaranteeing voltage stability, but two methods can apply to different occasions based on the requirements of voltage stability. All analysis and control system designs are verified through building a RTDS model in a typical ±500kV power system.
