Strategic management is essential in an organization from the identification of exogenous and endogenous factors to define its actions. The article shows a strategic management model for the commercial area of an insurance company in a branch in Colombia, based on the analysis of the shortcomings exposed by the company, to strategically structure and manage the commercial area with a perspective to increase sales and improve its local market share.

The study aimed to reveal the effect of strategic management in achieving excellence among the leaders working in Al-Quds insurance company. The researcher used the descriptive approach, and the study sample consisted of (80) leaders working in Al-Quds Insurance company. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used a questionnaire to measure strategic management, and a questionnaire To measure the achievement of excellence, both of which were prepared by the researcher, and the study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: that the level of strategic management applied by the leaders working in Al-Quds Insurance company (80.1%) is divided into two dimensions: after the strategic direction, it got the first place with a relative weight (82). %), and after developing human capital, it ranked second with a relative weight of (78.6%), while the level of achieving excellence by the leaders working in Al-Quds Insurance company reached (79.1%). The study also revealed a relationship between the total degree of strategic management and the Achieving excellence among the leaders working in Al Quds insurance company, and it was found that there is a significant impact of the overall degree of the strategic management scale on the satisfaction of the beneficiaries in the company. Al-Quds Insurance company, and it was found that there is a significant impact of the overall degree of the strategic management scale on human resources in Al-Quds Insurance company, and the study showed that there are statistically significant differences between the degrees of strategic management among the leaders working in Al-Quds Insurance company due to the educational qualification variable in favor of the bachelor’s degree, and the study showed There were no statistically significant differences between the degrees of strategic management among the leaders working in Al-Quds Insurance company due to the variable years of experience, and the study showed the absence of statistically significant differences between the degrees of achieving excellence among the leaders working in Al-Quds Insurance company due to the variable (educational qualification, years of experience), and the researcher recommends paying attention to the development of strategic goals in the organization, and the participation of workers in building strategic goals and visions, and selecting qualified workers and employing them in positions that suit their abilities and capabilities.

The paper aims to present the strategic management model for economic development, the Feitoria Prime Market Model (FPM). The FPM identifies new markets and new products for enterprises to export their products. FPM is based in the comparative advantage concept of Ricardo (1817) and incorporates economic and political dimensions in order to avoid unstable economies. The study present a particular case, Portugal-Poland, that has the objective to find bilateral trade opportunities. The methodology presented below is configured confronting the potential trade to effectively verified among the countries and uses a trade database 2012-16 period from the UN COMTRADE free database.

This study presents a reflection on a new and resized (re)interpretation of the thermal spa sector in Portugal. Taking a holistic view of the strategic health and wellness tourism product, with the example of a case study (thermal spas in Portugal), it materialises a new proposal for a strategic management model. The study analyses the perspective of networking, which characterises a good part of the sector. Special attention is given to the training of organisations and their connection to integrated strategies to make the best use of resources, to the distinguishing orientation of preparation and placement of the tourism product on the market. The aim was to listen to thermal spa managers in Portugal regarding complementary services associated with their core offer, the partnership relationships they have with local stakeholders and what type, as well as the motivations for networking and development perspectives of the thermal spa sector in Portugal. The results presented are incorporated in this guideline to establish a competitive offer.

So far, in implementing school strategies, they tend not to utilize Information and Communication Technology (ICT), despite the availability of ICT resources available. Stages of strategic management are needed to generate the vision, mission, objectives, policy, program, budget, and procedures as well as control and evaluation process as an effort to utilize ICT to improve school quality. Based on the interpretation and the results of the study, it is concluded that schools have organized stages in strategic management that enable schools to have a quality profile. The impact of effective utilization of ICTs for schools is the achievement of effective school management, as per the National Education Standards, which is characterized by effective planning, implementation, control, and evaluation of school ICTs.The purpose of this study is to get a general description, describe, and reveal the Strategic Management of Information and Communication Technology Utilization to Improve the Quality of School Learning in Ciledug Al Musaddadiyah Vocational High School and Garut 1 Vocational High School, both on environmental analysis, strategic formulation, implementation and strategic evaluation. The research method used in this research is the case study method, because the problems studied occur in the place and situation of Ciledug Al Musaddadiyah Vocational School and Vocational High School 1 Garut. The use of case study models in this study is based on the consideration that to provide an overview of the strategic management activities of the use of ICTs carried out at vocational high schools with the ultimate goal of being able to improve the quality of school learning. Based on observations in the field of SMK 1 Garut and SMK Al Musaddadiyah Ciledug Garut is one of the public schools and private schools that have these advantages.

Children's wear clothing comprises of clothing, designed for children under the age of 14. It is a sector which despite of the pressure on disposable income, expects the market to be most resilient by volume. Parents are reluctant to cut back on Children's wear. Purchases are more need-driven and the market is value-driven, allowing for high volumes – supporting volume recovery. One major factor that will boost the Children's wear market is the current demographic trend towards higher birth rates. In 2010, the total UK market for Children's wear was valued at £5.91bn, increase by 6.5% from 2009. Further, Verdict Retail forecasts the Children's wear market to grow by meager 1.7% in 2012, underperforming total clothing due to lower inflation. This article highlights the findings of a case study on Marks & Spencer (Bond Street, London) a leading UK brand, whose market share, fell down considerably in the Children's wear Department. The suggestions and consultancy have been provided for the brand, to improve their market share in the changing and volatile environment which was once, a market leader in the Kids-wear segment in UK.
