The aim of the work was to study and evaluate structural changes in the economy of the regions of the North at the present stage of their development (in the period from 2015 to 2019). On the basis of the methodology previously developed by the author for assessing structural shifts, twenty types of economic activity were grouped into two large spheres: production and non-production (services), each consisting of four combined industries. For these economic spheres and industries, an assessment of sectoral and then territorial structural shifts in the period 2015–2019 was carried out. It was found that in the structure of the economy of the regions of the North during this period, the vector of development changed towards an increase in the share of the production sector and a decrease in the non-production sector by 4,4 %, whereas in the previous period 2005–2015, the opposite picture was observed. The high rates of development of the production sector in all regions of the North were revealed, while it grew most rapidly in the West Siberian region due to the extensive development of new gas fields and the construction of new largest LNG complex in the North on the Yamal Peninsula. As a result, the share of GRP in the Northern zone increased in the country from 13,2 % in 2015 to 14,5 % in 2019, and the pace of development was outstripping: 144,6 % versus 129,2 % in the Russian Federation. It is noted that the pace and volume of both sectoral and territorial structural shifts in the production sector in almost all regions of the North zone are almost entirely related to both the scale of investments directed to the development of their economy and the current situation for their resources in the world commodity markets.

Relevance. Bronchial asthma is a serious medical and social problem. To confirm the diagnosis, it is necessary to assess the allergic status, to determine the biological markers of the disease. Of particular relevance is a comprehensive analysis of the results of laboratory examination of patients, including data from hematological, immunological, microbiological studies. Aim. To study some laboratory parameters (hematological, immunological and microbiological), the changes of which are most typical for patients with an established diagnosis of bronchial asthma. Matherials and Methods . A clinical and diagnostic examination of women in the non-production and industrial sectors with an established diagnosis of bronchial asthma, performed during a periodic medical examination, was carried out. Results and Discussion . Laboratory research has shown that hematological parameters are characterized by a reduced content of hemoglobin, erythrocyte indices MCV, MCH, MCHS - markers of hypochromia. The surveyed women had increased indices: eosinophils, immunoglobulin E, allergy index, leukocyte intoxication index. High rates of allergization are found in the production sector in 41,51%, in the non-production sector - in 44,44%, which indicates a serious sensitization of the body. Bacterial contamination in the examined groups is represented by coccal flora, where the most significant microorganisms are Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus spp, Streptococcus pyogenes and Candida albicans. Conclusion . The results of the analysis indicate the need to conduct and study further research on the development of markers of early, prenosological health disorders in the process of screening examination of large groups of the working population.

Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) infection causes significant economic losses to various sectors of the poultry industry worldwide. Over the past few years, the incidence of false layer syndrome in Eastern Canadian layer flocks has been associated with the increased prevalence of the IBV Delmarva (DMV)/1639 strain. In this study, 1-day-old specific-pathogen-free (SPF) hens were infected with the Canadian DMV/1639 strain and observed until 16 weeks of age in order to determine if the IBV DMV/1639 strain is causing false layer syndrome. Early after infection, the virus showed a wide tissue distribution with characteristic gross and histopathological lesions in the respiratory tract and kidney. Around 60–70% of the infected hens demonstrated continuous cloacal viral shedding until the end of the experiment (at 16 weeks) which was associated with high IBV genome loads detected in the cecal tonsils. The experiment confirmed the field observations that the Canadian DMV/1639 strain is highly pathogenic to the female reproductive tract causing marked cystic lesions in the oviduct. Moreover, significant histopathological damage was observed in the ovary. Our study provides a detailed description of the pathological consequences of the IBV DMV/1639 strain circulating in an important poultry production sector.

The influence of a human-centered resource on innovative transformations in society and business is indicated on the basis of the permeability of information influences affecting the behavioral and motivational-emotional mechanisms of a person. Identification of the state of information components that make up the meaning and content of regulatory and managerial impulses modulated by various market participants from different sources is necessary to assess the state of existing contradictions between different subjects of the marketing and communication space of the socio-economic system and their resolution. Various aspects of the influence of the information environment on solving the problems of economic growth and strengthening the competitiveness of business entities in the production sector are identified. The author argues for increasing the importance of the categories «lie», «truth» and «trust» for the formation of models of sustainable economic growth and positive innovative transformations in the system-forming spheres of the economy (including in the food industry). The information and communication platforms created by the subjects of the industrial sphere on the basis of virtualization of the socio-economic space require stricter control over information flows and advertising and marketing tools used to influence various target audiences in the interests of preventing distortion of the real picture of the world, deformation of market relations and the formation of conditions for activating a human-centered resource to strengthen the trend of positive innovative changes and social welfare. The model of business economic growth management is proposed by including an information and communication connector to activate positive innovative transformations in the production sector, in which it is endowed with the properties of a tool for increasing consumer confidence in modulated information signals in developing communication fields.

Abstract This article expands and complicates the literature on “craft” by examining the seeming anomaly of a craft community dominating a significant production sector within an advanced industrial economy, and despite the existence of cheaper high-tech and labor-saving alternatives. Japanese house-carpenters, organized into very small firms with very local markets, and producing “traditional” house-frames in small batches, have long held prefabrication and other alternatives at bay through a process of conservative innovation. The primary goal of their innovative process has been the protection and continuance of house-carpentry as a relevant and marketable skill, and of its practitioners as a self-sustaining community. This craft is not an exemplar of sustainability in other ways, however, despite its association with the traditional and organic. Its house-products have unnaturally short lives given Japanese methods of accounting for property value, and its raw material, foreign-sourced old-growth forests, are increasingly subject to global conservation efforts.
