<p class="apa">In the era of development when the needs of a society to its citizens with a political lifestyle based on the development proportional to their native culture seem necessary, updating training and creating changes in citizens’ curricula proportional to political indicators of lifestyle is considered as a necessary issue. The objective of the present study is to determine the degree of compatibility of elementary school teacher training with political indicators of lifestyle based on Islamic-Iranian Model of Development by employing a survey research. To collect data, a researcher-made questionnaire was used. This research was conducted on a sample including teachers of area 2, 6, and 12 (n=176) in the City of Tehran in the academic year 2014-2015. The results of the research indicated that the degree of teachers’ attention to political indicators of lifestyle is higher than the moderate level and cognitive domains have been paid more attention to than emotional and behavioral domains.</p>

During the academic year 1972–73, I had the opportunity to observe mathematics classes in a large number of “inner-city” elementary schools in New York City. All of the schools were located in extremely poor neighborhoods and served black and Puerto Rican children, for the most part. In this article I would like to describe three observations, each of which suggests a number of interesting questions and issues that the elementary school teacher may wish to consider. Not only will no attempt be made to offer prescriptive solutions to the problems delineated, but, as will become evident shortly, the author has no simple solutions to offer.

This is elementary school teacher training to solve mathematics olympiad problems in Bulukumba district. The purpose of this training is to (1) provide information about mathematics olympiad in Indonesia (2) training teacher to solve mathematics olympiad problems, and (3) motivate  primary teachers to conduct olympiad class in their school.  The method is divided into two, namely the presentation and the independent tasks. The presentation focuses on the types of math competitions and the types of Olympic problems. Independent task aims to create and solve mathematics Olympiad problems for elementary school level. In addition, motivation was also being concerned in this training. The teachers were expected to use the problems in their mathematics class and also to identify students who potentially have ability join in mathematics competition. Abstrak Pengabdian ini berupa pelatihan olimpiade matematika tingkat Sekolah Dasar yang diperuntukkan bagi Guru Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten Bulukumba. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk (1) memberikan pengetahuan terkait pelaksanaan olimpiade matematika di Indonesia (2) memberikan pemahaman terkait soal-soal olimpiade matematika, dan (3) memberikan motivasi kepada guru untuk melakukan pembimbingan olimpiade. Metode pelaksanaan terbagi atas dua yakni metode ceramah dan metode kerja mandiri. Metode ceramah berfokus kepada materi tentang jenis jenis kompetisi matematika dan jenis jenis soal olimpiade. Kerja mandiri bertujuan untuk membuat dan menyelesaikan soal olimpiade matematika tingkat SD. Selain itu, motivasi juga diberikan agar guru dapat mengadopsi soal tersbeut dalam kegiatan pembelajaran serta mencari bibit unggul yang dapat diikutkan untuk berkompetisi.

RESUMOA narrativa da trajetória escolar de formador de professores é trazida à luz como pretexto para discussão sobre a relevância de material biográfico em processos formativos. Práticas relacionadas ao método biográfico no cenário da escola de educação básica são aqui exploradas com a finalidade de evidenciar seu potencial formativo. A contextualização foi um recurso metodológico observado, tendo de seu uso resultado um texto recheado de notas históricas. A narrativa de trajetória escolar e do contexto de produção compõe aqui um memorial, entendido como um olhar lançado sobre a história de vida de um docente que toma sua vida como objeto e, de suas experiências, faz história. É uma história de si, uma autobiografia, pela qual nos fazemos historiadores de nós mesmos. A narrativa deslindou traços da escola, da formação de professores e da prática pedagógica, de modo a fazer compreender a participação da dimensão biográfica no processo formativo de professor.Trajetória escolar. Contextualization was an observed methodological resource, and its use resulted in a text full of historical notes. The narrative of the school trajectory and the context of production composes here a memorial, understood as a look at the life story of a teacher who takes his life as an object and, from his experiences, makes history. It is a story of itself, an autobiography, by which we make ourselves historians of ourselves. The shadow of our Greek heritage in mathematics has fallen on the elementary schools. The philosophical question concerning what a number is and what a relation is has resulted in a tangle of inconsistencies for the elementary school teacher as well as the child.

The purpose of this study was to improve skills in forming reliefs from plasticine material in elementary schools using the direct learning model. This research is a research conducted using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The subject of the research was the teacher and fourth grade students of elementary school in the city of Padang. The results showed that an increase in skills formed a relief in the form of: the RPP assessment had increased from 84.71% to 94.44%. From the teacher aspect there was an increase from 76.56% to 95.31%, and the student aspect had increased from 70.31% to 90.62%. In the assessment of student skills improvement occurs from an average value of 70.76, increasing to 85.98.

Formalin is a solution which made from 37% formaldehyde in water which is commonly used as preservative for cosmetic products and various types of non-food industrial materials. The use of formalin as a preservative in food is very dangerous for health. The purpose of this study was to determine the presence of formalin found in skewered meatballs circulating in several elementary schools in the city of Manado. Sampling was done in Malalayang Elementary School (A), State Elementary School 6 Manado (B), State Elementary School 9 Manado (C) and State Elementary School 29 Manado (D). In a qualitative test, Nash reagents were used to determine the presence of formalin in the sample. Nash reagent was used to indicate the presence of Formalin content in a sample marked with a change in color to yellow. The results of this study showed that twelve samples of skewers from four elementary schools in Manado City did not contain formalin or safe from formalin use.   Keywords: Formalin, Formaldehyde, Skewered Meatballs, Nash Reagent, Qualitative Analysis  ABSTRAK Formalin merupakan larutan yang dibuat dari 37% formaldehida dalam air yang umumnya digunakan sebagai bahan pengawet produk kosmetik dan berbagai jenis bahan industri non makanan. Penggunaan formalin sebagai bahan pengawet pada makanan sangat berbahaya bagi kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui keberadaan formalin yang terdapat pada bakso tusuk yang beredar di beberapa Sekolah Dasar di Kota Manado. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di SD Negeri Malalayang (A), SD Negeri 6 Manado (B), SD Negeri 9 Manado (C) dan SD Negeri 29 Manado (D).  Pada pengujian kualitatif digunakan pereaksi Nash untuk mengetahui adanya formalin pada sampel. Pereaksi Nash ini digunakan untuk menunjukkan adanya kandungan Formalin pada sampel yang ditandai dengan perubahan warna menjadi kuning. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dua belas sampel bakso tusuk dari empat Sekolah Dasar di Kota Manado tidak mengandung formalin atau aman dari penggunaan formalin. Kata Kunci: Formalin, Formaldehida, Bakso Tusuk, Pereaksi Nash, Analisis Kualitatif
