This study examines the impact of environmental uncertainty and integrative strategy on growth of firm performance through the mediating role of the Business Model Transformation (BMT) strategy of information communication technology (ICT) in Indonesia. The research data was collected from the executive management of ICT through survey research with 30 questionnaire surveys and exploratory study with seven company leaders through in-depth interviews. This study analyzes the suitability of the overall model through causal relationships using Partial Least Square-Path Modeling (PLS-PM). The results show that the BMT predominantly influences the growth of ICT companies. The BMT is predominantly built by the environmental uncertainty (ET) strategy rather than by integrative capability. Thus, companies need to improve their ability and creativity to anticipate and adapt to any uncertainty that unexpectedly results in dynamic competition.

The main purpose of the current study is to investigate the impact of the impact of international Entrepreneurial orientation on the performance of SMEs in QATAR. Additionally, the study has investigated the mediating role of the degree of internationalisation in the relationship between the international Entrepreneurial orientation on the performance of SMEs in Qatar. The present study used stratified sampling technique. The study used Smart PLS-SEM, which is Smart Partial Least Square Structural EquationModeling (SEM) 3.2.6 version. EO has been indicated to improve organisational competitiveness which leads to value creation and eventually improved organisational performance. The findings indicate that the growth performance of SMEs depends on the ability of an entrepreneur to allocate the strategic limited resources and adapt to changes by setting up proper firm orientation. Successful processes will only be achievable if sufficiently skilled and motivated employees are equipped with precise and current information. The findings of this study have presented important managerial implication and contribution to studies on entrepreneurial orientation of SME firms in Qatar.

The article explores the mechanisms that affect consumers’ interest in luxury clothing innovations. The actual research aims to investigate the effect of status quo and clothing involvement on consumer brand loyalty. More, it was intended to quantify the influence of the level of engagement concerning clothing acquisition and the status quo tendency on the consumers’ level of interest toward innovative luxury fashion products. The models were analyzed through the partial-least square-path modeling method. The results revealed that status quo bias and consumers’ involvement in fashion influence their loyalty to brands and level of innovativeness. The novelty of the present research comes from the analysis of the impact of the status quo manifest variables on consumers’ innovative tendencies. Moreover, it was found that status consumption fully mediates the relationships among the investigated predictors and considered outcome variables. The mediator manifests the highest effect size of all investigated predictors. The actual paper advances research in a direction that was not sufficiently addressed in the past, introducing the status quo construct as the main predictor of peoples’ inclination to be loyal to a brand or to manifest a tendency toward innovativeness. Moreover, the article emphasizes the essential role manifested by social status in foreseeing a behavioral response.

The study is based on finding the impact of consumer behavior on green manufacturing. The opinion of the consumer has been taken regarding the production of auto components in Delhi NCR. Most of the consumers are not aware of detailed manufacturing processes of the auto componentswhich leads to difficulties in finding the impact of consumer behaviour on production of the products having no direct application. To know the opinion of the consumer, a questionnaire survey is used to observe the consumer awareness and its impact on production of green product. The PLS-PM (partial Least Square-Path Modeling) is used to formulate the structural equation modelling. It was found that the perceived quality and cost of the product influencing consumer behaviour and purchase intention towards green consumptions. Some more green initiatives, advertising and promotion, and social welfare also influence the consumer significantly towards the use of green products.

The current study is intended to provide analysis of the direct and indirect relationships between (E-HRM) strategies and organizational innovation through knowledge repository as a mediation construct. From various previous studies, five (E-HRM) strategies constructs were adopted for this study. These include E- recruitment, e- selection, e-training, e- performance appraisal, and e-compensations, and used the mediating role of a knowledge repository for these constructs to improve organizational innovation. The study applied the smart partial least square (PLS) software to analyse the underlying relationships amongst the most relevant constructs between (E-HRM) strategies, knowledge repositories, and organizational innovation with a total of seven constructs. The results are from top, middle managers (n = 94) working in the Royal Jordanian airline. It was found that there was a strong and statistically positive significant relationship between several (E-HRM) strategies and organizational innovation by using the knowledge repository as a mediation construct.

This study wants to understand, test, and prove the impact of personality also gender differences on personal financial planning. This study implements the “quantitative approach”. The information’s collected in this study is using “primary data” that collected through questionnaire surveys directly. The sample in this research using “2016 UPN student Accounting department "Veteran" East Java”. Sample selection using the incidental sampling method. Data analysis uses “partial least square (PLS)” which uses “SmartPLS 3.2.9” for personality and gender hypothesis. The findings indicate that “personality variables” were having “significant effect” on “personal financial planning” while “gender variables” had “no significant effect” on “financial planning”.

Purpose Today’s society interest in mobile photography drives consumers’ and brands’ growing usage of Instagram. This paper aims to address the consequences of excessive use of Instagram on the negative feeling of losing information when not connected and the emotional fatigue resulting from an overcharge with new information. The mediating role of addiction between Instagram overuse and the two outcomes is also analyzed. Design/methodology/approach Data from 342 active Instagram users were used to test the proposed model, applying the partial least square equation modeling method (SmartPLS 3). Findings Addiction partially mediates the impact of overuse on emotional fatigue and instastress. Addiction to Instagram was mainly due to respondents’ lack of control over the time spent on it resulting in incapability to reduce its usage. Social implications Social networking site managers, educators, families and public institutions should promote an adequate use of Instagram, making users (especially the young) aware of the potential threats of its excessive usage. The control on the amount of time devoted to Instagram is a key factor for detaining overuse and addiction, as well as avoiding the negative outcomes analyzed in this research. Originality/value The findings contribute to the extant knowledge on the negative side of the digitization of the individual, as little is known about it to the best of the authors’ knowledge.

AbstractThe impact of negative personality traits on entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial behavior has become a research focus in the field of entrepreneurship. This study aimed to identify the influence of dark tetrad personality traits on the nascent entrepreneurial behavior and the mediating role of entrepreneurial intention. This study used partial least square-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the hypotheses on a sample of 347 undergraduate and postgraduate university students from China. The results of this study revealed that narcissism, psychopathy, Machiavellianism, and sadism have a positive and significant influence on nascent entrepreneurial behavior and entrepreneurial intention, which significantly partially mediates the relationship between dark tetrad and nascent entrepreneurial behavior. The finding of the study implies China’s higher education and policymakers to unlock the hidden potential of its youth. This study contributes to the emerging literature on psychology and entrepreneurship and provides evidence that individuals with a high level of dark tetrad are more likely to be involved in entrepreneurial action.
