In Estonia and Latvia, the focus on the domain of higher education as a site of linguistic tension has emerged more powerfully only in recent years. In this chapter, we show how the two sides of the Englishization of higher education (as an opportunity and as a threat) emerge discursively in two public debates that we analyse. Although the issues that are brought up in the debates take a different shape in the two countries, at a fundamental level, similar concerns are discussed. These include language relationships and linguistic hierarchies in higher education, questions on the quality of higher education, and the role of legal measures applied to manage language matters at universities.

The article outlines the conceptual framework for adapting Ukrainian higher education to the Standards and Recommendations for Quality Assurance in the European higher education area. The role of the Bologna Declaration in ensuring the quality of higher education in Europe has been explained. The conceptual foundations and the essence of standards and recommendations on quality assurance in the European higher education area have been defined. The Ukrainian realities of the adaptation of higher education of Ukraine to the educational European standards of quality have been characterized.

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of academic information systems in improving the quality of higher education implementation in PGRI STKIP Bangkalan, and the extent to which the policies of implementing higher education before and after the use of information systems and how satisfaction is felt by students towards academic information systems at STKIP PGRI Bangkalan, named STKIP PGRI Bangkalan’s Siakad.The study was conducted by conducting a survey of users of the internet-based academic information system (Siakad STKIP PGRI Bangkalan), namely lecturers, students and employees with the method of observation and conducting in-depth interviews to obtain as much information as possible from all respondents/informants. The number of informants was 5 people consisting of the chairman of STKIP PGRI Bangkalan, Vice Chairman I, Head of BAAK and two students who had experience in their respective fields of work, knew deeply and had many roles in the process of using information systems.Based on the results of the study, it was shown that with the use of the information system/ STKIP PGRI Bangkalan’s Siakad which is one of the facilities for the smooth activities of the teaching and learning process, it proved to provide convenience, many benefits and benefits that greatly support the duties of serving lecturers, students and outsiders requiring. This is evidenced by the support of the support of lecturers and students, capacity, namely the ability of employees to process data and value, namely the benefits felt by lecturers, employees and students as well as outside parties in need.

Higher Education in the post globalization knowledge economy is beset with a host of problems pertaining to quality. Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) are in a dire need of strengthening individual and institutional effectiveness in imparting higher education that meets the global quality requirements. In keeping with the current scenario of Higher Education, it is essential to understand the bi-focal role of Academic Entrepreneurship and Academic Leadership in enhancing the quality of Higher Education. The purpose of this chapter is to understand the symbiotic relation between the two and their role in enhancing the quality of higher education. It also attempts to propose an integrated framework of the Indian Higher Education System's entrepreneurial and leadership system and finally it attempts to devise or suggest strategies to be adopted by both in synchrony to act as catalysts' for Quality Higher Education.

Two questions that today's health professors should ask themselves are: Am I teaching my students in the most effective way possible to train professionals with the standards and needs demanded by today's society? Are my students memorizing facts and concepts or are they developing skills that they integrate into their personal and professional lives? In 1910 the Flexner report was published, which gave rise to the first reforms that sought to establish innovations in the education of health professionals, but the great revolution in world education arose from a study published by Barr and Tagg in 1995 where they stressed the importance of changing the paradigm of education centered on content to a new paradigm where education is centered on learning; Thus, in 1998, within the framework of the World Conference on Higher Education, UNESCO expressed the need to update higher education, bringing it closer to the current challenges of society, and in response to this request, in 1999, several European countries signed the Bologna agreement that seeks to improve the quality of higher education by creating the European Higher Education Area.

The concept of knowledge management has acquired significance recently for its relevance to the concept of total information management. This study aimed to investigate the role of knowledge management in ensuring quality of higher education in Al-Quds University from the viewpoint of academics. To achieve this objective, the descriptive, analytical method was followed. (150) academics were randomly selected for the study from Al-Quds University during 2019/2020. A questionnaire was developed based on previous studies; and after checking its reliability and validity, it was used to collect data. The data was analyzed by using SPSS to conduct statistical procedures, including T-test and ANOVA. Major findings revealed that there was a positive role for Operations management knowledge in quality assurance, and the academics' assessment regarding knowledge management and quality assurance practice was medium. The independent variables (knowledge creation, knowledge sharing, application and generation of knowledge) combined had a positive effect on the dependent variable (achieving quality of higher education at Al-Quds University). It was also found that there was a positive effect for the knowledge sharing variable. In other words, the higher the level of knowledge management is, the greater the achievement of the quality of higher education at Al-Quds University is. The independent variables (gender, academic rank, college) had an impact on the dependent variable (achieving the quality of higher education at Al-Quds University). It was found that there was a positive effect for the academic rank variable, and a negative effect for the college variable, which means that the higher the academic rank is, moving towards science colleges, the more the quality of higher education at Al-Quds University will be, which means knowledge management helps in achieving the quality of higher education. The study recommended the need to raise the efficiency of knowledge management processes at Al-Quds University because of its role in achieving higher education quality. keywords: management knowledge, quality of higher education, Al-Quds university.

   The research aims to identify the level of strategic leadership and quality of higher education, and testing the relationship of correlation and influence between strategic leadership and quality of higher education, The research problem was the role of strategic leadership in the quality of higher education of Diyala University. The questionnaire was used as a data collection tool, distributed to 30 forms as a sample for research, analyzed using the SPSS program, For the purpose of testing research hypotheses. The research found a correlation and an impact between strategic leadership and quality of higher education. The research ended with a set of recommendations that it is hoped will benefit the concerned.

The study aimed to determine the role of strategic leadership components in achieving the quality of higher education dimensions in private universities in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, the field side has been developed a model that based on a set of assumptions to teste field study which includes (4) private universities as population of research, and the questionnaire was a key for data collection, and were answered by (79) of administrative leadership in universities population. statistical tools have been used to analyze the nature of the correlation between the variables of the study, as well as analysis of simple linear regression to determine the nature of the impact between the variables of the study, and the study found a significant positive correlation relationship between the strategic entrepreneurship and the quality of higher education in the study population, and there are significant effect of strategic entrepreneurship in achieving the dimensions of the quality of higher education in the study population, the study made a number of proposals concerning universities study population and how to raise the standards of quality of higher education to benefit from the synrgy of the strategic entrepreneurship.
