In this paper, built fire control safety evaluation index system according to the underground engineering characteristics of fire and introduce a method to determine the weighing values for assessment index. Put fuzzy comprehensive assessment method on underground engineering of fire safety assessment, then use fuzzy mathematics theory build a model of engineering of fire safety assessment fuzzy evaluation, and through the underground engineering design of fire safety assessment, to prove its scientific and effective.

By combined fuzzy comprehensive evaluation with AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) together, a safety assessment model for overhead traveling crane is set up in regard to deficiency of safety assessment method for crane at present, which can evaluate safety of overhead traveling crane in-service qualitatively and quantitatively. Through a safety analysis and assessment on general overhead traveling crane, the result of assessment is in accord with the practical situation of overhead traveling crane. It can reflect more fully the safety of the whole crane system and the influence and level of each factor to whole crane system safety, witch an effective synthetic evaluation method is put forward for the safety evaluation of crane.

Hoisting machinery belongs to special machinery equipment and is gradually developing towards advanced technologies such as lightweight, energy conservation and safety reliability. Therefore objective evaluation for safety circumstances of bridge crane has major engineering significance. The fuzzy-AHP comprehensive evaluation model has been established by fuzzy evaluation method and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method. In addition, application of the fuzzy-AHP method in bridge crane safety evaluation has been discussed. Firstly, the safety evaluation index system is established according to working environment, manufacturing technology and service condition of bridge crane. Secondly, weight coefficient is determined by AHP method and single stage fuzzy evaluation is processed. Based on this result, multi stage fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is conducted. Finally, the safety grade of bridge crane is obtained. Besides, fatigue test of relevant main girder model is conducted and the accuracy of safety evaluation based on the fuzzy-AHP method is verified through test results.

To effectively evaluate the safety of houses and buildings, and its owners, users and managers in the usage and management of the process to provide guidance, establish the detailed impact of the third-level buildings safety evaluation index system. Based on the fuzzy theory, used AHP to determine the weight of each index and establish a housing building security fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model. Use this model to execute the security of a middle school as an example and the results shows that the evaluation method is feasible, scientific and reasonable.

With integrated consideration of existing research on power grid development evaluation index system and requirements of power grid development diagnosis, a more comprehensive power grid development diagnostic index system is established from five aspects of power grid security and reliability, high efficiency, coordination, economics and social environment and more than 20 indicators. In addition, a new power grid development diagnostic evaluation method based on hierarchical analysis and multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is proposed in order to diagnose and assess power grid status quo and the actual level of development comprehensively, objectively and systematically ,which will help power grid enterprises conveniently to find the main reason of affecting the power grid and enterprise development and encourage enterprises to continuously improve the targeted improvement measures and the level of grid development.

Aiming at the fire type and evolution of large ship cabins, a fire risk analysis method of large ship cabins based on fire scene analysis was established, which is basing on the International Maritime Organization (IMO) SOLAS Convention and International fire procedures (FTP ) by combining Chinas ship cabins fire protection technology and fire safety management features. The purpose is to improve technical level of the fire risk management and fireproof disposal basing on fire prevention with warning disposal by dynamic risk management of ship cabins fire hazard and fire control technology.

In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of a power system, the performance evaluation of transformer windings after a short-circuit test can predict whether the windings are deformed in order to provide a useful reference for the operation and maintenance of the power sector. This paper proposes a method for evaluating the performance of transformer windings in order to improve the overall effectiveness of a winding evaluation. The index data obtained based on a short-circuit impedance method, frequency response method, and oscillation wave method are used in the algorithm proposed in this paper. First, the transformer winding performance evaluation index system is constructed. Second, the weight of each index is determined by analytic hierarchy process, and then the fuzzy comprehensive assessment method is introduced, and the fuzzy evaluation matrix is established, the evaluation results are calculated using the evaluation formula. Finally, the maximum membership principle is used to determine the performance level of the transformer winding on the evaluation results, and the evaluation results of the transformer winding state are obtained. The example shows that the evaluation level of the measured transformer winding performance can be obtained by this method as “good”. Compared with the traditional method, this method can simplify the evaluation while maintaining higher accuracy.

Fire safety plays a vital role in tourism management, which can cause significant loss of life and property. It is necessary to present an efficient fire safety evaluation for scenic spots. However, some key issues are not well addressed in existing methods. For example, how to model experts’ opinions and how to combine them are still open problems. To address these issues, a new evaluation method based on the Dempster–Shafer evidence theory and best-worst method is presented. First, a fire safety evaluation index system is constructed using the domino model. Domain experts can evaluate different factors with linguistic assessments. The best-worst method is used to determine the weights of different factors. Then, these weighted linguistic assessments are efficiently fused by Dempster’s combination rule to obtain the evaluation result. Finally, a case study is illustrated to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method in fire safety evaluation for scenic spots. The main contribution of the proposed method is to represent and handle the uncertainty in experts’ linguistic assessments, so as to decrease the uncertainty and improve decision making. In addition, the weight determination method BWM is easier and more reliable than the existing method AHP.
