The article describes the automation of the production forecast calculation method for producing wells. Calculation for each well based on monthly production report data and current residual recoverable reserves. The Arps curve and the Corey function are used to approximate the actual production curves. Comparative analysis of actual data with retro-forecast data showed high accuracy with a short calculation time.

There is presented a calculation method aimed to elevate the informative value of the integral indices of the social and hygienic monitoring for purposes of comparative analysis. The method of rank indices is based on the ranking of monitoring objects on the values ofprimary indices on the base of which there are calculated the integral such indices as, for example, life expectancy. There are presented results of the use of this method for the comparative analysis of mortality rate in WHO Member States for the period of 1990-2011. There were revealed special features of mortality trends which cannot be detected when using only mortality rates or the life expectancy. In particular, for Russia there was shown that, in spite of the downward trend in child and adolescent mortality rate observed in the last decade, the country's world rankings for these indices fail to achieve the level of 1990. This means that the competitiveness of the country, sharply declined in the 90's, was not restored until now. There are described some features of the use of the method of rank indices for the analysis of indices of the environment state, public health and its socio-economic determinants.

The main source of daylight is the Sun. The EarthТs atmosphere scatters its light due to the air, water vapour, ice particles (at high altitudes), dust, various gases, and other contaminants that appear in the air as a result of human activities. This forms a daylight diffuse (scattered) component, which is a data basis for calculation of daylight in buildings. This basis has its own features for a given region. This article shows a calculation of sun-lighting efficiency in Vietnam. We obtained a variation of horizontal daylight illuminance in Hanoi (21.03∞N). Comparing it with the variation of horizontal daylight illuminance in Moscow (55.70∞N), we can see a high level and a distribution uniformity of outdoor illuminance in Vietnam. The maximum levels of diffuse illuminance and total illuminance in Hanoi are 45.2 and 58.52 klx; the maximum levels of diffuse illuminance and total illuminance in Moscow are 28.3 and 53.1 klx. Besides, illuminance levels in winter months are much higher for Hanoi than for Moscow. This can be explained by different latitudes of these cities and by the Sun motion.

Cargo securing on a railway platform, elastic and retention fasteners, longitudinal transport force of inertia, forces in elastic fastenings. Purpose: The paper presents the calculation of the longitudinal transport force of inertia; determines the longitudinal force perceived by the elastic elements of the cargo securing; determines the reactions of retention bars depending on the number of bars and fasteners (nail); calculates the sum of all holding forces; calculates the forces in the elastic fasteners when exposed to longitudinal forces. Research methods: To determine the forces in the cargo securing devices, existing calculation methods are used. Moreover, the formulas of these techniques are presented in a form convenient for calculation. Main results: The paper proves that according to the existing method, the force in all elastic cargo fasteners under the influence of longitudinal forces has the same value, regardless of the different arrangement of the geometric parameters of the fasteners in space. The forces in them are more than 1.6 times higher than the permissible values. The calculations of forces in the elastic fasteners, which are performed by the specified method, are given. The results of the comparative analysis showed that the forces in all wire fasteners, in contrast to the existing calculation method, have different values. However, the strength of the second pair of wire fasteners of both one and the other direction is not ensured - the force in them more than two times exceeds the permissible value (61/24.8≈2.5), which will result in their destruction during the cargo transportation. Conclusions and their significance for the industry: Existing calculation methods do not provide guarantee strength of cargo fasteners. In the future, to calculate the fastening of cargo by shippers in the railway industry, a new calculation procedure should be applied for the allocation and fastening of cargo on the car.

The recommendations about calculation offered in this article extend on the ferroconcrete two-conical piles immersed by cave-in for the bases of buildings and constructions which design is developed by "Highways and Bridges" chair of the Perm national research polytechnical university. Two-conical piles are characterized by the increased resilience to action of forces of a frost heaving in comparison with traditionally applied prismatic piles at the expense of the return orientation of the top cone. The description of a method of calculation of the base in the form of a bush from two-conical piles is provided in frosty water-saturated clay soil from the point of view of its stability against action of forces of a frosty heaving. The comparative analysis of the obtained settlement data with experimental is carried out. The technique of determination of size of a frosty heaving of two-conical piles as a part of base bushes is developed and in number realized by forces of a frosty heaving when modeling soil as linearly -deformable space. The calculation method which basis the condition of equality of the works made by forces of a frosty heaving, and forces interfering a frosty heaving of not loaded pile bases from two-conical piles is is offered. The method allows to project with an accuracy sufficient for practical purposes the bases in water-saturated clay soil.

This paper use the Friuli Siegel formula for calculating the main steam flow. Analyzed the difference between using different stage pressure to calculate the main steam flow and the tested main steam flow. Other stages pressure that using for calculating the main steam flow can be used for comparative analysis.
