<p>This work is presenting the attenuation of coda waves in the Rif region. Using 15 broadband stations, we investigate the attenuation of coda waves utilizing the single backscattering model of aki and chouet. We collect 70 local earthquakes during 2014 for five laps time window 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60s. We computed the quality factors at different central frequencies band on which start from 1.5, 3.0, 6.0, 9.0, 12.0 and 18.0 Hz. For 40s window length, the Qc gives average value for the whole zone of about 128,51 for 1.5 Hz and 993,44 for 18 Hz band frequencies. We observed a clear dependency between the quality factor and the frequency. Also, we have found that this region is tectonic active comparing to previous studies around the world.</p>

Abstract Because of its simple form, a bandlimited, four-parameter anelastic model that yields nearly constant midband Q for low-loss materials is often used for calculating synthetic seismograms. The four parameters used in the literature to characterize anelastic behavior are τ1, τ2, Qm, and MR in the relaxation-function approach (s1 = 1/τ1 and s2 = 1/τ2 are angular frequencies defining the bandwidth, MR is the relaxed modulus, and Qm is approximately the midband quality factor when Qm ≫ 1); or τ1, τ2, Qm, and MR in the creep-function approach (s1 = 1/τ1 and s2 = 1/τ2 are angular frequencies defining the bandwidth, and Qm is approximately the midband quality factor when Qm ≫ 1). In practice, it is often the case that, for a particular medium, the quality factor Q(ω0) and phase velocity c(ω0) at an angular frequency ω0 (s1 < ω0 < s2; s1 < ω0 < s2) are known from field measurements. If values are assigned to τ1 and τ2 (τ2 < τ1), or to τ1 and τ2 (τ2 < τ1), then the two remaining parameters, Qm and MR, or Qm and MR, can be obtained from Q(ω0). However, for highly attenuative media, e.g., Q(ω0) ≦ 5, Q(ω) can become highly skewed and negative at low frequencies (for the relaxation-function approach) or at high frequencies (for the creep-function approach) if this procedure is followed. A negative Q(ω) is unacceptable because it implies an increase in energy for waves propagating in a homogeneous and attenuative medium. This article shows that given (τ1, τ2, ω0) or (τ1, τ2, ω0), a lower limit of Q(ω0) exists for a bandlimited, four-parameter anelastic model. In the relaxation-function approach, the minimum permissible Q(ω0) is given by ln [(1 + ω20τ21)/(1 + ω20τ22)]/{2 arctan [ω0(τ1 − τ2)/(1 + ω20τ1τ2)]}. In the creep-function approach, the minimum permissible Q(ω0) is given by {2 ln (τ1/τ2) − ln [(1 + ω20τ21)/(1 + ω20τ22)]}/{2 arctan [ω0(τ1 − τ2)/(1 + ω20τ1τ2)]}. The more general statement that, for a given set of relaxation mechanisms, a lower limit exists for Q(ω0) is also shown to hold. Because a nearly constant midband Q cannot be achieved for highly attenuative media using a four-parameter anelastic model, a bandlimited, six-parameter anelastic model that yields a nearly constant midband Q for such media is devised; an expression for the minimum permissible Q(ω0) is given. Six-parameter anelastic models with quality factors Q ∼ 5 and Q ∼ 16, constant to 6% over the frequency range 0.5 to 200 Hz, illustrate this result. In conformity with field observations that Q(ω) for near-surface earth materials is approximately constant over a wide frequency range, the bandlimited, six-parameter anelastic models are suitable for modeling wave propagation in highly attenuative media for bandlimited time functions in engineering and exploration seismology.

Three hundred and thirty-five local earthquakes were processed and the attenuation properties of the crust in the Racha region were investigated using the records of seven seismic stations. We have estimated the quality factors of coda waves ([Formula: see text]) and the direct [Formula: see text] waves ([Formula: see text]) by the single back scattering model and the coda normalization methods, respectively. The Wennerberg’s method has been used to estimate relative contribution of intrinsic ([Formula: see text]) and scattering ([Formula: see text]) attenuations in the total attenuation. We have found that [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] parameters are frequency-dependent in the frequency range of 1.5–24[Formula: see text]Hz. [Formula: see text] values increase both with respect to lapse time window from 20[Formula: see text]s to 60[Formula: see text]s and frequency. [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] parameters are nearly similar for all frequency bands, but are smaller than [Formula: see text]. The obtained results show that the intrinsic attenuation has more significant effect than scattering attenuation in the total attenuation. The increase of [Formula: see text] with lapse time shows that the lithosphere becomes more homogeneous with depth.

The study is concentrated on examination the impact of FDI on economic growth in the World during 1975–2015. The study consists of four consecutive parts, including introduction, literature review, model and methodology, data, empirical results and conclusion. Each part of the study is focused on its own goals. According to the results of the literature review, there is positive influence of FDI on economic growth in various countries. Economic growth is one of the most important goals of any country. The country image on the international level is dependent on its economic power. Economic growth provides an opportunity to improve the living standards in the country. Most researchers conclude that there is a positive influence of FDI on the countries’ economic growth. However, the impact of FDI is strong in developing countries. Moreover, this relationship is stronger in countries with higher educational and technological level, trade openness and development of the countries’ stock markets. Economists often build regression models to estimate the relationship between the variables. In order to find the impact of FDI on economic growth, we are going to apply linear regression models. We take two variables as indicators of the countries’ economic growth, including current GDP expressed in U.S dollars, and annual GDP growth rate. Taking into account that the World’s GDP in current U.S dollar is a factor variable with the mentioned resulting variables, the regression equation looks as follows: The R-squared of the built model is 0.99, indicating that roughly 100% of changes in the World’s GDP is caused by the chosen factors. As it is seen from the SAS output, the residuals of dependent variable and factors variables are distributed normally among its average value. Thus, non-normality is not observed in the model. Taking into account the coefficients of the factor variables, the log GDP is most sensitive to the changes in trade as a percent of GDP. The log GDP is not quite sensitive to the changes in FDI, since the coefficient of 0.000128 means that increasing of FDI by one unit increase the logarithmic value of GDP by $ 0.000128.

The article presents the developed method for the quantitative evaluation of involvement of countries of the world in the international open access movement. It consists in the identification of eight country open access indicators initially connected with the open access initiatives and instruments, their weighing, normalization and aggregation in the form of a weighted average value. In a second more strict approximation the number of indicators has been reduced up to six for the account of discarding the data duplicated in ROAR and Open DOAR. Budapest initiative and Berlin declaration were considered as the ОА-initiatives, and data from the international registers DOAJ, SHERPA/RoMEO, ROAR MAP and the Webometrics ОА-repositories ranking was considered as the instruments. The calculation is done on the basis of the developed method for 133 countries.

FIFA 15 and Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 15 are soccer games that are popular in Indonesia. Usability testing needs to be done to assess user interest and satisfaction with both and provide an overview of the comparison of them. The framework used for testing is McCall’S. The test combines operability matrix and training matrix to determine software quality. McCall’S was chosen because it has a reliable and comprehensive quality factor indicators. The results of the tests carried out were data on the operability level of PES15 games of 76.81% ± 15.76% and FIFA15 games of 70.65% ± 20.73%. Testing of training matrices produced 15.96 ± 21.74 seconds for PES15 and 78.29 ± 25.73 seconds for FIFA15 game training matrix. The data shows that reusability of PES15 is better than FIFA15.

Title: Tuna And Skipjack Resources Depletion In IndonesiaABSTRACTTuna and Skipjack has a great economic potential in Indonesia. Several studies have shown that these commodities have symptomed of over-fishing in the world, including Indonesia. This study aims to estimate the extent of tuna and skipjack depletion in Indonesia. Resource depletion is calculated through stock estimates and sustainable yield levels using surplus production model and parameter estimation of Clark Yoshimoto Pooley (CYP) method. Depletion value is obtained from multiplication of depletion volume with unit rent. Results of the study showed that the average volume of depletion of tuna and skipjack resources in the period 1992-2015 was (-) 2,828 tons per year. The average value of tuna and skipjack resource depletion showed negative numbers, ie (-) IDR 131.89 billion per year. This negative value indicates that during the period 1992-2015, the stock of tuna and skipjack fish resources decreased by 2.828 tons per year with the potential value of loss or loss due to a decrease in stock which reached IDR131,89 billion per year.

The purpose of the research. The optimization of the method electrocardiogram’s interpretation (ECG) for diagnosis and prognosis of fatal cardiogenic situations among children and teenagers depending on the severity of myocardial electrical instability.Materials and methods. The authors propose to use a modified method for assessing the “electrical quality of the heart”, proposed by A. N. Volobuev and co-authors in order to assess the electrical instability of the myocardium among children and teenagers. There is a formula which helps to estimate the index of “electrical quality factor of the heart” among children and teenagers: D=(aR/aT):(QT/QRS), where D is the index of “electrical quality factor of the heart”, aT and aR is the amplitude of R wave and T, QT — QT interval, QRS — interval, QRS. ECG was recorded in 12 leads, ECG assessment was carried out according to generally accepted rules.Results. Based on the analysis of 234 ECG of children and teenagers from the neonatal period to 18 years, the criteria of the average value of the index of “electrical quality factor of the heart” (D) were defined, D =1,09 +/- 0,03. It is proved that the value of the index “electrical quality factor of the heart” does not depend on the sex and age of the child. There was a decrease in the index of “electrical quality factor of the heart” was revealed among children with the lengthening of the QT interval.Conclusion. The index of “electrical quality factor of the heart” in pediatric practice allows to predict the risk of fatal cardiogenic conditions, to develop tactics of dynamic monitoring of patients, to evaluate the efficiency of treatment. When D<0.55 it is possible to predict high risk, at a value of 0.55≤D<0.80 — average risk, and at D≥0.80 — low risk of fatal cardiogenic conditions among children and teenagers.
