In fine arts education more and more dynamic changes are required in the context of the current situation. Their main goal is to achieve adequacy with regard to contemporary social reality, reflected in current concepts and forms related to the art itself. Fine arts education is not intended solely to train and transform students into artists and authors. It aims to develop the visual culture and literacy, creative, abstract and contextual thinking, as well as value orientation, that everyone needs. These are all things essential for building the personality of today’s people, for their progressive development, success and adaptability in the context of today’s reality. Decorative-abstract imagery is at the heart of the present complex reality, almost entirely enveloped by digital media and electronic technologies, where everything is deep in information and visual glut. The understanding, comprehension, and application of abstract art forms is increasingly changing in tune with the changing thinking, behavior, and understanding of today’s people about the world and art. In this context, digital drawing is increasingly entering the present day and is gradually replacing the classical methods of drawing. It was initially perceived as a new art form in which traditional techniques are applied through digital instruments. The computer helps the artist to perceive the world in a new way.

He was known for his paintings of the Palestinian landscape, in particular his picturesque and decorative images of the Holy City of Jerusalem executed in a painterly style combining Impressionism and Expressionism. He participated in group exhibitions locally and internationally, including the Sharjah Biennale, in the United Arab Emirates, in 1995 and 2003. He was the president of the Palestinian League of Artists from 1990 to 1996, and was the Dean of the faculty of fine arts at Al-Quds University from 2001 to 2003. He held the position of inspector for fine arts education in Jerusalem, and published a book on art education for secondary level students. From 2000 onwards he explored mixed-media techniques and collage, investigating relationships between the land, heritage, and childhood. In particular, he adopted a child-like style in his paintings to represent ideal images of the city filled with innocence and spontaneity, erasing traces of the harshness of occupation, and creating a city of bliss, beauty, and utopia.

The results show that burnout and vigor have negative correlation and occupational satisfaction has negatively correlated with emotional exhaustion, which is a sub-dimension of burnout but positively correlated with physical strength, which is a sub-dimension of vigor. Moreover, it is determined that the academicians who go to the doctor less frequently have higher occupational satisfaction and the academicians who are facing health issues have higher level of burnout.
