One of the competencies that must be possessed in the 21st century is digital literacy skills. This ability must be possessed by every student and lecturer in integrating digital platforms into learning, especially in the current pandemic era. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of a digital platform in its application to practical courses. Researchers use google classroom as a sample of the many types of digital platforms. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using a case study approach. The object of this research were 26 active students who took music ensemble courses, while the variable being investigated was the use of google classroom in learning. Data collection was carried out by means of questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The results show that digital platforms can be used as an alternative solution to carry out online learning in the midst of a pandemic. However, it is not optimal for the music ensemble course because of several factors, including the location of the student's residence which is difficult to get a signal, material that students find difficult, the availability of their own musical instruments, and the student's ability to play music.

The study aimed to unearth the reasons that influence university students to plagiarize assignments. A phenomenological case study approach was adopted. Sixty-seven participants were selected from the Faculty of Education of a public university, located in Karachi, Pakistan. They took part in semi-structured interviews. The obtained data were analyzed through thematic analysis. Findings uncovered that most participants lacked a deep understanding of different types of academic plagiarism, and practical skills to evade it. Prevalent sources of information for preparing assignments included websites followed by research papers, e-books, and project reports, without verifying quality. The most common reasons that have influenced research students to plagiarize assignments included weak language and academic writing skills, easy access to online resources, conventional assignments, inadequate digital literacy, short time-frame, and challenge to balance personal, professional, and academic life. In conclusion, plagiarism is a conscious act coupled with indirect pressures scattered by academia. It is recommended to promote the culture of academic honesty among learners. In this regard, courses on preventing plagiarism, digital literacy, academic reading, and research writing should be integrated as a pre-requisite for a postgraduate research degree. It is also proposed to help learners embracing conscious networking skills and ownership of learning. Furthermore, contextual information literacy and plagiarism framework should be introduced.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the opportunities and challenges of the potential dark tourism of Lapindo Mud, as well as to find out the practice of Lapindo Mud dark tourism because of the many irregularities that the authors found when conducting research. The methodology used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. In-depth interviews with Lapindo mud victims, the Lapindo Mud Control Center observation, and documentation. The Opportunity of Lapindo Mud dark tourism is the tourist motivation for visiting Lapindo Mud is not to admire the natural beauty and take a vacation, but there is a spiritual and sympathetic sense of tourists interspersed with pain and even anger towards tragic stories caused by nature or human crimes to be unique. Some facts make challenges for this dark tourism; namely, management is carried out spontaneously or without planning. The focus of this study is indeed narrow, but the findings provide theoretical and practical insights into the conceptualization of dark tourism by analyzing opportunities and challenges related to the potential of dark tourism in Lapindo Mud. Thus, the understanding of this phenomenon can be improved and can be used to add knowledge and reference material for further research. An ethnographic case study approach to understanding women’s actions and reactions to husbands’ emigration—or potential emigration—offers a distinct set of challenges to a U.S.-based researcher.  International migration research in a foreign context likely offers challenges in language, culture, lifestyle, as well as potential gender norm impediments. A mixed methods approach contributed to successfully overcoming barriers through an array of research methods, strategies, and tactics, as well as practicing flexibility in data gathering methods. Even this researcher’s influence on the research was minimized and alleviated, to a degree, through ascertaining common ground with many of the women. Research with the women of San Juan Guelavía, Oaxaca, Mexico offered numerous and constant challenges, each overcome with ensuing rewards.

Public Relations of the Bandung Regency Government realizes that its area has a lot of potential for various local wisdom and has a heterogeneous society. This study aims to explore and analyze the values of local knowledge in developing public relations strategies in the government of Bandung Regency, West Java province. This study uses a constructivist interpretive (subjective) paradigm through a case study approach. The results showed that the Bandung Regency Government runs its government based on local wisdom. Bandung Regency Public Relations utilizes local insight and the region's potential to develop a public relations strategy to build and maintain a positive image of Bandung Regency. The impact of this research is expected to become a source of new scientific references in the development of public relations strategies in every region of Indonesia, which is very rich with various philosophies.Humas Pemerintah Kabupaten Bandung menyadari wilayahnya memiliki banyak potensi kearifan lokal yang beragam, serta memiliki masyarakatnya yang heterogen. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggali dan menganalisis nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam pengembangan strategi kehumasan di pemerintahan Kabupaten Bandung provinsi Jawa Barat.  Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma interpretif (subjektif) konstruktivis melalui pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Bandung menjalankan pemerintahannya berlandaskan pada kearifal lokal. Humas Pemkab Bandung memanfaatkan kearifan lokal dan potensi wilayahnya untuk mengembangkan strategi humas dalam membangun dan mempertahankan citra positif Kabupaten Bandung.Dampak penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi sumber rujukan ilmiah baru dalam pengembangan strategi kehumasan di setiap daerah Indonesia yang sangat kaya dengan beragam filosofi.

Self-stigma experienced by people who experience schizophrenia has influence on reduced self-esteem, on powerlessness, the weakening of hope, and a motivation towards recovery. The aim of this study is to explain the efforts of people suffering schizophrenia to manage their self-stigma through self-control, using a case study approach. Based on the purposive sampling technique, five people with schizophrenia were selected as the cases to be studied. Data collection techniques utilized in-depth interviews, observation, and documentary studies. The analysis of the study data employed the stages of data reduction, data display, and data verification. Improvement in study quality employed the triangulation of data sources by checking the data to determine its consistency. The results of this study indicate that people with schizophrenia who have the ability to self-control can overcome self-stigma through changes in the manner of viewing themselves, self-training through activities, having endurance, having an honest approach, being able to explain schizophrenia from a positive viewpoint, having initiative, and having a positive attitude and the courage to face challenges.
