An Edible Campus can be broadly defined as the production of food on a post-secondary institution’s campus. This research contributes to the creation of a Canadian Edible Campus Database (ECD) that can be used as a network for future collaborations within the campus sustainability community, thus creating opportunities for education, research and community engagement. The database contains information about practices, size, and origin of Edible Campuses across Canada. The database also creates a participant pool for a survey aimed at understanding the diversity of Edible Campuses. Edible Campus team members were asked to respond to questions regarding the goals, barriers and benefits for their food production initiatives. It is the finding of this research that Edible Campuses often exceed beyond ‘greening the school’ by demonstrating sustainability through the physical structure, teaching practice, research, and relationships with people and nature.

With the rapid development of science and technology, cultivating primary school students' computational thinking ability is one of the most important tasks in contemporary education. Visual programming is closely related to computational thinking. Based on expounding their connotations and characteristics, this paper first analyzes the problems existing in the training of primary school students' computational thinking, then further constructs the training mode of primary school students' computational thinking based on visual programming and conducts classroom teaching practice research, finally puts forward suggestions on the training of primary school students' computational thinking based on visual programming, and provides effective practical guidance for training primary school students' computational thinking ability, innovation and problem-solving ability.

This paper studies the different conceptual approaches that have had the concept of sustainability, for screening at the completion of a proposed sustainable processes engineering of manufacturing as epistemological identity field. This proposal would allow the articulation of an evolutionary form of the potential driver of innovation in teaching practice, research and engineering business of Manufacturing Processes in sustainable social, economic and natural ecosystems. As the deployment proposal that can take innovation in teaching in regards to educational provision, structure and content of the curriculum in professional and university levels, in research programs and explore new business lines.

Teaching and learning observations (henceforth ‘observations’) are used in educational environments worldwide to assess teaching quality and support professional development through reflexivity. Pressures from neo-liberalist, New Right politics encourage observations that are evaluative in nature, thereby over-emphasising quantitative strategies. Research suggests some observations are ineffectual because of emotional tensions between what is perceived as ‘authentic’ teaching and the inherent performativity required by managerialist policies ( Ball 2003 ). But as Scheff (2003) argues, conformity to social processes is not necessarily based on an individual's awareness of explicit rewards or sanctions resulting from judgements. Instead it can be based on invisible self-perceptions of the risk of shame. In turn, this discourages playfulness as these actions may be considered deviations from ‘best practice’. Hence observations can limit teacher effectiveness because they involve interpretations and judgements by an Other ( Price 2001 ). This article draws on narrative data from tertiary-sector staff in a UK research study using a multi-disciplinary interpretive framework ( Denzin 1989 ). Given the importance attributed to reflexivity in teaching practice, research in this area is sparse. Emotional factors within these contexts are often disregarded, perhaps because articulating feelings is considered weak or dangerous ( Lupton 1998 ). However, Bourdieu's theoretical concepts of professional habitus, field and capital bring deeper meaning to interpretations of teachers’ embodied emotional labour ( Colley 2006 a; Nias 1996 ; Reay 2004 ). The subtle nuance within the participants’ narratives illuminates the observer/observee dynamic within the classroom, providing examples of the complex, fluid nature of perceptions of performativity in observations; the inherent rewards and risks.

Motivasi guru memainkan peranan yang penting sebagai persediaan menjadi guru sebelum melangkah ke dunia realiti sebagai seorang pendidik. Tiga aspek yang disentuh berkaitan motivasi guru pelatih iaitu intrinsik, altruistik dan ekstrinsik. Manakala persepsi guru pelatih dilihat menerusi perspektif pengalaman, pengetahuan dan pembelajaran sepanjang menjalani latihan mengajar. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti tahap motivasi guru pelatih dan persepsi guru pelatih terhadap latihan mengajar setelah menjalani latihan mengajar serta hubungan antara pembolehubah tersebut. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Seramai 80 orang pelajar terlibat sebagai responden merupakan pelajar Sarjana Muda di Fakulti Pendidikan Teknikal dan Vokasional (FPTV) yang mempunyai pengalaman dalam latihan mengajar. Instrumen kajian berbentuk soal selidik digunakan dalam mengumpul data. Data kajian dianalisa secara deskriptif dan inferensi menggunakan skor min, sisihan piawai dan korelasi Pearson. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan guru pelatih mempunyai tahap motivasi yang tinggi sewaktu menjalani Latihan Mengajar. Persepsi guru pelatih terhadap latihan mengajar pula menunjukkan nilai min yang tinggi. Terdapat hubungan yang positif yang kuat antara motivasi dengan persepsi guru pelatih setelah selesai menjalani latihan mengajar. Persepsi guru pelatih terhadap latihan mengajar sedikit sebanyak mempengaruhi tahap motivasi guru-guru tersebut. Kepentingan menjaga momentum motivasi adalah penting agar sesi latihan mengajar tersebut dapat berjalan lancar dan guru pelatih terus kekal positif untuk menjalani latihan mengajar.   Teacher motivation plays an important role as the preparation before entering the real world as educators. There are three aspects related to the motivation of trainee teachers, namely intrinsic, altruistic and extrinsic. While the perception of trainee teachers is seen through the perspective of experience, knowledge and learning throughout the teaching practice. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of motivation of trainee teachers and the perception of the trainee teachers towards teaching practice and also the relationship between both variables. This study was conducted through a quantitative approach. A total of 80 students involved as respondents are Bachelor students in the Faculty of Technical and Vocational Education (FPTV) who have experience in teaching practice. Research instruments in the form of questionnaires were used in collecting data. The data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using mean scores, standard deviations, and Pearson correlations. The analysis of the data shows that the trainee teachers have high motivation level throughout the teaching practice. The trainee teachers' perceptions towards teaching practice show a high mean score value. There is a strong positive relationship between motivation and the perception of trainee teachers after undergoing teaching practice. Trainee teachers' perceptions towards teaching practice to some extent affect the level of motivation of these teachers. The importance of maintaining motivational momentum is a crucial part in order to make sure the teaching practice runs smoothly, and trainee teachers always are positive towards the teaching practice.

Research relevance: the issues of organizing and conducting teaching practice at Osh State University are relevant in connection with the increase and improvement of teachers and students educational activities in general. Research objectives: to reveal the goals, objectives, content and criteria for assessing adaptation, vocational-base and vocational-profile practice. Research materials and methods: the article construction based on analysis of educational standards on pedagogical practice, on the main goals and objectives definition in adaptational-pedagogical practice. Research results: experience of organizing and conducting pedagogical practice can be theoretically and practically useful for several pedagogical universities. Conclusions: based on specialties specifics, methodological departments of pedagogical faculties have developed educational methodological complexes and syllabuses for each type of pedagogical practice.
