Section-Ⅲ landside curtain wall of Hefei Xinqiao International Airport terminal adopted single layer cable net curtain wall, while others adopted stick-system curtain wall structure. In this paper, the section-Ⅲ overall structure model of Hefei Xinqiao International Airport terminal was established by using the finite element method (FEM) software ANSYS. The load bearing capacity and deformability of landside curtain wall under load cases with seismic loads and wind loads were analyzed. Also the cable net curtain wall’s effect on the main structure was discussed. The results showed that the displacements of curtain wall and the internal forces of cables met the requirements, and the cable net curtain wall had little effect on the main steel structure.

The joint domain of beam-to-column connection is very complex parts under loading, which plays an important role in transferring internal forces in light steel structure, such as moment, shear, axial force and so on. Considering the influence of its shear deformation in the structure calculation can help us to reflect the actual mechanics performance and evaluate precisely practical bearing capacity of the structure. According to the actual characteristics of beam-to-column connection, the author established some models of its joint domain, and used the finite element method to analyze and calculate shear deformation of these models. Meanwhile, the author researched the influence of the changes of various parameters to its shear deformation, and provided beneficial suggestions for revising the current design method of light steel structure finally.

The steel structure engineering of Hefei xinqiao international airport terminal is large span special-shaped steel structure, this paper simulate the construction process and analyze the internal force and deformation. Finite element analysis (FEA) software sap2000 is used to simulate and analyze the steel box girder and tubular truss, the results is used as the basis and guidance of construction monitoring.

High-strength prestressed cables were main bearing parts in single-layer cable mesh point-supported glass curtain wall structures, and it was always unable to take effective fire prevention measures on steel cables due to small sections. That the elastic modulus and yield strength of prestressed cables decreased sharply under fire conditions would threaten safety performance of the whole structure seriously. When glass breakage is considered and not considered, nonlinear finite element complete-process analysis for the single-layer cable mesh point-supported glass curtain wall structure was conducted. Influences of various factors on structure mechanical performance were studied under fire conditions. Through the calculation analysis of different joint constraint models, the ultimate temperature table suitable for different sizes and cable spacing of glass curtain walls was obtained under uniform heating conditions, and proposals for fire-resisting design were given.

The main building of Guilin Liangjiang International Airport Terminal T2 adopts the steel reinforced concrete frame structure, the central roof uses the spatial solid web arch support and single-shell steel structural system with the largest supporting arch span of 120 meters, and the single-shell steel structural system is connected with the spatial solid web arch through diagonal bracing. The large-span space steel structure of the roof had a large building area, and more than 300 lattice columns were used for temporary support in construction. In the unloading process of steel structure, the deformation and stress of the structure changed greatly. Simulation for all construction steps of the main steel structure, the key steel members and structural locations with large deformations were found out, and the monitoring scheme of deformation and stress of steel structure were determined. The stress monitoring of steel structural was completed by the self-developed wireless stress monitoring system. The deformation monitoring points were automatically searched by the deformation robot, and the three-dimensional coordinates of each monitoring points were measured. The measured results were compared with the initial data, and the deformation of structure was obtained. In the whole process of stress and deformation monitoring, the early warning values were set according to structural analysis and material properties, which could help engineers to make decisions on the structural safety. After the smooth construction of the project, we would find that the monitoring system meted the monitoring requirement during the construction stage, and the result was an important evaluation index for the structure. The research methods used in this paper could be seen as useful reference for construction of similar projects.

Sections of germinating spores of Bacillus polymyxa show that the primordial cell wall consists of a single layer. The intermediate layer and an outer rectangular array of macromolecules found on vegetative cells do not appear until the spore coats crack open about 60 min after initiation of germination. The initial areas of the new components appear in patches under the cracks in the coats. Within 10 min the wall is completed and takes on the profile seen in the vegetative cell. Negative staining and freeze-etching techniques show the regular structure to be identical with that previously shown for mature cells, although the subunits are more readily visible in negatively stained preparations.
