Abstract: This research is based on the thought of a saint, St. Benedict, contained in a rule made in the context of monastery, the Rule of St. Benedict. This rule has shaped the spiritual life of God's people for dozens of centuries. The strong emphasis on the balance of ora et labora, prayer and work, made this pattern relevant till date. This rule is also used as an approach to the forming of the patterns of spiritual formation in seminaries. Theological education is closely related to the growth of God's people. Thus, seminary as one model of theological education needs to have a good pattern related to the spiritual formation of everyone in it. The condition of seminaries in the present era with a tendency to show more attention to academic formation than to spiritual formation can cause imbalance in the life of seminarians. The Rule of St. Benedict can be a reference model so that seminaries can carry out a balanced theological education process to ensure that the academic quality exists as a part of the wholistic spiritual life. Keywords: ora et labora, seminary, spiritual formation, the Rule of St. Benedict. Kata-kata kunci: ora et labora, seminari, formasi spiritual, The Rule of St. Benedict.

In the recent literature on formation in online theological education, a number of thematic strands can be delineated: the apologetic, didactic, pedagogical, empirical, and geographical strands. However, apart from the early apologetic stage of the discussion theological reflection plays a minor role in the literature. In this article, I argue that theology plays a limited and superficial role in contemporary writings about formation in online theological education. Yet, spiritual formation in online theological education needs theological grounding. Given the accelerated shift to forms of online education across the world, such theological grounding is an urgent task. In this renewed theological engagement, three areas especially call for sustained attention: (1) the multi-faceted nature of spiritual formation; (2) the question of agency in spiritual formation and the consequences for the theological curriculum; and (3) engagement with theological traditions that offer ample material to guide our contemporary thinking about spiritual formation.

The problem of history and the development of national theological education is one of the most urgent in our time. This is the sphere of the spiritual life of a human society that is constantly undergoing reform. Therefore, the study of the history of theological education, when it was due to the specificity of historical events in the pan-European space, in particular the territory of Bukovina in the late XIX - early XX century, require a more specific study than it was today.

Citizenship education is an integral part of the national education system. Therefore the civic education process needs to be addressed in the curriculum and learning on all paths and levels of education.Functions and roles in the context of achieving national educational objectives, civic education are designed, developed, implemented and evaluated in the context of the embodiment of national education objectives. They are the foundation and frame of mind for understanding and applying civic education.Citizenship education is a very urgent need for the nation in building a safe, comfortable, peaceful, prosperous life.In building a civilized democracy, it needs a generation of intelligent, strong-minded nation. There are several reasons why civic education is urgently needed, firstly, the rise in political literacy and not political literacy and not knowing the workings of democracy and its institutions;Secondly, the increased politichal apathism is demonstrated by the lack of citizen involvement in political processes. The intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual formation of intelligent citizens is really a demand and necessity. This is where the existence of civic education becomes a very important tool for democratic countries including the state of Indonesia in order to give birth to a generation of nations who know the values of nationality based on Pancasila and have the necessary skills in transforming, actualizing and preserving everything that is owned by NKRI.

Music's ability to animate a range of expressive nuances between the tangible and the intangible, and to play many different roles in spiritual life, are but two reasons why artists with mystical inclinations often choose it over other media. The composer George Tsontakis (born 1951 in Astoria, New York, of Cretan origins) writes music that frequently explores mystical themes both directly and more obliquely. The goal of this – the first major journal article on his work – is to touch upon important attributes of that language and its development by comparing two recent works, both of which have been released in première recordings in the last year. Violin Concerto No. 2 (2003) and Man of Sorrows (2005), written within a two-year period, both belong to the concerto genre. (Although it does not bear the word ‘concerto’ in its title, Man of Sorrows is a large-scale work for piano soloist and orchestra). Despite their remarkable differences, both works represent a recent ‘crystallization’ of Tsontakis's musical language, as shown in the outstanding impact that they have made in the international sphere, and in their ability to appeal to both cognoscenti and lay people alike.
