This paper introduces a high-precision, closed-loop and automatic checking marks synchronization control system based on STM32.It enhances the multi-axis motion accuracy as the goal synchronization control. The position synchronization arithmetic of cylinders and error compensation arithmetic for guide belt speed is to improve motion control accuracy of the synchronization between cylinders nodes, and realize absolute position synchronization control between cylinders. In the practical application, the system which will improve the grade of textile has simple structure ,low cost, highly accuracy and quickly dynamic response, and it has received satisfactory control effect. it is has the very high value of market popularization.

Continuous waveform (CW) radar is widely used in intelligent transportation systems, vehicle assisted driving, and other fields because of its simple structure, low cost and high integration. There are several waveforms which have been developed in the last years. The chirp sequence waveform has the ability to extract the range and velocity parameters of multiple targets. However, conventional chirp sequence waveforms suffer from the Doppler ambiguity problem. This paper proposes a new waveform that follows the practical application requirements, high precision requirements, and low system complexity requirements. The new waveform consists of two chirp sequences, which are intertwined to each other. Each chirp signal has the same frequency modulation, the same bandwidth and the same chirp duration. The carrier frequencies are different and there is a frequency shift which is large enough to ensure that the Doppler frequencies for the same moving target are different. According to the sign and numerical relationship of the Doppler frequencies (possibly frequency aliasing), the Doppler frequency ambiguity problem is solved in eight cases. Theoretical analysis and simulation results verify that the new radar waveform is capable of measuring range and radial velocity simultaneously and unambiguously, with high accuracy and resolution even in multi-target situations.

This paper introduces one ultrasonic distance measurement device based on single chip processor and mainly describes its hardware circuit and software design. The ultrasonic distance measurement device has many merits such as simple structure, low-cost, high-accuracy, microminiaturization, digital display and so on; this result reaches the expected target. The practice result shows that the ultrasonic telemeter has very high generalizing value.

The hydraulic lifter is mainly used in automobile testing and repairing. At present , most of hydraulic lifter adopts two cylinders structure, and the synchronization of two cylinders is realized by the connection of steel wire and chain. The problem of this lifter is under most circumstances only one cylinder is working, and another cylinder is moving positively by the pull of steel wire. To solve this problem, through adopting an unique three-gear structure which can guarantee the flow capacity to each cylinder is very even, this paper develops a good property, low cost, simple structure and easy installing synchronizer of hydraulic lifter. The hydraulic lifter installing this synchronizer can delete the original steel wire and chain. The experiment shows that the error of output flow capacity to each cylinder is very small and synchronizing precision is very high.

This paper presents a single axis tracking solar photovoltaic system,the system has the advantages of simple structure, high control accuracy, low cost. The tracking system be composed of sunlight sensor, controller, barrel ,motor. It can freely achieve to rotate in the space within the range from 0°to 180°. The sunshine vertical irradiation bias in the solar panel is not more than 0.3°. Compared with the fixed photovoltaic system,it can effectively improve the utilization efficiency of solar energy.

Metastable beta titanium alloys have been known to have numerous advantages such as cold formability, high strength, good fracture resistance, deep hardenability, and cost effectiveness. Very high strength is obtainable by precipitation of the hexagonal alpha phase in a bcc beta matrix in these alloys. Precipitation hardening in the metastable beta alloys may also result from the formation of transition phases such as omega phase. Ti-15-3 (Ti-15V- 3Cr-3Al-3Sn) has been developed recently by TIMET and USAF for low cost sheet metal applications. The purpose of the present study was to examine the aging characteristics in this alloy.The composition of the as-received material is: 14.7 V, 3.14 Cr, 3.05 Al, 2.26 Sn, and 0.145 Fe. The beta transus temperature as determined by optical metallographic method was about 770°C. Specimen coupons were prepared from a mill-annealed 1.2 mm thick sheet, and solution treated at 827°C for 2 hr in argon, then water quenched. Aging was also done in argon at temperatures ranging from 316 to 616°C for various times.

Background: Switches are important component in electrical system. The switches needs to have the advantages of low ON-state resistance, very high OFF-state resistance, high isolation, no leakage current, less power loss, fast switching, high linearity, small size, arcless and low cost in bulk production. Also these switches have to be reliable and environmental friendly. Methods: In this paper, macro and microswitches for power applications are extensively reviewed and summarized. Various types of switches such as mechanical, solid-state, hybrid and micromechanical switches have been used for power applications are reviewed. The importance and challenge in achieving arcless switching is presented. Results: The use of micromechanical switches for power applications, actuation techniques, switching modes, reliability and lifetime are also reviewed. The modeling and design challenges are also reviewed. Conclusion: The applications of micromechanical switches shows that the switches can reduce the leakage current in battery operated systems and reduce the size of the system considerably.

AbstractCoralligenous reefs are characterized by large bathymetric and spatial distribution, as well as heterogeneity; in shallow environments, they develop mainly on vertical and sub-vertical rocky walls. Mainly diver-based techniques are carried out to gain detailed information on such habitats. Here, we propose a non-destructive and multi-purpose photo mosaicking method to study and monitor coralligenous reefs developing on vertical walls. High-pixel resolution images using three different commercial cameras were acquired on a 10 m2 reef, to compare the effectiveness of photomosaic method to the traditional photoquadrats technique in quantifying the coralligenous assemblage. Results showed very high spatial resolution and accuracy among the photomosaic acquired with different cameras and no significant differences with photoquadrats in assessing the assemblage composition. Despite the large difference in costs of each recording apparatus, little differences emerged from the assemblage characterization: through the analysis of the three photomosaics twelve taxa/morphological categories covered 97–99% of the sampled surface. Photo mosaicking represents a low-cost method that minimizes the time spent underwater by divers and capable of providing new opportunities for further studies on shallow coralligenous reefs.

A novel capacitive sensor for measuring the water-level and monitoring the water quality has been developed in this work by using an enhanced screen printing technology. A commonly used environment-friendly conductive polymer poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly (styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) for conductive sensors has a limited conductivity due to its high sheet resistance. A physical treatment performed during the printing process has reduced the sheet resistance of printed PEDOT:PSS on polyethylenterephthalat (PET) substrate from 264.39 Ω/sq to 23.44 Ω/sq. The adhesion bonding force between printed PEDOT:PSS and the substrate PET is increased by using chemical treatment and tested using a newly designed adhesive peeling force test. Using the economical conductive ink PEDOT:PSS with this new physical treatment, our capacitive sensors are cost-efficient and have a sensitivity of up to 1.25 pF/mm.

Based on transferring energy from multiple pump beams into one Stokes beam using Brillouin amplification, a serial coherent laser beam combination scheme is presented, which has many advantages, such as, simple structure, low cost, ease of adjustment, higher load capability, scalable easily, etc. Furthermore, it has been demonstrated that the combination of several beams using this method is theoretically possible. But in practice, the amplification of high power Stokes beam is a key problem to solve. In this paper, the amplification of Stokes beam whose power is higher than the pump beam is first studied and proved experimentally. Coupling the two laser beams by this method is proved experimentally, and the coupling efficiency reaches more than 80%. Then the feasibility of multiple beams combination based on Brillouin amplification is analyzed and tested theoretically.
