The paper discusses and researches the assessment method of graduation results for basketball elective course in Wuhan Institute of Physical Education preliminarily, by literatures and questionnaires. It is shown from the research results that the comprehensive assessment method based on fuzzy mathematical theory reflects the wide practicality and adaptability in the assessment of elective results in physical academies. The educational assessment of physical colleges is conducted under a special circumstance. Over the last decade, lots of new ideas, new concepts, new models, and new methods of foreign education assessment have appeared, such as: alternative assessment, implementation assessment, and dynamic assessment. Some are more mature with feasibility and application value, some methods are cumbersome, lack of feasibility and universal. The paper pays the full attentions and makes calm analysis for the domestic and international development trends in the assessment, based on the scientific, practical, and innovative way. The discussed fuzzy comprehensive assessment method is a method that applies the fuzzy mathematics to educational assessment filed, which highlights the systematization of assessment index of students. It emphasizes the combination of qualitative assessment and quantitative assessment for a comprehensive, objective, and fair assessment of students' development, to describe the condition and progress of students more clearly and accurately.

The combination method of fault tree analysis and nonlinear fuzzy comprehensive assessment method was proposed to make research of oil & gas pipeline failure .The common factors influencing oil & gas pipeline failure could be determined with fault tree analysis .However , the practical operated oil & gas pipeline often have some individual factors and fuzzy ones .Nonlinear fuzzy comprehensive assessment method could evaluate objectively based on evaluated factors sets and weight sets provided by fault tree analysis .The new model steps were listed by taking the example of oil & gas pipeline failure .The result indicates that the method is more reasonable and easier for engineering application , and the evaluation result is more with the objective reality.

Pipeline transportation is the most important transport mode for crude oil. When oil pipeline operates at low throughput or shutdown, congelation accident always happen as the temperature of oil in pipeline drops, which causes malignant accidents and significant financial losses. Study of the various factors affecting congelation failure is necessary. According to the statistics and analysis of congelation accident, direct and indirect reasons of affecting pipeline congelation failure were determined. Combining with fuzzy comprehensive assessment method, the related importance of factors on congelation accident was studied, and the grade of factors affecting failure congelation of pipeline was also identified. Aiming at the factors, some improvement measures were put forward. These can provide evidences for accident treatment, planned maintenance, security operation and scientific management.

In view of the ambiguity and randomness of the assessment of earthquake scene rescue performance, this paper proposes an integrated assessment method considering quantitative and qualitative influencing factors from three levels: search, rescue and medical treatment. Firstly, this study constructs an assessment index system of rescue performance at the earthquake scene based on the International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG) guidelines set by International Search and Response. Secondly, the subjective weights and objective weights of each index were calculated using the hierarchical analysis process (AHP) and cloud model, respectively. The comprehensive weights were calculated using weighted analysis, and the performance assessment results were visually expressed by cloud model images. Finally, the study was applied to an earthquake rescue case with an initial assessment of 4.0065, and its performance was improved by 4.36% when the rescue process was optimized. The assessment results show that earthquake rescue performance can be estimated, and the rationality and effectiveness of the method was validated.

This paper presents a method for calculating the health degree (HD) of a braking system of a mine hoist combined with three-level fuzzy comprehensive assessment (TLFCA) and a back-propagation neural network (BPNN). Firstly, the monitored values of a sensor are fused by multi-time fusion and the fuzzy comprehensive assessment values (FCAVs) of the health condition (HC) of the sensor are obtained. Secondly, the FCAVs of all sensors in a subsystem are fused by multi-sensor fusion, and FCAVs of the subsystem are obtained. Then the FCAVs of all subsystems are fused by multi-subsystem fusion and FCAVs of the system are obtained. All the FCAVs are fed into a pre-trained neural network, and the corresponding HD of the sensor, subsystem and system is obtained. Finally, the practicability, reliability and sensitivity of the proposed method are verified by the monitored values of the test rig. This paper presents a method to provide technical support for intelligent maintenance, and also provides necessary data for further prognostics health management (PHM) of the braking system. The method presented in this paper can also be used as a reference for the HD calculation of the whole hoist and other complicated equipment.

Smart grid must be evaluated correctly so that its development stage is determined and weak links, restrict factors in development are found. Based on it, the path from the stage to the next stage is planned for power enterprises. In view of the poor accuracy of conventional assessment methods, caused by subjective factors and uncertainty, the fuzzy comprehensive assessment method is applied to assess smart grid. Firstly, a smart grid assessment system is founded based of IBM’s smart grid maturity model, and then method and procedure of fuzzy comprehensive assessment method are introduced. The study on an example shows that this approach is effective and feasible.

Integrated energy system (IES) is an essential ingredient of energy reform. The construction of IES can promote the coupling utilization of multiple energy sources, and improve the reliability and flexibility of energy system. Based on amounts of literature study and experts’ recommendations, 9 first- class indexes, 13 second-class indexes and 11 third-class indexes are confirmed to assess the integrated energy system from three dimensions of technology, economy, and environmental protection. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and fuzzy comprehensive assessment method are adopted to assess the overall quality of chosen integrated energy system. An industrial park is chosen to be an example and examine the evaluation condition of IES.
