Today, the internet is in contact with everything in the world. Since it is impossible to think of production and logistics separately, Industry 4.0 is expected to redefine business processes in the logistics sector. The main purpose of the study; It is to reveal the innovations it will bring to the logistics sector by examining the Industry 4.0 revolution in detail, which contributes to the development of the logistics management This study, which was prepared as a conceptual framework, was supported by a survey study to raise awareness about the effects of Industry 4.0 on the logistics sector and to reveal a new perspective in terms of theory and practice. In the last 15 years, the transportation/transportation activities in the sector have been carried out with a more scientific and contemporary perspective, increasing the impact of logistics on transportation systems day by day and has started to play an important role in the development of Turkish foreign trade. The purpose of the study in your hand; The logistics sector, which has been developing rapidly, "Does the logistics performance of Turkey in the last 15 years, which has developed with the contribution of industry 4.0, digitalization and the internet, differ according to the descriptive characteristics of the participants and businesses?" and “How does Industry 4.0, digitalization and internet contribute to Turkey's logistics performance in the last 15 years? It is to reveal it by evaluating it with ANOVA analysis for searching the answers of the problem in the form.

The Application Service Provision (ASP) business model offers a pragmatic adoption path for inter-organizations in the Internet Age. Given this pragmatic adoption path, academics are beginning to question the following: Where are enterprises adopting ASP technology first? Why are they choosing these areas? Where will they apply the evolving Web services technology next? This chapter’s primary purposes are to point out a number of issues that concern management of inter-organizations of the Internet Age and to explore the impact of ASP on such organizations. It will examine the strategies that will enable inter-organizations to better manage ASP resources for competitive advantage. While the phenomenon of ASP is still in an embryonic stage, we draw from seminal works of IS pioneers like Markus, Porter, Checkland, Maslow, and others. Their intellectual contributions, plus findings from research work at Brunel University, provide a framework for discussion. By shedding light on patterns of ASP’s trajectory, drivers, benefits, and risks, the chapter will help managers and academics to reflect on determining where ASP—and associated technologies—might be deployed and define a broad implementation program to exploit the potential of the ASP business model. The chapter seeks to find if Web services architectures are distinctively able to enhance the flexible coordination of business processes, which span various enterprises and rely on inter-organization information systems in the Internet Age.

The industrial revolution, which took place in the 20th century, is the first step of similar developments in the ongoing centuries. In the first steps of this century, the use of steam machines in production is the first steps of a more serial and systematic production structure. With the advancing developments up to the industrial revolution or Industry 4.0, a structure quite different from the initial stage was formed. In the most general sense, the Industry 4.0 structure, defined as the internet of objects, emerges with a more systematic and self-functioning structure discourse in its production activities, but its effects are not only related to production activities. As a matter of fact, the use of Industry 4.0 at the point reached, human resources, employment, social classes, communities, and so on. It is thought to be effective on the structures. In this context, in this study, the effects of the social impacts of these processes and the ways in which Industry 4.0 can create a social structure have been explained.

This Ph.D. Thesis proposes new techniques for routing and mobility management for Internet of Things (IoT). In the future IoT, everyday mobile objects will probably be connected to the Internet. Currently, static IoT's devices have already been connected, but handle mobile devices suitably still being an open issue in IoT context. Then, solutions for routing mobility detection, handover, and mobility management are proposed through an algorithm that integrates Machine Learning (ML) and mobility metrics to figure out devices' mobility events, which we named Dribble. Also, an IPv6 hierarchical routing protocol named Mobile Matrix to boost efficient (memory and fault tolerance) end-to-end connectivity over mobility scenarios. The Thesis contributions are supported by numerous peer-reviewed publications in national and international conferences and journals included in ISI-JCR. Also, the applicability of this Thesis is evident by showing that our results overcome state-of-the-art in static and mobile scenarios, as well as, the impact of the proposed solutions is a step forward in at least two new research areas so-called Internet of Mobile Things (IoMT) and Social IoT, where devices move around and do social ties respectively. Moreover, during the Ph.D. degree, the author has contributed to different computer network fields rather than routing by publishing in areas like social networks, smart cities, intelligent transportation systems, software-defined networks, and parallel computing.

Research background: Industry 4.0 is a response to rapid technical progress, caused by the dominant role of information technology, which covers and penetrates virtually into all the aspects of people's economic and social activities. At present, the terms “Digital Supply Chain”, “Supply Chain 4.0”, “Digital logistics”, and “Smart logistics” are widely used in business, and in particular, in the theory and practice of supply chain management (SCM). This demonstrates the relevance of the implementation of Industry 4.0 innovations into the practical activities of manufacturing, trading, and logistics companies, interconnected by networking in the process of delivering products or services to final consumers. In turn, this causes fundamental changes in the structure of supply chains, their business processes and behaviours, making existing approaches to management obsolete. Purpose of the article: The article aims at identifying supply chain development drivers under the conditions of ‘Industry 4.0’; determining the effect of DT in the cross-section of strategic and operational changes of supply chain; clarifying the readiness and capacity for DT implementation in the enterprises activity as exemplified by the enterprises operating in Ukraine in various fields of activity. Methods: Stratified proportional sampling was applied as the research method. Ukrainian enterprises of different size, involved in different supply chains, were considered as an object of research. The attitude of the Ukrainian enterprises to the DT implementation is presented, and the results are compared to the relevant research data in other countries. Findings & Value: This study will be valuable to both scientists and practitioners. Scientists will be able to understand the conceptual transformation of SC under the influence of DT. Practitioners will become aware of the following issues: current SCM trends and requirements; DT effects on the strategic and operational levels of the classical model of management; the level of readiness and ability of the Ukrainian enterprises to implement DT in their activities as compared to the enterprises in other countries.

The existing business models essential for the creation of consumer value and, consequently, business competitiveness are now undergoing a transformation. Brand-new technological developments based on network integration, intelligent technology and flexible automation are becoming increasingly relevant: additional competitive opportunities appear, and knowledge management and intellectual capital management are becoming key business processes. When developing a strategic vision, it is important for companies to pick the relevant data out of the information flow about the external and internal environment and convert it into organizational knowledge, which is a core management resource. The paper analyses the experience of Russian and foreign companies in the introduction of scalable models focused on the widespread use of Industry 4.0 and establishes the principles and strategies of knowledge management that allow these companies to maintain their competitive positions in a strategic perspective. The theory of knowledge management and resource approach constitute the methodological framework of the present study. The general scientific methods of logical-structural analysis and systematization, as well as the contingency case study method were applied. The information base encompasses the case studies of six companies, retrieved from publicly available sources. The findings of the empirical research prove the feasibility of applying a situational approach to knowledge management: companies use different strategies for accumulating and sharing knowledge according to their maturity level and the area of implementation of Industry 4.0. Based on the results obtained, the authors develop a situational approach to the strategic knowledge management of companies that successfully apply the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The theoretical and practical significance of the study lies in identifying common approaches to knowledge management under various conditions, which can be used to create the strategic vision of managers involved in the key decision-making process in companies.

The development and widespread adoption of digital economy in the last two decades inevitably had strong impact on the theory and practice of marketing. Under the influence of e-Commerce the form and content of marketing has changed. Today we can talk about the formation of a new field of study – Internet marketing. However, even in the European literature, the description of Internet marketing is fragmentary, Russian authors often do not consider Internet marketing as an independent direction in marketing. This article describes the role of e-Commerce in the economy. The author considers the role of e-Commerce in the world economy and in the economy of individual countries. About 10% of world trade is already carried out via the Internet, in some countries (China, Japan, the UK) the share of e-Commerce in GDP is more than 20%. The growth rate of e-Commerce is also impressive – 30% per year. The Russian e-Commerce market and the Chinese e-Commerce market are analyzed separately. The author highlights the fact that e-Commerce has made a great contribution to the development of China’s economy. Internet marketing in the article is considered as an integral part of e-Commerce, fully responsible for all the interaction of the company and the external environment through the Internet. Basing on the research of some writers, the author concludes that Internet marketing is advisable to study as an independent scientific discipline. The article identifies and investigates the main changes that have occurred in marketing under the influence of e-Commerce: 1) change of marketing orientation from goods to customers; 2) multi-channel approach to promotion; 3) mobility; 4) adaptability and interactivity of marketing; 5) significant increase in audience coverage.

Sustainable tourism quality control tools (QCTs) are voluntary mechanisms that translate sustainable tourism concepts into practice. While essential to sustainable tourism practice, the most recent depiction of their diversity occurred in the early 2000s and identified just four types and one variability parameter. Reviewing and synthesizing the extant literature, this study identifies 15 types of QCTs, each possessing numerous variations, and seven critical variability parameters. Together these constitute the new “QCT multiverse.” This contemporary perspective on QCT diversity facilitates engagement with sustainable tourism by indicating the more comprehensive array of practices available for destination practitioners and managers.
