Taking the J2 area YK10+615~YK10+650 miles section related to the connection line of River-crossing tunnel to Nanjing plum delta--the youth Olympic axis underground traffic system engineering as the background, the 3d model is established by using finite element software MIDAS/GTS, the mileage period of excavation process is simulated, discuss the influence of excavation on adjacent soils. Calculation results show that the excavation will inevitably cause deformation of adjacent soil, and comparing the results of calculate and the actual monitoring data show that the method has certain guiding significance to actual engineering.

Deep Pit is the main content of modern urban geotechnical engineering. In this paper, based on a deep foundation pit engineering as an example, based on the nonlinear finite element theory, conduct a numerical simulation research for foundation pit excavation process. Obtained the distribution law of pit deformation, stress distribution and the supporting structure of the internal forces, under the various processes. These provide a theoretical basis for safety evaluation of foundation pit engineering.

The fracture theory of soil was a new developing problem in recent year. In this paper, the basic principle of fracture mechanics and the strength theory of soil were combined, and the soil-cracking strength theory was adopted to build a constitutive relation for cracked soils. In order to use such theory and to analyze how the cracked soils effect on retaining structure, we developed an elastoplastic finite element program. Finally, the calculation results from this program were compared with the surveying measured in model testing.

With the development of society and economy, China's investment in construction projects is increasing, which requires the construction and management staff to improve their professional level, to develop a more scientific construction plan to ensure construction quality, and ultimately to the construction goal. Especially in deep foundation excavation process, it not only needs to upgrade the technological level of the excavation, but also needs to enhance the impact of researches on the approaching buildings to make the appropriate preparations to reduce adverse effects on the surrounding buildings, which meets the actual needs of construction, to ensure building construction safety. By exploring the impact of deep excavation on adjacent buildings, the paper makes the construction workers deeply understand the importance of deep foundation construction work.

In this paper, By using a large common ABAQUS finite element software to simulate a hospital,s deep foundation pit excavation process in Changchun, Contrasting respectively pile-anchor retaining structure which had been adopted in the project with pile-strut bracing structure. Obtaining stress and deformation of soil and the stress and deformation of pile under the two supporting types, Analysis of the two supporting types feature only from the perspective of the force and deformation in foundation soil and piles, To provide a reference for future support in deep foundation excavation work.

Deep foundation pit supporting in soil-rock areas has been occurred commonly in Dalian. In the dual structure deep foundation pit in which platform is reserved, pile-anchor support as a typical form of foundation pit support, how to play its role effectively and make the design economical and safety is the subject which was explored continuously in recent years. Through a practical engineering case, this paper will use finite element software ABAQUS to simulate the whole process of pit excavation. Simulation results show that the boundary of the dual structure is the key position that caused the “sharp deformation” of the supporting structure. Compared with monitoring data, the results indicate that the reliability of the numerical model and the relevant deformation laws are verified, which can be used for the reference for the design, construction and monitoring of the deep foundation pit support in the similar location.

With the development of urban construction, deep large pits are often located at intensive underground structure area, and the utility pipe tunnel within various pipelines is the lifeline engineering of urban environment .Thus, there is the very necessary practical significance to research on utility pipe tunnel influenced by adjacent deep Excavation. Using large finite element software ANSYS, we analysis the problem with the deep foundation pit, support system, the soil around and adjacent tubes as an entirety. In considering of the mutual interaction between support structure and soil, as well as the element birth-death technology and restart analysis technology, the deep foundation pit mode is simulated and analyzed according to the actual construction process, including the gravity initial stress analysis and the simulation analysis on the each layer soil excavation. After simulation analysis the level of utility pipe tunnel’s horizontal and vertical displacement environment in different affecting factors and reinforcement measures, it is concluded that the law of utility pipe tunnel’s horizontal and vertical displacement, further the reasonable economic measure is put forward to protect the safety of the utility pipe tunnel. Therefore the conclusion has certain reference value for designing the foundation pit construction and the protection measures on the adjacent utility pipe tunnel.
