This theoretical essay sought to debate the importance of the teacher's cultural repertoire in classroom performance, regardless of the segment in which he/she works. In order to exemplify the importance of this repertoire, the objective was to analyze the productions of two great renowned artists: the poet João Cabral de Melo Neto and the painter Joan Miró, discussing the artistic dialogue between them. Apparently, this research for teachers of Kindergarten and Elementary Education I hardly sees the itinerary to be followed for teacher training since, from the early grades, the child has contact with different artistic productions. Therefore, the teacher's gaze must be focused on a more complex and deeper knowledge of these analyses. The research includes that this itinerary is what offers relevant discoveries that will nourish the teaching repertoire, enabling the creation of situations that lead the child to knowledge of the world and an openness to the sensitive.

Empathy is an emotion that can be cultivated in childhood; as society moves more and more to the online word, however, empathy is needed as people are entering a global economy with people from various backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs. The researchers in this study provided a writing intervention to third grade students in order to promote perspective-taking skills that are displayed through their writing. The researchers developed a rubric to accurately determine the effects of the intervention on student writing and whether or not the students developed empathy for the characters studied. This study informed researchers that above all children make connections with all types of people, despite their differences. In addition to learning about the students, the researchers found that educators would benefit from professional development in order to help them teach students about different cultures and further promote perspective-taking.

Using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in elementary school classrooms has been shown to positively impact students' learning outcomes. There are numerous ways in which PBL helps students learn in the primary grades. There is still a paucity of research from reputable national journals on PBL in elementary education for this review. Articles on problem-based learning and the basics of education were pulled from the indexed national education journal Sinta Indonesia as part of the literature review method. Based on the criteria, 16 articles were chosen from the results list. The literature review results show that the PBL model can have a positive impact in general. The research that has been done has improved and had an effect. Elementary school students have made significant strides in a variety of areas, including behavior, attitude, academic performance, and character traits such as initiative, responsibility, cooperation, and critical thinking. Because of PBL's similarities to early childhood education, it should be considered for inclusion there.

In the era of knowledge economy, education determines the competition of a nation. The United States is famous for its quality education around the world. However, in modern times, new challenges have emerged, especially in K-12 education. Although China highly emphasizes on education, due to its limitation of history and development, there are still many problems that need to be solved. Through the comparison of Chinese and American elementary education, the educational strategy can be refined based on different cultural contexts. It is particularly important to stress on gender issues in elementary education in terms of sociological value. The intangible gender bias still exists in other forms. In other words, it is crucial to create a learning environment with gender equality as a response to current gender issues. This study is mainly carried out by reviewing literatures, and the paper is divided into five parts. With a brief introduction of elementary education and gender consideration, this study compares the Chinese and American elementary education system and gender impact. Then, two research results, as a quantitative data, are discussed in this paper, reflecting how gender stereotypes influence elementary education.
