<p><em>An attempt has been made in presenting a broad overview of Spiritualism and Ethics in Business and their Role in Stress Management of Managers in Corporate Sector, involving Economic and Financial Resources. Emphasis of the role of Bhagavat Gita and Christian Spirituality on stress management has been outlined. Ideas and statements of great Management Gurus in support of the use of Spiritualism and Ethics in Business, and their Role in Stress Management of Managers have been discussed. An expression has been suggested to relate spirituality factor of the manager and his stress. It is felt that the paper should be of good utility for the managers to reduce their stress level, and hence improve their performance, along with creating a good environment at the work place.</em><em></em></p>

AbstrakMenyusui adalah naluri manusia yang berkaitan dengan kehamilan, namun demikian pemerintah Indonesia perlu melindungi ibu dan bayi dengan menerbitkan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 33 Tahun 2012. Kebijakan ini memandatkan seluruh pihak termasuk pemerintah daerah, lembaga layanan kesehatan, tenaga medis, dan produsen susu formula agar mendukung pemenuhan periode laktasi (menyusui). Dengan menggunakan pendekatan keamanan manusia, penelitian ini hendak menganalisis apa yang menjadi pertimbangan pemerintah Indonesia dalam menerbitkan PP yang berkaitan dengan aspek kesehatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data dan informasi diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan kajian literatur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan PP No.33/2012 dikeluarkan sebagai bentuk komitmen pemerintah untuk mencapai target MDGs terkait jaminan kesehatan ibu dan anak. Adapun kendala dalam penerapan kebijakan ini berasal dari kasus ibu bekerja yang pada umumnya terbatas waktu menyusui, beban pikiran, dan kurangnya fasilitas pojok laktasi di tempat kerja. Tayangan iklan susu formula melalui berbagai ruang publik turut meyakinkan para ibu terhadap manfaat susu formula sehingga menggantikan peran ASI. Selain itu, kurangnya pengetahuan tentang menyusui dari ibu dan keluarga juga menjadi tantangan kesuksesan pemenuhan periode menyusui.Kata Kunci: menyusui, MDGs, kebijakan AbstractBreastfeed is a matter of human nature and maternity, but Indonesian government needs to legitimate and protect the right of mother and baby by establish Government Policy No. 33/2012. It mandated the role of local government, health service institututions, medical expertist, and instan milk producers to support the breastfeed period. This research questioned why the Indonesian Government establish the health policy in dealing with breastfeeding obligation that it sounds crucial problem regarding the human security perspective. This research used qualitative method. Data and information obtained from observation, literature review, and deep interview. This policy is the one of Indonesian committment to achieve MDGs target to ensure mother and baby’s health. The obstacles of breastfeed experienced by working mother related to the problem of leisure time, stressful, and facilities in work place. The massive instan milk advertisement through mass media and public sphere are able to influence the society mindsets about the safety and goodness of instan milk for their baby. The lack of access on breastfeed education and knowledge of the mother and family become the rest.Keywords: breastfeeds, MDGs, policy

Abstract Background: The first and one of the most important chains of providing care to patients is pre-hospital emergency medical services. Personnel employed in this sector are at risk of occupational stress due to the nature of their job which can affect their health and quality of services provided to patients. Therefore, the present study was conducted to investigate the occupational stress of the personnel of disaster and emergency medical management center 115 and the role of demographic variables in 2019.Methods: This is a descriptive-analytical study. 200 medical emergency personnel of Kermanshah province were selected through stratified sampling and according to inclusion criteria. A two-part questionnaire including demographic information and HSE standard questionnaire were used for collecting data. Finally, descriptive and inferential statistics (t-test and one-way ANOVA) were used for data analysis. Significance level was considered P<0.05. Results: The mean score of total occupational stress was 3.41±0.26. The highest and the lowest stress levels related to the role dimensions was calculated (4.34±0.35) and changes (2.72±0.86). There was a significant relationship between stress level with age, marital status, educational level, type of base of work place and hours of work per month, while there was no relationship between type of employment and work experience with stress level. Conclusion: Emergency medical personnel experience a high level of occupational stress. Senior managers can use the results of similar studies to think measures to reduce the experience of employees' stress.

The retirement decision making process: the role of work and organizational context The retirement decision making process: the role of work and organizational context Gedrag & Organisatie, volume 24, November 2011, nr. 4, pp. 428-450.This article links organizational forces to individual decision making on retirement. We examine to what extent work characteristics and organizational context (organizational policies and workplace norms toward retirement) affect the (planned) retirement age of workers aged 50 and over. We use data from the NIDI Work and Retirement Panel. This is a longitudinal study among older workers of three private sector organizations and among civil servants in the Netherlands. We use information for those employees that participated in 2001 as well in 2007 (N = 1,611). The results indicate that job characteristics are associated with retirement decision making: older individuals with attractive jobs (in terms of challenge and growth) have a higher (planned) retirement age, the opposite holds for older workers with demanding jobs. Social forces in the work place are relevant as well. The results indicate that older workers in organizations with an ‘early exit culture’, where almost all co-workers take early retirement, show a low propensity to continue working. Perceived supervisor support for extending working life has the opposite effect. Workers that feel that their supervisor has a positive attitude towards working longer, have a higher (planned) retirement age.

Social networking systems blur the distinction between the private and working spheres, and users are known to use such systems both at home and at the work place, both professionally and with recreational goals. In fact, several traditional information systems have been modified in order to include social aspects. However, in the vast majority of cases, social networking platforms are used without corporate blessing, maintaining their status as feral systems. This chapter provides some background notions about theories of participation in social networks. In particular, it reviews the notion of social capital, which may be important both for the individuals that are able to accumulate large amounts and for organizations. Subsequently, it shows the role of social capital in the participation in online social networking activities, in the various cases of virtual organizations, virtual teams, and online networks of practice. Finally, it describes the present situation and some possible prospects where social elements are being increasingly introduced into more traditional business systems, such as CRMs and ERPs, with great promises and mixed initial results.
