This study proposes a conceptual model that intends to study several research hypotheses. The data were obtained through an online questionnaire, sent to pharmaceutical companies manufactured generic products in Indonesia. The study was conducted based on responses received from 168 valid questionnaires, and it was used partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the hypotheses. Furthermore, we use both of reflective and formative construct with second order/higher order construct in our model of study which is rarely found in the previous study. This research analyzed the dimensions studied in different aspects. TQM variable consists of seven practice, namely management commitment, supplier quality, employee involvement, leadership management, customer orientation, continuous improvement and quality management system, and with respect to business performance, this variable was analyzed through four different perspectives, namely, financial, customer, internal business process and learning & growth. The findings indicate that companies adopt total quality management get improvement in their business performance. Leadership management has greater effect on the successful of TQM practice compared to other TQM dimensions. This study aims to prove the role of Total Quality Management (TQM) and organizational commitment in supporting the achievement of company operational performance. The population was all Convection SMEs in the city of Banda Aceh, consisted of 294 Convection SMEs. The sample was selected using a proportional sampling technique where sampling considers elements or categories in the study population. The sample taken was 15% of the population. One respondent represented one unit of SMEs, so the sample has amounted to 169 respondents. Data was collected using questionnaires. The model was analyzed with the Structural Equation Model Analysis. The result showed an influence between TQM on Organizational Commitment, TQM on Company Operational Performance, and Organizational Commitment on Company Operational Performance. This study also found that organizational commitment can act as a partial mediator to strengthen the effect of TQM on Company operational performance. The interesting issue in this study lies in the discussion of the organizational commitment to solving the inconsistency problems in the quality of convection production in SMEs. Furthermore, the other researchers can provide more concepts and variables to enrich this research model, like other mediators for TQM to achieve performance or even the commitment that can strengthen the TQM and performance. The model also can be a reference for practitioners to set their strategy in further, to go more productive.

The reason for this examination was to explore the interceding job of Total Quality Management (TQM) between entrepreneurial orientation (EO) AND SME trade executions in the assembling area. This investigation was begun from the way that lone a couple of studies have inspected on how the company's impalpable assets and capacities, for example, EO and TQM drives Small and Medium Enterprise’s' export execution. A few questionnaires in Likert scale were utilized to gather the information and 364 usable reactions were gotten from the owner/CEO of exporting SMEs. Incomplete Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was utilized for the information examination. The discoveries uncover noteworthy connection among Entrepreneurial Orientation and TQM with Small and Medium Enterprise export execution. Besides, this investigation found the correlative interceding job of TQM among Entrepreneurial Orientation and SME export execution of production sector. This investigation has suggestions for proprietor/supervisors of SMEs. The outcomes offer a superior comprehension with respect to EO and TQM usage to SMEs proprietor/chiefs. In this way, proprietor/directors of SMEs can take better choices for the execution of TQM rehearses. Moreover, as far as researcher could possibly know, this investigation looks at SMEs export execution in relationship with the TQM as the moderating variable between EO and SME export execution.

This paper is made to present a Total Quality Management (TQM) Model for Healthcare Industry for Indonesia. From previous study, there are nine Total Quality Management (TQM) practices in healthcare industry such as Top Management Commitment (TMC), Teamwork and Participation (TWP), Process Management (PM), Customer Focus and Satisfaction (CFS), Resource Management (RM), Organizational Behavior and Culture (OBC), Continuous Improvement (CI), Training and Education (TE) and Information Management (IM) . However, these practices are not integrated yet. Therefore, this paper aims to integrate these practices by applying Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). After administering about 200 questionnaires using Linear Structural Relations (LISREL) program, the p-value is at 0.45 above required 0.05 giving the meaning that the model is good fit. This signifies that these nine TQM practices are required to achieve goals of the industry

Key words: AMOS, quality Management, structural equation modeling, SEM, TQMAbstract. This article points out what can be considered as “Management under a Quality Culture”, Total Quality Management [TQM] or simply Quality Management [QM], citing two contrasted points of view from international practitioners and researchers. Previous efforts of Mexican practitioners and consultants using case methods and empirical generalizations, consider and place TQM as a major trend and force change for the new millennium. It is argued that formal statistical researches testing TQM concepts and interrelations are scant. The author proposes and tests an aggregated structural equations model based on field data from his doctoral research information from 45 Mexican manufacturing firms. Data analysis is performed with SPSS and AMOS using regression and determination coefficients, with high degree of significance. In conclusion the author suggests additional strategies for future and more refined data analysis.

By integrating resource-based view and theory of quality management we evaluated the moderating role of competitive intensity on the link between total quality management (TQM) implementation and SME performance. Using a stratified random sampling, 357 self-administered questionnaires were distributed to owner‐managers of SMEs operating in Kano and Kaduna in the north-west geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Of the 714 questionnaires distributed, 440 unusable questionnaires with 57 percent responses were returned and further analysed. The hypotheses were tested using Partial least squares structural equation modeling. Results supported the hypothesised main effect of TQM implementation on SME performance. However, our empirical study revealed that competitive intensity does not moderate positive relationship between TQM implementation and SME performance.
