This paper is concerned with the power and fuel economy performance simulation study of power splitcontinuously variable transmission(PSCVT). Firstly, mathematic model of PSCVT is established and the shifting rule is designed based on the introduction of PSCVT working principle; Secondly, the fuzzy-PID controller is designed according to the control requirements of electronic control system; Thirdly, the vehicle model with PSCVT and engine model are established to carry out the PSCVT power and fuel economy performance simulation. The simulation results indicate that the vehicle fuel consumption with PSCVT is reduced distinctly with the same power performance.

In view of the working principle and characteristics of the CVT with electronic control and a motor as actuator (EM-CVT), a economical car performance is studied by means of combination of simulation calculation and prototyping test. EM-CVT mathematic model is established and embedded into the simulation software Cruise to finish the whole vehicle modeling. The performance comparison between vehicle with EM-CVT and automatic transmission is presented after simulation based on the experiment data on the EM-CVT prototype under UDC, which indicates that the vehicle fuel consumption with EM-CVT is reduced distinctly with the same power performance.

Variable-capacity matching of continuously variable-capacity double-impeller torque converter applied to a loader was studied in the article. Static variable-capacity matching of continuously variable-capacity double-impeller torque converter was performed under the two-impeller state and slipping state. Dynamic variable-capacity matching based on the V-shaped operating cycle was simulated in order to reflect the matching performance of the double-impeller torque converter more intuitively. The working speed of double-impeller torque converter together with engine was analyzed when the loader shoveled different materials, and the power performance and fuel economy of the whole machine were calculated. The continuously variable-capacity double-impeller torque converter applied to a loader could not only meet the requirements of matching different loader working conditions but also enhances the power performance and fuel economy of the whole machine in running condition compared with the original torque converter.

This paper deals with the basic insight of thermoacoustic refrigeration concepts, and the working principle, history and the role of linear thermoacoustic theory in designing a thermoacoustic refrigerator system are discussed. Resonator design optimization procedure for a 10W cooling power thermoacoustic refrigerators is discussed. The optimized resonator designs proposed in this paper are found to be efficient compared to published resonator designs. The effects of drive ratio on the theoretical performance by varying dynamic pressure amplitude from 0.2 bar to 0.4 bar in the steps of 0.05 bar on the optimized resonator designs are discussed. Performance simulation results for the optimized resonator designs using DeltaEC software are discussed. Simulation results are in agreement with theoretical results.

Based on the dual clutch automatic transmission, the shift rule is studied. MTTLAB is used to establish the engine model, the transmission model and the vehicle dynamics model respectively. The input parameters are numerically analyed to analye the shift rules of the vehicle, including the best dynamic shift law and the best fuel economy shift law, the combination of shift law. According to the simulation results, we analysis three indicators which include shift speed and quality and fuel consumption. The acceleration performance of the vehicle is better than that of the economic shift rule when the dynamic shift rule is adopted. When the combined shift rule is adopted, the acceleration performance is changed from the slow to the fast. Economic shift law behave the minimum fuel consumption and the best economic performance, combined shift of the economy followed by the economic shift law, the dynamic law is the worst performance of the economy. The combined shift rule is suitable for vehicles that do not have special power requirements and fuel economy requirements for vehicles or vehicles that travel for a long period of time.

The structure and working principle of a new translational piston compressor was introduced in this paper. Its piston works in a way of translational motion, hence reduces the piston’s relative velocity to cylinder and cap, as well as friction and wear. In order to avoid vane detaching from piston, simulations were carried out regarding the pre-tightening spring and an optimal preload of the spring was obtained. By analyzed and compared to conventional rolling piston compressor in term of contact force between vane and piston, it was pointed out that the new compressor possessed advantage of kinetic characteristic and is more suitable for the situation of high rotary speed.
