As a new integration and packing technology, the low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) technology attracts close attention for its excellent advantages such as high speed transfer characteristics, high reliability, miniaturization, etc. However, the sintering shrinkage of LTCC substrate always affects the practical effect of it. In this paper, the material characteristics, methods to control the sintering shrinkage of LTCC substrate and the development trend for the control methods are mainly overviewed. It is contributed to the research and application of LTCC technology.

The harmonic reducer, with its advantages of high precision, low noise, light weight, and high speed ratio, has been widely used in aerospace solar wing deployment mechanisms, antenna pointing mechanisms, robot joints, and other precision transmission fields. Accurately predicting the performance of the harmonic reducer under various application conditions is of great significance to the high reliability and long life of the harmonic reducer. In this paper, a set of automatic harmonic reducer performance test systems is designed. By using the CANOpen bus interface to control the servo motor as the drive motor, through accurately controlling the motor speed and rotation angle, collecting the angle, torque, and current in real time, the life cycle test of space harmonic reducer was carried out in high vacuum and low temperature environment on the ground. Then, the collected data were automatically analyzed and calculated. The test data of the transmission accuracy, backlash, and transmission efficiency of the space harmonic reducer were obtained. It is proven by experiments that the performance data of the harmonic reducer in space work can be more accurately obtained by using the test system mentioned in this paper, which is convenient for further research on related lubricating materials.

AbstractA simple process sequence for fabrication of low temperature polysilicon (LTPS) TFTs with self-aligned graded LDD structure was demonstrated. The graded LDD structure was self-aligned by side-etch of Al under the photo-resist followed by excimer laser irradiation for dopant activation and laterally diffusion. The graded LDD polysilicon TFTs were suitable for high-speed operation and active matrix switches applications because they possessed low-leakage-current characteristic without sacrificing driving capability significantly and increasing overlap capacitance. The leakage current of graded LDD polysilicon TFTs at Vd = 5V and Vg = −10V could attain to below 1pA/μm without any hygrogenation process, when proper LDD length and laser activation process were applied. The on/off current ratios of these devices were also above 108. Furthermore, due to graded dopant distribution in LDD regions, the drain electric field could be reduced further, and as a result, graded LDD polysilicon TFTs provided high reliability for high voltage operation.

The measurement of tunnel water inflow is not only an important basis for engineering design changes, but also an effective verification of design. This paper combines with the analysis of the measured data of groundwater of large water inflow section, which appeared in the construction of high-speed Jianfeng mountain super long tunnel in Fuling Fengdu, Chongqing city, and detailed information of hydrological survey results. This paper has re-evaluated the engineering geology and hydro-geological of large gushing sections to clear the reason of water inflow, the development trend characteristics of groundwater and stability of surrounding rock. It is shown in this paper that the measures such as strengthening the support parameters, optimizing the waterproof and drainaging design schemes, and other measures can be adopted to ensure the safety of tunnel construction and effectively realize the concept of dynamic construction.

The high-speed ceramic electric spindle is applied in high-speed NC machine tools. Now the technology of ceramic spindle with its excellent performance applied to electric spindle is becoming a kind of important development trend. Each surface processing accuracy requirement of high-speed ceramic electric spindle is high. The performance of the electric spindle in largely determines machining precision and production efficiency of the high-speed machine tool. In order to meet the requirements of high speed, high accuracy, high reliability and small vibration in the rapid processing of machine tool, it is necessary to make a rigorous precision testing for the precision-processed spindle and obtain reliable data to meet the design standards and performance requirements of all ceramic high-speed spindle. This paper focuses on the research of surface roughness, roundness and cylindricity analysis of spindle external circular, which can make the precision-processed zirconia ceramic spindle pore to meet the design requirements and provide reliability safeguard to promote the using life and high-speed dynamic balance stability of the whole electric spindle.

Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic (LTCC) material systems have been successfully used in microwave and millimeter wave systems for several years. LTCC has very low dielectric loss, high reliability due to inherent hermeticity; high interconnect density, multilayer processing capability leading to true 3D packaging, and better cost-performance balance. While the medium range dielectric constants (7.00 – 8.00) offered by current tape systems have advantages, it is generally difficult to realize high speed systems and efficient antennas on LTCC, especially at millimeter wave frequencies. The difficulty arises from the reduced signal propagation velocity in high-speed applications, and lower radiation efficiency for antennas, both due to higher dielectric constant. To enable and extend applications of LTCC technology to these subsystems, DuPont has developed a new low dielectric constant LTCC system – DuPont™ GreenTape™ 9K5 - which has a dielectric constant of 5.80 (at 10 GHz) that is compatible with the commercial DuPont™ GreenTape™ 9K7 LTCC System. This is achieved without compromising excellent microwave loss properties of the 9KX GreenTape™ platform. These materials systems enable high-speed, high reliability applications while also realizing efficient antennas on LTCC. This paper presents initial characterization of the new DuPont™ GreenTape™ 9K5 LTCC system consisting of low K dielectric tape, gold and silver conductors to evaluate the effects of chemistry, processing conditions, processing latitude, microstructure, and microwave performance. Test coupons with various transmission and resonating structures are designed, fabricated, and tested for the evaluation of transmission losses and dielectric properties. Stability of the material system over multiple re-fire steps is also examined

This paper first describes the characteristics of the different definitions of high-speed presses and the characteristics of the object suitable for processing parts. The study of this article focus on the standards on the working limit of the passenger car. The standards for passenger cars at low temperature were studied and proposed by combination of the technical content in cold regions’ environments and the development trend in the domestic and international situation. The proposed standards can improve the service life of mechanical parts, reduce wear and failure of passenger cars and improve the passenger's power, economy and security. In the industry standardization and the objective requirements of relevant standards, this proposed standards are the basis to ensure fair competition in international trade, maintain the normal order of market and make up a communication bridge among the international economic cooperations. Maintain maximum benifit of the China's auto industry in the internationality. The emphases of the standards is to establish standards for low temperature environment laboratory, draw our own standards on product characteristics and screening standards system in line with China's actual conditions.
