With the development of network technology, communication technology and computer technology, the library circle has raised the climax of building the digital library. In this paper, it is necessary to establish human-machine interactive library management information system based on information technology, computer technology, networking technology to combine information, management with system, and to make library function maximal, service optimal and management canonical. Speed up data entry is one of the core aspects, and rapid data input is the main function of the library management system. After discussing the principles and methods of data input, OPAC systems and bar code technology can satisfy the requirements. Data input and output: the library can easily achieve all business input and output data; data storage and transfer: The database structure is reasonable, rational distribution, and store a variety of data makes the library all business data secure storage and mobile, highly centralized data management and sharing.

AbstractWith the growing amount of research projects in the field of interventional radiology, storing and organizing the patients' data and information effectively is becoming more difficult. Existing hospital electronic medical record and archiving systems store patient information in the form of reports which put the physicians and researchers in a situation where they have to use time-consuming manual search through reports for suitable patients for different clinical researches. Spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Excel® (Microsoft, Washington, USA) are often used as a data storage, which has limitations in both organization and the quality of the data. Higher risk of incorrect data entry and introducing duplicates are associated with data input and analysis without a database system. Furthermore, selection, as well as calculation of data, is time-consuming. This article aims to provide interventionists with an efficient data collection tool optimized for interventional oncology clinical research. The implementation of the current database and interface allows a much faster and more detailed retrospective analysis of patient cohorts. The database management system with an interface is a very time-efficient and robust tool that provides a significant edge over the manual retrieval of patient records by filtering data and assisting statistical analysis in a study-relevant fashion.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the technical comparison on SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System) software with Eprints and DSpace, so it will be proved technically whether SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System) can meet the criteria and standards as institutional repository software or not? . The research methodology used is an experimental approach in which researchers conduct direct experiments of SLiMS, Eprints and DSpace software starting from the installation stage, data entry, IP public provision to perform comparative analysis of the technical features of the three software. The results show that the SLiMS software (Senayan Library Management System) can meet the criteria and standards as the institutional repository software, because SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System) features the main required of an institutional repository software that functions as an asset management system digital collecting, preserving, preserving and publishing or disseminating scientific work of academic research of a college.

Highlights Digital data collection and management system is developed for the USDA-AMS’s shell-egg grading program. Database system consisting of OLTP, data warehouse and OLAP databases enables online data entry and trend reporting. Data and information management is done through web application servers. Users access the databases via web browsers. Abstract . This paper is concerned with development of web-based online data entry and reporting system, capable of centralized data storage and analytics of egg grading records produced by USDA egg graders. The USDA egg grading records are currently managed in paper form. While there is useful information for data-driven knowledge discovery and decision making, the paper-based egg grading record system has fundamental limitations in effective and timely management of such information. Thus, there has been a demand to electronically and digitally store and manage the egg grading records in a database for data analytics and mining, such that the quality trends of eggs observed at various levels (e.g., nation or state) are readily available to decision makers. In this study, we report the design and implementation of a web-based online data entry and reporting information system (called USDA Egg Grading Information Management System, EGIMS), based on a data warehouse framework. The developed information system consisted of web applications for data entry and reporting, and internal databases for data storage, aggregation, and query processing. The internal databases consisted of online transaction processing (OLTP) database for data entry and retrieval, data warehouse (DW) for centralized data storage and online analytical processing (OLAP) database for multidimensional analytical queries. Thus, the key design goal of the system was to build a system platform that could provide the web-based data entry and reporting capabilities while rapidly updating the OLTP, DW and OLAP databases. The developed system was evaluated by a simulation study with statistically-modeled egg grading records of one hypothetical year. The study found that the EGIMS could handle approximately up to 600 concurrent users, 32 data entries per second and 164 report requests per second, on average. The study demonstrated the feasibility of an enterprise-level data warehouse system for the USDA and a potential to provide data analytics and data mining capabilities such that the queries about historical and current trends can be reported. Once fully implemented and tested in the field, the EGIMS is expected to provide a solution to modernize the egg grading practice of the USDA and produce the useful information for timely decisions and new knowledge discovery. This legal writing motivated by the efforts made by the Bogor City State Prosecutor”s Office in order to make changes by implementing information technology innovations in handling general criminal cases, especially the handling of narcotics and psychotropic cases in order to realize good and professional governance. System, reduce abuse of power, and curb case administration from the SPDP stage to the implementation stage. The outline of this paper is to discuss the issue of implementing the Case Management System (CMS) in the data input process for handling narcotics and psychotropic crime cases at the Bogor City District Attorney”s Office in realizing an integrated criminal justice system. This research uses statutory, case, comparative, and conceptual approaches. The results showed that the data input process for handling cases of narcotics and psychotropic crimes was in accordance with the SOP, the application of an integrated case handling system in the Information Technology Integrated Case Management System (SPPT-TI) so that it could increase efficiency and effectiveness in case handling. However, there are still obstacles that were face, namely the lack of operator personnel and a lack of understanding of the application of the use of the Case Management System (CMS), but with these obstacles, training on CMS data entry conducted.

Computer-based information management systems have allowed many companies and facilities to greatly improve their data storage and processing capabilities over traditional paper and file methods. The Internet and its associated web-based technologies have further contributed to information processing capabilities. The Federal Transit Administration’s Bus Testing Program, operated by the Pennsylvania Transportation Institute at the Pennsylvania State University requires an upgrade to such a system. Currently, all bus test data is entered directly into a hardcopy report, and data analysis must be performed manually. The objective in this research is to develop an information management system for the bus test data to facilitate access to the data, enable search queries, and perform statistical analyses to examine current trends or predict performance characteristics of future buses. A database has been created in Microsoft Access and linked to a user-friendly graphical user interface developed in Visual Basic for fast and nearly error-free data entry. A web-based infrastructure comprised of HTML, XML, ASP, and customized COM objects is used to display, search, and analyze the bus test data. The resulting information system saves time and money for PTI while enabling easy access to bus test reports.
