This article introduces the function, the method of selection and related criterion of standard internal crusher gauge, and systematically analyzes three factors that affect the measuring uncertainty of standard internal crusher gauge, including: inconsistency of pressure’s true value from pressure source, the uncertainty imported by standard copper-cylinder and the random fluctuations of the individual character of pressure measuring gauge. According to usage characteristics and selection methods of the standard internal crusher gauge, discusses computing methods of components of the measuring uncertainty and establishes evaluation model for measuring uncertainty of standard internal crusher gauge. The model can quantitatively calculate through experimental data of selection, which lay a theoretical foundation for the control of the pressure measuring uncertainty of standard internal crusher gauge.

The objective of this collaborative study was to evaluate the indigestible neutral detergent fiber (iNDF) and indigestible acid detergent fiber (iADF) content in feeds in six laboratories from institutions linked to the National Institute of Science and Technology in Animal Science (INCT-CA). Six feeds were evaluated: signal grass hay, sugarcane, corn silage, soybean meal, corn and citrus pulp. Estimated levels of iNDF and iADF proved to be dependent on the laboratory in which the analysis was performed. It was found that differences between laboratories ranged from 2.40 percentage points for soybean meal to 8.05 percentage points for sugarcane for iNDF analysis and from 1.79 percentage points for corn to 10.06 percentage points for hay for iADF analysis. It was observed that the individual evaluation of each material, the total random variation of the results between laboratories ranged from 88.75 to 96.77% and 88.75 to 98.40% for iNDF and iADF analysis, respectively. The iNDF and iADF levels are dependent on the interaction effect between the evaluated material and laboratory and have low reproducibility; this may be a consequence of the differences between the methods practiced by each laboratory, demonstrating lack of standardization of procedures used by the laboratories.

Dissatisfied with current school nurse evaluation instruments, school nurse administrators sought to develop an appraisal system that would emphasize the professional role of the school nurse and provide a means to enhance individual practice. The newly revised Standards of Professional School Nursing Practice and the creation of a state teacher evaluation model presented the opportunity to produce an instrument that could be adapted within the educational setting for school nursing practice. The appraisal system included not only the methods to evaluate practice, but the means to involve the individual school nurse through goal setting. The process also included a structured intervention plan that facilitated remediation. This article describes the development of the appraisal system, the components, and the implementation of an evaluation system for school nurses.

This is the second of two articles outlining the professional school nurse’s role in the special education process for students with disabilities. The Individuals with Disabilities in Education Improvement Act of 2004 mandates the special education process: identification, full and individual evaluation, eligibility determination, and development of the individual education program (IEP), including special education placement. Part 1 focused on the importance of the school nurse’s role in student identification, response to intervention, and the full and individual evaluation. Part 2 highlights the school nurse’s vital and unique contribution to the subsequent special education steps of eligibility determination, IEP development, and special education services placement and minutes.

The paper investigates in the question if and how the subjective well-being (SWB) of German emigrants, German non-migrants, and German remigrants differ. Based on regression analyses of data from the European Social Survey (ESS) the analyses focus on life satisfaction and happiness as main indicators of SWB. It turns out that German emigrants show increased SWB compared to German non-migrants or remigrants. However, these findings cannot be explained by differences in the socio-economic or socio-demographic group structure. In fact, the increased SWB of emigrants is much more an effect of psychosocial differences and differences in the individual evaluation of household income.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate how the Kirkpatrick Learning Evaluation Model (1950) can be augmented to make it more credible and successful evaluation parameter in the changing times. Since the advent of Information Technology industry the rigid structures of organizations are replaced by the Flat/Matrix structures, removing the bars of time and place. This paper is an attempt to include three gaps identified in the Kirkpatrick Model, Training motivation, Organization citizenship behaviour and the Assessment of both the individual and the Organization simultaneously. Through co-relation and regression analysis these gaps were tested on the data obtained from 461 employees. The data support the various relationships to be included in Kirkpatrick Model and it identifies that for an effective training program it's essential to perform both pre-training and post-training analysis using the four parameters of Kirkpatrick Model viz. Reaction (changed to Motivation), Learning, Behaviour (or Performance) and Results.

Conversational systems are now applicable to almost every business domain. Evaluation is an important step in the creation of dialog systems so that they may be readily tested and prototyped. There is no universally agreed upon metric for evaluating all dialog systems. Human evaluation, which is not computerized, is now the most effective and complete evaluation approach. Data gathering and analysis are evaluation activities that need human intervention. In this work, we address the many types of dialog systems and the assessment methods that may be used with them. The benefits and drawbacks of each sort of evaluation approach are also explored, which could better help us understand the expectations associated with developing an automated evaluation system. The objective of this study is to investigate conversational agents, their design approaches and evaluation metrics. This approach can help us to better understand the overall process of dialog system development, and future possibilities to enhance user experience. Because human assessment is costly and time consuming, we emphasize the need of having a generally recognized and automated evaluation model for conversational systems, which may significantly minimize the amount of time required for analysis.

This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of performance management in AJB Bumiputera 1912. This study uses DEM (Discrepancy Evaluation Method) evaluation method. The components that were evaluated are the component of design, installation, implementation, and outcome. The methods used in this study is a questionnaire on 51 unit leader respondents at the headquarter and regional offices, the 150 employees of the central office, the interview method on 10 respondents, observation and study documentsmethod. The results of this study indicate that there is a gap between the actual conditions (Performance) with the condition that should be happened (Standard) on all four components that were analyzed. In conclusion, it is necessary to do some improvements to reduce the gap so that the actual conditions more closely the conditions that should be happened. The improvements that need to be done are alignment of the performance management design with the needs of company at this time, the need for commitment to change from the top down, implementation of reward and punishment continuously,and the need to support tools and technologies that were integrated, so the individual and team performance increased and imply to organization performance to be a leading position in life insurance industries in Indonesia.
