The formation of the grape growing area of Jundiaí was influenced by Italian immigration and the diffusion of cultivar Isabella. After 1930, the coffee economy crisis, the destructuring of the large monoculture property and the emergence of the Niagara Rosada cultivar allowed for the specialization of the Jundiaí grape growing agglomeration. The diffusion of this cultivar characterized the physiognomy of the regional vineyard with the practice of the “espalier” conduction system, and developed the intangible heritage based on the religious character of the cultural manifestations and harvest celebrations. Currently, urban and industrial expansion provides negative externalities of the geographic proximity between the diverse uses of the agricultural space, a fact that imposes threats to the sustainability of the traditional grape growing activities. This work is based on the hypothesis that the Geographical Indication of the Niagara Rosada grape presupposes governance among the agents and constitutes a project of valuation of the traditional landscape and the cultural heritage, in order to contribute to adding value to the grape and to territorial development. The specific resources, even outside the market sphere, can contribute to the commercial valuation of the Niagara Rosada grape and wealth generation beyond the classic notion of “productivity”.

In this article, we socialize some reflections we made the last fifteen years on the territory-development relationship, considering some classic and more recent works of foreign and Brazilian authors. We try to produce a synthesis that can serve as a theoretical and conceptual guidance for those working with this theme, as the basis for research and for our work on projects and territorial development processes of local and ecological basis. Therefore, we work the interface between research and extension, called by us as cooperation focused on development, in the specific case of this text, to be built in institutionalization processes of geographical indication from the heritage of each territory and the decision-making autonomy.

The present work discusses Geographical Indications, which have increasingly grown in Brazil, becoming of extreme importance for territorial development. With this in mind, this work is aimed at establishing a centrality indicator for municipalities, capable of contributing for Geographical indication, based on the development on the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of services for promoting local development. The measurement of centrality adopted in this work is based on the arrangement of GDP data on services, according to the Central Place Theory, in which cities are hierarchically organised and some services are only provided by more relevant locations. The database used for assessing the levels of centrality of municipalities were divided into four different groups: participation of the gross value added of services, excluding public administration on the gross value at total current prices; in the state level; in the microregion; in the country. The analysis observed simple structure averages to operationalise the hierarchical ruler, having established that the best route concerned attributing weighting coefficients to the group of indicators through a linear combination algorithm. It is important to point out that the most important tool considered included the Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Accordingly, it was established that a location is an important territory with what concerns the spatial contour, with the service sector (excluding the public service) having an impact on local economy. Therefore, the registration of a Geographical Indication may promote economic development, attributed to the increase in local production, demand and greater added value and, consequently, an upsurge in the generation of jobs and wealth, having a relevant impact in the notoriety of the region.

ABSTRACT: The study of Family Planning, in the context of bioethics, opens to diverse perspectives, among them the appreciation of their different agents. The article is devoted to the theoretical foundations and analysis of the experience of subjects of the Russian Federation in the field of regional development risk management. The article examines the concept of risk, its difference and relationship with the concepts of uncertainty, threat, danger, security and others. It is determined that dangers are constantly present in the regional economy. And risk, as a measurable uncertainty with multiple outcomes, for which the probability of occurrence of a risk event is calculated, is manifested as a result of the occurrence of a hazard. When comparing the concepts of risk and security, this means that the security of the regional economy is manifested in the ability to resist threats and manage risks, and not in the complete absence of dangers. It is revealed that ISO standards distinguish between the concepts of risk management and risk management. For further discussion, risk management is understood as a systematic approach to using the full range of mechanisms available to public authorities to reduce emerging risks and threats to the socio-economic development of the region. Further, the analysis of risk management in the practice of regional management on the example of the Omsk, Novosibirsk and Tyumen regions is carried out. The relevant tools in the activities of government bodies, such as territorial development strategies, state programs and projects, were identified, which allowed us to introduce a classification of risks with the allocation of strategic, tactical risks of territorial development and project management risks, among which there is a strategic level. The analysis of the implemented tools for compliance with the mandatory stages of risk management showed mainly the absence of risk identification, unified requirements for risk accounting and systematic risk management of regional development. Among the assessed regions, the Tyumen region has the best practices in terms of risk management. For a more detailed analysis authors highlighted the key institutional and instrumental elements of risk management such as risk committee, strategic risk map, risk register, action plan for risk management, and defined logical relationships between them.
