Thermo-mechanical controlled rolling (TMCR) schedules have been studied on the wire line of 400/200 section rolling mill to manufacture 6.0 – mm - diameter reinforcing wire in coils by V-alloyed C – Mn – Si - steel that has dual-phase (DP - ferrite-martensite (bainite)) and multi-phase (MP - ferrite-martensite (bainite) - pearlite) microstructures. It has been established that high tensile strength and plasticity values were achieved in this 6.0 – mm wire in coils (YS0.2= 530-550 MPa; TS= 785 – 885 MPa; El5  = 15.0 – 29.0 %) which were in full compliance with national standard specifications such as ASТM A 615 (USA), JIS G 3112 (Japan) and KSD 3504 (the Republic of Korea)), when the TMCR schedules involving laying head temperatures ТLH from 1024 ºС to 1063 ºС were employed ensuring formation of MP microstructure.

The present study reports on the microstructural evolution and room temperature plasticity of V(-Si)-B alloys with respect to the V solid solution (VSS)-V3B2 phase region. To investigate the occurring effects systematically, different binary V-B and ternary V-Si-B alloys were produced by conventional arc melting. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) analyses and X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements were used to characterize the resulting as-cast microstructures. For the first time, the eutectic composition was systematically traced from the binary V-B domain to the ternary V-Si-B system. The observations discover that the binary eutectic trough (VSS-V3B2) seems to reach into the ternary system up to an alloy composition of V-5Si-9B. Room temperature compression tests were carried out in order to study the impact of single-phase and multi-phase microstructures on the strength and plasticity of binary and ternary alloys. The results indicate that the VSS phase controls the plastic deformability in the VSS-V3B2 eutectic microstructure whereas the intermetallic V3B2 acts as a strong hardening phase.

Thermal management materials frequently have multi-phase composite character with complex architecture of the constituents. As a result, design rules are needed which can be used in selection of the phases and optimizing their volume fractions. The study shows that such are provided by finite element modeling of these composites. This is demonstrated for a diamond-SiC-Si-(Al) composites, which have been optimized in terms of the volume fraction of SiC, contact area between the components and presence of open porosity.

Research on this journal ontology that many private higher education institutions in Jakarta cover the impact of the policies of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia as public officials to make and issue regulations that are very burdensome for the management of private higher education institutions. The purpose of this research is to criticize for improvement to the government of the Republic of Indonesia. This research used a qualitative method, while the research object was private universities in Jakarta that lack resources. The research subjects were resource persons who were aware of the constraints of the bankruptcy of private universities in Jakarta. The results of the study show that it has been proven that the state, in this case, the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia, makes and issues regulations that are very detrimental to the management of private higher education which is minimal in resources. The suggestion from this research shows that the government, by the constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, must be able to provide resource assistance efforts for private universities that are deficient.

Under industrial conditions, it is common to avoid undesirable costly modernization of the existing equipment and increase the production efficiency. That is why as a basis of the solution to the scientific-applied problem, the authors took the idea of the adjustment of temperature-deformation regimes of metal-roll thick plate rolling for building constructions of the certain assignment in the way to initiate heterogeneous origination of ferrite on the polygonal boundaries of austenite as well as to form, before the finish rolling, as much as possible dispersed grain of hypoeutectoid ferrite. It must guarantee the formation of highly-dispersed final ferrite-perlite structure and the high level of strength and plasticity of the thick plate.

t has been established experimentally that irradiating the sample of tungsten carbide hard metal spray-coated by titanium layer 1-2 μm thickness by high-intensity electron beam resulted in generation of a gradient multi-phase nanostructured layer of microhardness higher than that of untreated material by a factor of 2.5.

Traditional teacher education focused on crisis teaching, crisis prevention and crisis management at the internal and external level changes require education to react to factors and contexts at meso and macro level. The aim of the research was to determine whether the learning outcomes of initial teacher education that prepare future teachers to deal with crises at meso level and macro level can be identified. Also, research aimed to identified learning outcomes with respect to the type of crisis they address and the level of revised Bloom’s taxonomy (Anderson & Kratwohl, 2001). Content analysis of initial teacher education curriculums on a national sample of the Republic of Croatia was conducted. Curricular content analysis identified learning outcomes in a broad field of society, education, ecology, technology, but there are no learning outcomes related to economy. Most learning outcomes in the area of crises in society were at the level of evaluation (27,3%), as well as the learning outcomes in the area of crisis in education (34%). Since there is no national standard for teacher education, significant differences were found in the scope and number of learning outcomes according to the year of study as well as the university. Given the results of this research, it is necessary to revise initial teacher education curriculums and develop lifelong learning programs that would provide future teachers with the development of competencies necessary to act in various situations of crisis.
