Approaching the knowledge of professionals of a multidisciplinary residency program in health contributes to the reflection and analysis of knowledge, with reflexes in the structuring of educational responses aimed at strengthening the effective movement of health promotion in this training modality. This study aimed to understand the knowledge that professionals in a multidisciplinary residency have about health promotion and know the perceptions that they have about the contributions of the residency training process for health promotion practices. This is an exploratory study with qualitative approach, carried out in the context of Integrated Health Residency Program of the School of Public Health of Ceará-ESP-EC, Ceará State, Brazil. Sixteen professionals who had been trained in the program were interviewed. Data from interviews were organized according to content analysis technique and with the support of ATLAS.ti software. Two categories were raised: 1) Health promotion: from information to empowerment; and 2) Multiple training moments: contributions to health promotion practices in Multidisciplinary Residency in Health. The knowledge of residents, inferred from the speeches, sometimes assumed a posture congruent with the theoretical-conceptual international principles of health promotion, strengthening its effectiveness in the country through the Multidisciplinary Residency in Health as a training modality, and sometimes revealed features still related only to the prevention of diseases. Residents demonstrated to be aware of the need to overcome the hegemonic model that considers health professionals as the sole holders of knowledge.

This study examines the pedagogical training process of medical professors at a Brazilian university, the meanings attributed to it, and the positive and negative aspects identified in it. This is a descriptive-exploratory study, using a qualitative approach with a questionnaire utilizing open-ended and closed questions and a semi-structured interview. The majority of queried individuals had no formal teacher training and learned to be teachers through a process of socialization that was in part intuitive or by modeling those considered to be good teachers; they received pedagogical training mainly in post-graduate courses. Positives aspects of this training were the possibility of refresher courses in pedagogical methods and increased knowledge in their educational area. Negative factors were a lack of practical activities and a dichotomy between theoretical content and practical teaching. The skills acquired through professional experience formed the basis for teaching competence and pointed to the need for continuing education projects at the institutional level, including these skills themselves as a source of professional knowledge.

Abstract Objective: To analyze training in integrated health care for the elderly from the perspective of nursing students. Method: A descriptive and exploratory study with a qualitative approach was carried out using the action research method with the participation of 24 nursing students from a university center in Piauí, Brazil. Data were obtained through semi-structured interviews and submitted to content analysis. Results: Two thematic categories emerged: Perspectives on aging, violence and sexuality and A holistic approach to the elderly: integrating training and care. Conclusion: The perspective of the students on integrated care for the elderly is fragmented, stemming from the limitations of the training process for such care.

RESUMO Objetivo: verificar a existência de dificuldades no atendimento do SAMU na percepção dos enfermeiros. Método: estudo qualitativo, descritivo, exploratório, desenvolvido no SAMU. Foram entrevistados seis enfermeiros pertencentes às equipes de Atendimento Pré-Hospitalar (APH) do SAMU. Os dados foram analisados pela técnica de Análise de Conteúdo na modalidade Análise Categorial. Resultados: após a análise dos dados, emergiram as categorias temáticas “Insatisfação com a Gestão”; “Dificuldades com a Central de Regulação”; “Ausência de periodicidade nas manutenções das ambulâncias” e “Desconhecimento da população a respeito da função do SAMU”. Conclusão: o estudo abordou aspectos importantes relacionados às dificuldades encontradas em um serviço de urgência e emergência pré-hospitalar na percepção dos enfermeiros. Os gestores devem ter atitudes baseadas na promoção e manutenção dos equipamentos utilizados pelos profissionais de saúde, investir no serviço e em seus servidores como, também, na informação e conhecimento de seus usuários para que, assim, haja qualidade e segurança nos procedimentos de socorro. ABSTRACT Objectives: to analyze palliative care production developed by health professionals to home care patients. Methods: this is an exploratory study, with a qualitative approach, using the transpersonal care theoretical framework. Thirteen interviews were conducted with health professionals and 18 observations were conducted on different cases. Content analysis was performed using MAXQDA©. Results: actions performed: maintenance and follow-up measures to people eligible for palliative care, in acts of dialogue and "listening" to caregivers and users, conducting guidelines for the care and self-care process, performing technical procedures, delivery of materials, referrals and medical prescriptions to users. Final Considerations: it is perceived the need for advances in the implementation of government policies in Brazil that insert palliative care into the Health Care Network through educational, managerial and care actions that ensure human dignity, thus allowing the development of these and other palliative care interventions.

ABSTRACT Objective: To know the perception of health professionals and their families about fake news related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: Descriptive-exploratory study with a qualitative approach. Twenty-eight individuals participated, including seven physicians, seven nurses, and 14 family members. Data collection took place between August and October 2020, with audio-recorded interviews. After transcription, the content was analyzed using Content Analysis, thematic modality. Results: Three categories were identified: “Context of the occurrence and dissemination of fake news in times of pandemic”; “Consequences of fake news on the experience of the pandemic”; and “Coping strategies to contain/combat fake news”. Conclusion: Sociocultural, political, educational, and technological aspects influence the occurrence and dissemination of fake news, which have consequences such as: misinformation, self-medication, worsening in the professional-patient relationship, increased need for additional research, and fear in the population. To face the current situation, greater control by the State is required, with investigation and punishment of people who disseminate fake news, as well as greater awareness among the population on the subject.

ABSTRACT Objective: to investigate health professionals' knowledge about the concept, assessment and intervention in fatigue in children and adolescents with cancer. Method: exploratory study with qualitative approach, with 53 health professionals (10 nurses, 33 assistant nurses, 3 physicians, 3 nutritionists, 2 psychologists and 2 physical therapists). Semi structured interviews were held, which were recorded and analyzed by means of inductive thematic content analysis. Results: the data were organized around three themes: knowledge of health professionals about fatigue; identification of fatigue and interventions to relieve fatigue. Conclusion: the results indicate the health professionals' limited knowledge about fatigue, as well as the lack of investment in their training and continuing education. Most of all, the lack of research on the theme in the Brazilian context remains a barrier to support improvements in care for this symptom in children and adolescents with cancer.

ABSTRACTObjective: to understand the experiences of breastfeeding among adolescent mothers. Method: this is about an exploratory study from qualitative approach. The number of participants was held for the saturation of information from the statements. To collect data, we adopted the semi-structured interview. Data were subjected to the technique of content analysis of Bardin. It was presented as a research question: What is the experience of teenage mothers with breastfeeding. The study was approved by the Ethics and Research, Faculty of Science and Technology of Salvador, Bahia, protocol number 01.303/2009. Results: breastfeeding revealed some of the feelings experienced by adolescents as a strengthening of ties, anxiety, fullness, guilt and maturity. It was also identified obstacles towards breastfeeding, social support for breastfeeding and the first place where it is experienced by breastfeeding mothers. Conclusion: the experience of breastfeeding during adolescence can happen in a satisfactory and effective, provided that mothers have the necessary support from family and health professionals, as observed in this study. Os dados foram submetidos à técnica de análise de conteúdo de Bardin. Apresentou como questão de pesquisa: Qual a vivência de mães adolescentes com o aleitamento materno. O estudo foi aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética e Pesquisa, da Faculdade de Tecnologia e Ciência de Salvador-BA, sob parecer número 01.303/2009. Resultados: a amamentação revelou alguns sentimentos experienciados pelas adolescentes, como fortalecimento de vínculo, ansiedade, plenitude, culpa e maturidade. Identificou-se também os obstáculos frente à amamentação, o suporte social para o aleitamento materno e o primeiro local onde o aleitamento é experienciado pelas mães. Conclusão: a experiência de amamentar durante a adolescência pode acontecer de maneira satisfatória e eficaz, desde que as mães tenham o apoio necessário de familiares e profissionais de saúde, como foi observado nesse estudo. Presentado como una pregunta de investigación: ¿Cuál es la experiencia de las madres adolescentes con la lactancia materna. El estudio fue aprobado por la Ética e Investigación de la Facultad de Ciencia y Tecnología de Salvador, Bahía, en la opinión número 01.303/2009. Resultados: la lactancia materna reveló algunos de los sentimientos experimentados por los adolescentes como un fortalecimiento de los vínculos, la ansiedad, la plenitud, la culpa y la madurez. Fue también identificó los obstáculos hacia la lactancia materna, el apoyo social a la lactancia materna y el primer lugar en el que es experimentado por las madres que amamantan. Conclusión: la experiencia de la lactancia materna durante la adolescencia puede suceder en una satisfactoria y eficaz, a condición de que las madres tienen el apoyo necesario de profesionales de la familia y la salud, como se observa en este estudio. This is an exploratory study with a qualitative approach, which looks at the adolescent process with HIV/AIDS. The purpose is to identify how the adolescent process occurs, from the perspective of these teenagers and their family caregivers. The investigation was performed in Porto Alegre, RS between May and July 2005, and the subjects were four adolescents and three caregivers. Data were collected by means of interviews, which were subject to the content analysis technique. The study revealed that both teenagers and family caregivers did not show concern with the changes typical of the period, especially regarding sexuality questions. Yet, the underlying diagnosis and coping with HIV remain in the family core in order to protect these agents against the stigma of the disease.

Abstract Objective: to analyze the perception of caregivers of elderly persons regarding their own oral health care and that of the elderly individuals. Method: a descriptive-exploratory study with a qualitative approach was carried out. Semi-structured interviews with 13 caregivers were conducted, recorded and transcribed, and the Content Analysis technique was applied. Results: All respondents were informal caregivers, most of whom were female, aged over 50, married, had some degree of kinship with those receiving care, an incomplete elementary school education and no other occupation or job. After analyzing the interviews, the data were grouped into the following categories: a) home visits and health professionals; b) caregiver experience and care of the elderly; and c) the caregiver and their self-care. Conclusion: knowledge of caregivers’ perception of their own oral health and that of dependent/semi-dependent elderly persons assists in planning, promotion, prevention and health recovery. The work of a multi-professional team is therefore essential in the seeking out and instruction of these individuals.

Study to analyze nursing graduates' perception about the contribution of the training process in its insertion in the labour market. Descriptive exploratory study, a qualitative approach. The data was collected in 2011 through semistructured interviews. Attended by 15 professionals, graduated from the Nursing Course at a South Brazilian university in 2009- 2010, inserted in the labour market. Data was analysed according to Minayo's proposals. From this analysis emerged the category Training route, including the subcategory: following the travel itineray. The results demonstrate the need for curricular integration, better use of clinical practices experiences, research valorization, and the importance of training based on dialogue between students and professors.
