The cotton fiber winding has always been a problem for a picking cotton machine to conquer. This design theoretically pointed out the reasons, at the same time around launched a mechanical cotton-pickers laptop without transmission mechanism, but with a flexible helicopter. This machine is made of cotton picking a direct drive of micro-motors to rotate, the protection cover to picking cotton, and gear transmission by the wind, thus instantly complete cotton flower of picking cotton, improve efficiency, but also greatly reduce the labor intensity of cotton.

Metallographic examination is one of the essential means of materials science research. Metallurgical polishing is a significant preparation before metallographic examination. In this paper, a polishing liquid automatic drip system was designed and related experiments were conducted. The results show that, as a secondary automation equipment of polishing process, polishing liquid automatically supply system can meet the requirements of metallurgical polishing, reduce the labor intensity, improve efficiency and also reduce the polishing liquid consumables waste. It also shows that automation and computerization in the field of material is not only feasible, but also essential for materials science research.

This article analyzes the NGW type planetary gear transmission mechanism and structure, establishes boundary constraint conditions and mathematics optimization model in view of the smallest volume's project objective. It can realize the NGW type planetary gear transmission optimization design through compiling corresponding computer program, obtain the optimization design parameters. In optimization design's foundation, it applies the CAD technology to establish drawing program, realizes the parametric drawing.

The operation effectiveness of multi-bar transplanting mechanisms is low, and the specific changing law of the transmission ratio (the curve of the transmission ratio has twice unequal amplitude [TUA] fluctuation.), which is needed in vegetable pot seedling transplanting, is difficult to fulfill using a planetary gear train with noncircular gears and a single-planet carrier. To address this problem, we propose a noncircular gear pair that comprises an incomplete noncircular gear, rack, partial noncircular gear, and elliptical gear. The structural characteristics and the working principle of the TUA gear pair were analyzed. The pitch curve equation of the noncircular TUA gears was derived from the relationship of the angular displacement of the corresponding pitch curves. The influence of central angle α and eccentricity k on the shape of the pitch curve, angular displacement, and transmission ratio of the TUA gear pair was analyzed. The TUA gear pair was applied to a proposed vegetable seedling pickup mechanism (SPM) considering the design requirements. Finally, the feasibility of the new noncircular TUA gear transmission mechanism was verified by an SPM test.

The sound emitted from the valve mechanism of a diesel engine was investigated by standard methods of sound and vibration analysis augmented by correlation of incidence of individual transient components. This latter technique makes use of information obtained from the tuned output of the noise signal focusing attention on the incidence of single-frequency transients. Three distinct sources of noise were exposed: valve-gear transmission mechanism, valve impact, and the flow of air through the valve gaps. The characteristics, relative contributions, and effects of these sources are discussed in detail, and insight is gained into the mechanism of noise generation and radiation.

In order to make the coal mining machine adapt the narrow work space underground, and the height of shearer is decided by the planetary gear transmission mechanism of traction unit. In this paper, the volume of planetary gear transmission mechanism is selected as objective function, and module of gear, teeth of sun gear, width of gear are considered as design variables based on mechanical transmission theory, and the optimized mathematical model of the planetary gear transmission mechanism of traction unit is established. The optimized mathematical model is solved by SQP(sequential quadratic programming) basd on Matlab program, the volume of planetary gear transmission mechanism reduces 20.22%, and the height of shearer decreases 11.3%.

A new transmission scheme for the myoelectric prosthetic hand is proposed and establishes its 3D parametric model. In order to improve the transmission efficiency and reduce vibration、noise and shock in the situation of the smallest volume. Meanwhile considering the time-varying meshing stiffness of gear pair, lateral vibration, longitudinal vibration and the vibration along the meshing line direction of sun gear and planetary gear, the dynamic analysis model of dual output planetary gear transmission mechanism for the myoelectric prosthetic hand is established. By analyzing the dynamic model, the dynamic characteristics, dynamic response and dynamic load of system are obtained, which lays a foundation for dynamic design of the myoelectric prosthetic hand further.

The half-direct-drive transmission is conducted for the transmission system of tidal current power stations using a small speed-up ratio of planetary gearbox between turbine and generator. A design model is developed for the optimization of the planetary gear transmission system. And a mixed genetic algorithm is applied on the basis of fundamentals of genetic algorithm to carry out the optimization. From the example calculation, a better design scheme is obtained by the optimization.
