Three main activity periods of the A. segetum population corresponding to the three-generation development of the pest in the climatic conditions of the Republic of Moldova using pheromone traps. The method of mass capture of males of A. Segetum has been determined to be highly biologically effective in the case of soy.

The aim of our study was the synthesis of the active components of the apple worm, Cydia pomonella L. - E8, E10-dodecenol and the grape moth, Lobesia botrana S. - E7, Z9-dodecadienol and their minor components E-8-dodecenol and E-9 -dodecenyl acetate. Different amounts of components were impregnated in each rubber dispenser. Pheromone traps was given to be tested in field monitoring trials to determine the most effective optimal pheromone blend ratio in the geographical and climatic conditions of the Republic of Moldova.

Phacelia tanacetifolia Benth., which is a species with high potential as forage and honey plant, served as the subject of a new study. The species is characterized by short growing season, staggered and long flowering period (about 55 days depending on the climatic conditions and the date when it was sown). Under laboratory conditions, the germination capacity of the seeds is 84-92 %. The climatic conditions of the Republic of Moldova allow P. tanacetifolia plants to complete the whole ontogenetic development cycle – they bloom, bear fruit and produce viable seeds.

In the paper presents the allogeneic invasive species Cydalima perspectalis, first registered in the Republic of Moldova in 2017 in a park in the Chisinau capital. In 2018, investigations have been held to confirm its evolution in line with the climatic conditions in the area. According to species development in the second half of 2017 and the first half of 2018, it was found that the species is developing as in other countries in Europe: two generations and with the same aggressiveness. The paper describes the recommended fighting methods in countries where the species has developed in Europe, which are also valid for the republic.

Hyalesthes obsoletus (Signoret) is an important vector of Wood Blackening in the Republic of Moldova. To identify the causes of the epidemiology of this disease in vineyards, the period of flight and the preference of the host plant H. obsoletus in the field were studied. Monitoring of vineyards showed that this species was found on the Field Bindweed (Convolvulus arvensis L.), and during the period of mass flight, the leafhopper was observed on Xanthium strumarium and Gorets bindweed (Fallopia convolvulus L.). The captured leafhoppers were diagnosed with the presence of Bois Noir stolbur phytoplasm (STOL). The adults of H. obsoletus were also caught from other herbaceous plants: Povoy fence (Calystegia sepium L.), Garden quinoa (Ariplex hortensis L.), Sow thistle (Sonchus oleraceus L.), Medicinal dandelion (Taraxacum officinale L.), as well as c Stinging nettle (Urtica dioica L.). Changes in climatic conditions in the region, causing premature drying of the grass cover, forces cicadas - vectors to switch to actively growing plants during this period, including grapes, which contributes to the widespread of the disease.

Abstract The viticulture, a traditional branch of the national economy, is closely related to climatic conditions because the Republic of Moldova territory represents the northern border of its territorial location. Therefore the knowledge of regional particularities of grapevine productivity formation in dependence of current agro-climatic conditions is of particular interest. Along with accelerated climate change in last decades over the Republic of Moldova territory, we find that are essential changes concerning agro-meteorological conditions, at the same time comprehensive researches that would reflect the actual impact of climate change on grapevine are limited. There are known researches, but in the context of changes that occur at regional level it is necessary to supplement permanently the database in order to elaborate an appropriate estimation of current climate conditions. The above reported facts show the importance of parameters influencing the grapevine productivity time and space study in Republic of Moldova.

Abstract Aridity in new climatic conditions requires indexes which could adequately explain this process. All the more so, the quantities of atmospheric precipitations also continue to increase on the background of the temperatures increase in the conditions of the Republic of Moldova. Their variable character in the last period of time with the installation of dry and droughty periods alternating with rainy flood-provoking periods determines the selection of the most optimal ecometric indexes that could correctly explain the occurrence of pronounced desertification in the last period of time.

In the Republic of Moldova the defeat of bushes with a disease of phytoplasmic eti-ology – Bois noir occurs everywhere. The article discusses and analyzes the factors contributing to the spread of this disease on grapevine plantations. This process is facilitated by plants-reserves of phyto-plasm, leafhoppers-carriers and changes in climatic conditions. As a result of the stud-ies carried out, plants reserves of phyto-plasma Bois noir were identified: Convol-vulus arvensis L., Fallópia convólvulus L., Chenopodium bonus-henricus L., Rosa L., Ulmus L. Long-term studies have shown that the destruction of weeds on the plan-tation leads to the removal of infection res-ervoir plants and the larvae of the leafhop-per-vector feeding on weeds on the roots. Therefore, systematic soil cultivation in the fight against weeds is an agricultural tech-nique that prevents the spread of Bois noir.

In the article there are discussed some biological and agronomical features of new perspective varieties of apricot, created in RIHAT or introduced in the Republic of Moldova. Based on evaluated level of adaptabilitity and large ecological plasticity to variable pedo-climatic conditions of local culture variety Vasile Cociu and Codrean there are registered for industrial culture. Some introduced foreign varieties (Wondercot, Orange Red, Tsunamy, Big Red, Faralia, Farbaly, etc.) also there are proposed for limited tests in different pomological zone of country. Noticed genotypes are proposed also for utilization within future apricot breeding programs.

A study has been carried out on the anatomical structures of the species Lycium barbarum L. and of the goji varieties from the collection of the National Botanical Garden (I) “Alexandru Ciubotaru”, grown under the pedo-climatic conditions of the Republic of Moldova. The comparative anatomical study was performed on a complex of anatomical indices: cuticle type, bristles, stomata, calcium oxalate crystals.
