Background – The number of vascular plant species known to occur in Gabon rises quickly due to renewed collecting and inventory activities, often in little-known or previously uncollected areas. Methods – Herbarium material from BR, BRLU and WAG was studied. Results – Two genera (Alloteropsis, Entolasia), eleven species and one variety of grasses are recorded from Gabon for the first time (Alloteropsis paniculata, Cenchrus echinatus, Elionurus platypus, Entolasia olivacea, Eragrostis patens, Hyparrhenia diplandra var. mutica, Leersia triandra, Loudetia annua, Oryza longistaminata, Rottboellia purpurascens, Sacciolepis africana and Setaria geminata), while information on two erroneous species reports is provided. This brings the total number of grass species known to occur in Gabon to 190. Finally, new records of four rare species (Elionurus hensii, Guaduella macrostachys, Paratheria prostrata and Puelia schumanniana) are discussed.

Dasypoda bees are host-specialized solitary species distributed in the Palaearctic Region. In the framework of a global revision of this genus, comprehensive descriptions of three rare species (D. tibialis Morawitz, D. vulpecula Lebedev and D. iberica Warncke) are presented. The detailed morphology of the D. tibialis male and both sexes of D. vulpecula are given for the first time after a very partial original description. The females of D. tibialis and D. iberica are described for the first time and additional morphological characters of the male of D. iberica are provided. The lectotype of Dasypoda tibialis is designated. Host-plants and new localities are also presented.

Abstract From the economical point of view, the genus Ganoderma is one of the most important groups of Basidiomycetes due to their medicinal effects and also because they cause decay in a very wide range of tree species all over the world. In this study new data of the Hungarian Ganoderma species are published and the specimens in accessible Hungarian herbarium collections are processed and revised. The article includes the nomenclatural status, the morphological characters, the host preference, frequencies and the details of the fungarium samples of six Ganoderma species (Ganoderma adspersum, G. applanatum, G. carnosum, G. cupreolaccatum, G. lucidum, G. resinaceum) as well. In total 215 Ganoderma specimens are examined and 10 hosts of the six native Ganoderma species new for Hungary are presented. The Hungarian locality and time of the collection of the only Ganoderma carnosum (IZ3122) specimen and two new localities of this rare species is published here for the first time.

The report provides data on new localities of rare and protected species of plants, fungi and lichens in the central districts of the Rostov Region – Belokalitvinsky, Kamensky, Konstantinovsky, Krasnosulinsky, Morozovsky, Tatsinsky, Ust-Donetsky, Tsimlyansky. Basing on the results of the monitoring works done in 2020, 196 locali-ties of 63 species that were not included in the 2nd edition of the Red Data Book of the Rostov Region (Krasnaia…, 2014) were noted, including 67 locations of 19 species included in the Red Data Book of the Rus-sian Federation (Krasnaia…, 2008). 9 species of plants and fungi are indicated for the study region for the first time (macromycetes Agaricus bernardiiformis, Amanita vittadinii, Leccinum duriusculum, moss Fontinalis antipy-retica, angiosperms Elytrigia stipifolia, Jurinea cretacea, Matthiola fragrans, Salvia austriaca, Serratula tanait-ica), 5 species of them (Amanita vittadinii, Elytrigia stipifolia, Jurinea cretacea, Matthiola fragrans, Serratula tanaitica) have a federal protection status.

Chorological data on 27 bryophytes from the Balearic Islands are presented. Most of the bryological records included in this contribution correspond to relatively rare species limited to mountain areas in the Balearic Islands (mainly in Mallorca), for which the information about their distribution in the archipelago is scarce and outdated. The presence within the Balearic archipelago of Hypnum resupinatum, Lewinskya fastigiata and Ptychostomum kunzei is reported for the first time. Additionally, Epipterygium tozeri is new record for Mallorca. Special mention deserves the new localities in Mallorca for Plagiochasma appendiculatum, an endangered species in Europe.

AbstractTaxonomic notes on the species of Achrysocharoides Girault occurring in Sweden are presented. A. cruentus n.sp. is described from female material only and ♂ ♀A. buekkensis (Erdös) is redescribed. The other species are compared to British material which has been dealt with in two recent papers (Askew & Ruse 1974; Bryan 1980). The keys of these works are supplemented with A. cruentus and A. buekkensis. Lectotypes are designated for Derostenus chrysostomus Thomson and D. niveipes Thomson. Eleven species are reported from Sweden, 9 of which are new to the country. From Hungary 14 species so far are recorded: A. acerianus (Askew), A. butus (Walker) and A. splendens (Delucchi) are reported for the first time. Host and host-plants are presented for each species. Two new hosts are reported for A. splendens: Parornix avellanella on Corylus avellana and Lithocolletis schreberella on Ulmus.
