In the present rural power grid reconstruction project ,according to the problems of capacitor reactive power compensation in rural small substation. Take a small substation for instance, according to its operation and control method, set the criterion of the capacitor bank switching. A new high reliability, flexible reactive power compensation control device based on s7-200 PLC is designed. It plays an important role in improving the power supply , guaranteeing the quality of voltage, reducing the loss of rural power gid.

It has great significance for the capacitor reactive power compensation device to improve the quality of the power system voltage and reduce the line loss. This paper proposes a reactive power compensation measurement and control device scheme that integrates reactive power compensation with microcomputer protection function, it also can cover the shortage of the microcomputer relay protection of parallel capacitor reactive power compensation system, the whole system is linked by the RS485 bus. The paper mainly introduces the hardware design around the STM32 series micro controller. And then introduce the design of the software on main programming algorithm of parameter measurement, communication protocol and capacitor protection configuration and the criterion of the major programming algorithm.

According to the operation features that voltage of wind farm fluctuate greatly, we analyzed the operation features of reactive power compensation equipment and put forward the coordination control method of compensation equipment. The method solved the problem for a single for reactive compensation equipment caused by the slow speed and poor economy. Based on the target of safe and economical operation, we raised that using composite indicator calculate the capacity of all kinds of required compensation equipment, and then we had coordinated control to compensation equipments. This paper gave an example of Guazhou Gansu and tested and verified the feasibility and effectivity of the method.

This paper analyses and researches the performance and principle of DSTATCOM in distribution network .Detecting means and control method of DSTATCOM are key point of this paper. The paper determines the detecting means of improved d-q transformation theory of vector control based on instantaneous reactive power and adopts a novel strategy based on the prediction table of double variable. Moreover, the simulation of DSTATCOM is presented with MATLAB. The simulating results prove the DSTATCOM put forward in the paper can realize dynamic reactive power compensation efficiently.

This paper introduces a kind of low-voltage dynamic reactive power compensation technology which is applied in intelligent industrial park. The system scheme, working principle, technical feature of the DCS-KB-2100 type low voltage power dynamic compensation device is recommended. According to the application result, the low voltage reactive power compensation technology has been greatly improved power quality, improve the power factor of the power grid. The advancement and stability of the low voltage reactive power dynamic compensation technology is verified. In the process of enterprise production, it gives full play to the role of energy saving and consumption reducing, points out the direction on the technological innovation of the industrial park electricity intellectualization, and provides a reliable technical support.

In this paper Matlab-simulink model of single phase variable load with Fixed Capacitor-Thyristor controlled reactor (FC-TCR) for compensation of reactive power is presented. The specific feature of proposed model is determining load reactive power instantaneously and by involving automatic control method compensate load reactive power. The model of FC-TCR and control system is presented such that it is easy to implement in hardware. Detail discussion of all the block is given. And all the results are discussed for the various load.

The “five-zone” control theory is a kind of Reactive power integrated control theory With the device as the control object directly which is different from the traditional “nine-zone” theory . It has high control precision and good control effect and has a broad application prospect. However, with the appearance of New type of dynamic reactive power compensation device, the basic five-zone control theory can’t meet the new demand In this paper, on the basis of the traditional "five-zone"theory, considering the dynamic reactive power compensation device, the traditional five area boundary is improved. Based on the improved chart on the basis of the five area, defines a new type of five area chart control method, and finally verifies “improved five-zone” control method by simulation.

A large number of inductive loads need the reactive power, and the amount of the reactive power compensation is different in a state of work. The traditional static reactive power compensator is difficult to meet the needs of the reactive power compensation for the composite load reactive. Therefore, a dynamic reactive power compensation method of the composite power load is proposed in this paper. The following works have been done in the study: principle of dynamic reactive power compensation control method, topological structure of dynamic reactive power compensation device, and implementation of the dynamic reactive power compensation control method.
