The results of researches after heat treatment (hardening and tempering) of alloyed structural steel of grade 4Kh4N5М4F2 in cast and forged state are given. It is recommended to carry out partial recrystallization (incomplete annealing) of the experimental steel (4Kh4N5М4F2) at a temperature of 750±20 °С. It is recommended to carry out thermo-deformation treatment (forging at a temperature of 1170±20 °C), which doubled the grain yield of hardened steel and increased the toughness five times after tempering. The optimal temperature mode of hardening (1095±5 °С) of cast and forged steel, the hardness of which coincides at the level of 56 HRC, is established. The grain score in cast and forged state (№ 3–№ 6 and № 6–№ 8, respectively) of the investigated steel depending on the quenching temperature (1050–1110 °С) is shown. The dependence between hardness and specific electrical conductivity of steel after hardening in comparison with cast and forged state is established. It is established that at optimized modes of heat treatment of the investigated steel it was determined by the minimum value of the parameter – specific electrical conductivity. Thus, for the optimal value of the tempering temperature of steel (1095 ºC), the specific electrical conductivity was 0,075 Ohm•mm2/ m, and at tempering (595 ºC) – 0,0415 Ohm•mm2/m. The methodical approach after hardening of steel is offered that allows carrying out control of a temperature mode at heating of the stamp tool. It is established that after hardening of steel, forged has the highest conductivity than cast. Physico-mechanical properties (strength threshold, impact strength, hardness, microhardness in the metal structure and specific electrical conductivity) of the investigated hardened steel (cast and forged) after tempering are presented. An increase in the hardness and strength of cast steel during tempering at temperatures from 450 to 500 °C, which is provided by the release of the carbide component, where there is an intensive increase in microhardness. It was found that the tempering brittleness of the investigated steel at a temperature of 475±15 °C. An anomalous decrease in impact strength (up to 15 J/cm2) and an intensive increase in the specific electrical conductivity of cast and forged steel at tempering brittleness are shown. The increase of microhardness of the investigated steel is established, which promotes increase of wear resistance and increase of service life of the stamping tool. It is established that during reheating (tempering), the conductivity in steel increases, and the structurally sensitive mechanical characteristic (impact strength) changes intensively, which increases twice in the range of tempering brittleness temperatures of 475±15 ºС. This makes it possible to increase the service life of the press tool (die) made of steel 4Kh4N5M4F2 for hot deformation of aluminum alloy in the temperature range 450-500 °C.

The failure of many IS development efforts suggests that the development process, in particular the role that key antecedents play in ensuring success, is poorly understood. Information systems are based on a series of highly complex interrelated tasks that can be significantly affected by organizational (e.g., management attention), project (e.g., resources), and technical (e.g., tools) drivers. Changes or disruptions in these can have severe and, in many cases, unanticipated consequences for IS development efforts. To help understand how disruptions during the IS development initiative affect the quality of the system, we employ the system dynamics methodology to capture feedback from non-linear activities, viz., those that define a systems development effort. The results from the simulation lead to some tangible and timely recommendations to manage an IS development initiative.

The quality of public services and the yield of organizations are not limited to the financial investment and innovation solely. Human capital plays a critical role in the growth and excellence in institutions, but its contribution remains dependent on several factors. Its role is not limited on quantitative and qualitative accumulating, because it should be coherent and integrated in the development process. The theories of endogenous growth contributed to account for the disparity in levels of development between countries, by assuming that the extent of human capital response or inversely lack of responsiveness the economic system. This inaction is usually the prime cause of the deterioration of the quality of service and lack of satisfaction of the citizens, in addition of the lack of employee satisfaction about the circumstances of his work. Hence, arose the significance of several research about the mechanisms of reducing non-enthusiasm for the job or complacency professional and indifference. Staff of Jazan University has been chosen as a context of the empirical investigation of this study. The data has been collected using a well designed questionnaire and analyzed by SPSS program.

This study focuses on the perceived quality of participatory event experiences by addressing the following question: What are the important aspects of the event experience? The aim of this research is to develop and refine a scale to measure the quality of the event experience for runners at a participatory event. The objective is to combine, apply, test, and refine the existing scales to increase our understanding of the perceived quality of events among amateur running athletes. Both affective and cognitive dimensions are included in the scale. Based on seven dimensions and 36 items, a formal scale development process is adopted. The data consist of 1,923 observations collected during a participatory event with approximately 60,000 registered participants. The seven-factor model, including immersion, surprise, participation, fun, social aspects, hedonic aspects, and service quality, was gradually revised in favor of a four-factor solution: service quality, hedonic aspects, fun, and immersion. As a result, 73.1% of the variance is extracted. This study contributes to a refined scale measuring the perceived event quality of participatory events. Service quality accounts for more than half of the variance extracted. Researchers should continue to develop research on the critical experiential dimensions in an event context. Furthermore, the links between the constructs need attention. The results suggest that event organizers should evaluate their events and event portfolios based on the scale and take actions to increase the perceived quality of these events.

This chapter deals with Indian ‘innovations for the millions’ (I4M)—new products, processes, and institutional arrangements—that sustainably improve the quality of life of those at the base of the pyramid. Taking ten examples which originated from the private, public, NGO and cooperative sectors, the chapter suggests that these innovations are a response of the ‘elite of calling’ to the Indian paradox – high growth in a large economy, co-existing with a very large number at the base of the pyramid. The chapter argues that a more supportive ecosystem needs to be built to foster I4M, including reforms in regulation and taxation, and attracting bright young people. If that happens Indian I4M can serve billions at the base of the pyramid around the world.

The aim of this research is to investigate related effect of dyeability to linen textiles related to different printing parameters. The study investigated the change in color characteristics when printing on linen fabrics with an inkjet MIMAKI Tx400-1800D printer with pigmented TP 250 inks. The dependence of color reproduction on linen fabrics on the number of print head passes, number of ink layers to be coated, linen fabric density, and different types of linen fabric was investigated. All this affects the quality of print and its mechanical properties. The change in color characteristics on different types of linen fabrics was determined experimentally. We determine at which print settings the most accurate color reproduction can be achieved on different linen fabrics. The difference between the highest and the lowest possible number of head passages was investigated. The possibilities of reproducing different linen fabric colors were determined.
