The present study investigates the effects of burnout toward job performance and job satisfaction with a moderating role of hope and self-efficacy. Findings from 310 frontline employees of Pakistani commercial bank (Lahore, Karachi & Islamabad), showed burnout has a significant negative effect on job performance and job satisfaction. A simple random sampling technique was used to collect data, and inferential statistics were applied to analyze the data. However, results disclose no moderation effect of hope on burnout and job performance or with job satisfaction. But, data significantly support the moderation effect of self-efficacy. The moderation effect was analyzed by the moderation process of Preacher, Rucker, & Hayes, (2007). The study further sheds light on the development of psychological capital, and the importance of the implication of the current finding is discussed. This study will help top management and trainers to understand so they can manage burnout issues on frontline employees for better performance and employee satisfaction.

Applying the conservation of resource resources theory and the self-efficacy theory, this study investigates the relationship between supervisor incivility, self-efficacy, cynicism and the job embeddedness of employees in the hotel industry. The role of self-efficacy, as an important variable that mediates the relationship between the predictor and the criterion variable, is significantly evaluated. A non-probability sampling technique was used to collect 245 questionnaires from frontline employees of five and four-star hotels in Nigeria. The findings reveal that supervisor incivility has a negative effect on self-efficacy and a positive effect on cynicism, and that self-efficacy negatively affects cynicism. There was no significant relationship with job embeddedness in the study.  Importantly, the investigation establishes that self-efficacy is a mediating variable between supervisor incivility and cynicism. The study noted the importance of adopting a policy that introduces periodic seminars and professional training for both employees and supervisors, as a means for curbing incivility and cynicism. The study concludes with theoretical and practical implications, leaving room for further investigation

In today’s organizational environment, human resources are seen to be one of the most crucial assets that must be maintained, particularly the existence of employees’ proactive behavior, which is needed for the sustainability of organizational performance. One factor, which may affect the employees’ proactive behavior, is organizational politics. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to investigate the effect of organizational politics on proactive behavior of government employees and to test further whether this effect was moderated by self-efficacy. This study used a quantitative approach with an exploratory method to answer the proposed hypothesis. The samples were 310 local government employees in Bandung district, Cimahi City, Bandung City, and West Bandung Regency, Indonesia. For processing the data and testing the hypotheses, this research employed Moderated Regression Analysis by using STATA 13. The results showed that organizational politics has a negative effect on the proactive behavior of government employees, and the moderation effect of self-efficacy can weaken the negative relationship between organizational politics and proactive behavior. The study, therefore, makes a valuable contribution regarding the additional evidence to the organization within this field.

Objective – This study investigates the mediation role of job satisfaction in the relationship between work stress and turnover intention. A study about turnover intention in the textile company is still rarely done in Indonesia. This study can fill the gap regarding the topic. Methodology/Technique – A nonprobability sampling method with an accidental sampling technique was used, and we get 110 usable responses from a textile company in West Java, Indonesia. Macro Process with SPSS was used to measure the regression and the mediation. Findings – The study found that work stress has a negative effect on job satisfaction. Work stress significantly related to turnover intention in a positive direction. Job satisfaction did not have a significant relation with turnover intention. Thus, in this study, we found no mediation role in job satisfaction. Novelty – Evidently, work stress solely took part in shaping the turnover intention. Type of Paper: Empirical. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan efikasi diri terhadap kepuasan kerja guru di SMP Yayasan Budi Mulia Lourdes Jakarta. Metodologi penelitian adalah survei yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. The purpose of this study is to investigate the job performance of Malaysian academic institutions in the presence of managerial competency, self-efficacy and learning orientation with the mediating role of entrepreneurial leadership. This is a quantitative study and random sampling technique was used. 200 sample size was taken from the Universiti Utara Malaysia and Universiti of Technology Malaysia. For the data collection 5-point Likert scale was used and PLS-SEM version 3 was used to analyze the data. Findings of this study showed that managing competency, self-efficacy and learning orientation put a very positive effect on the job performance of Malaysian academic institutes along with the role of entrepreneurial leadership which has also emerged pretty much significant in ensuring the higher level of job performance.

This study investigated the influence of emotional intelligence, interpersonal communication and job satisfaction on the job performance of staff in Chevron Nigeria Limited, Warri. Four null hypotheses guided the study. The correlation research design was adopted in the study. A sample of 400 was selected by the researchers using simple random sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection was a validated and reliable questionnaire. Regression statistics was used to test the stated null hypotheses, at 0.05 level of significance. The findings in the study showed that the four null hypotheses were rejected which is an indication that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence, interpersonal communication, job satisfaction and job performance of staff in Chevron Nigeria Limited.

This research was conducted to analyze the influence of internal service quality on job performance, analyze the influence of job satisfaction on job performance, and analyze the influence of internal service quality and job satisfaction on job performance at The Ritz-Carlton Bali. Questionnaires as the data collection technique were distributed to employees at The Ritz-Carlton Bali as the respondents. The total samples were 85 respondents which identified using simple random sampling technique and Slovin formula as sampling technique. The measurements of this research used a Likert scale. The methods of data analysis used were classic assumption testing, coefficient determination, hypothesis test, and testing by SPSS version 24. The results of data analysis indicated that internal service quality has a positive and significant effect on job performance at The Ritz-Carlton Bali as proven by the value of tcount (3,259) > ttabel (1,663).  Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on job performance at The Ritz-Carlton Bali as proven by the value of tcount 2,742 > ttabel (1,663). and Internal service quality and job satisfaction simultaneously have a contributing is 5,21% through to the job performance. While the other remaining 4,79% is influenced by the other variable studied in this research.
