The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between high school students' digital addiction levels and their inquiry skills. The sample of the study consists of 319 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade high school students chosen by random sampling. Of these students studying in Sivas province schools of Turkey, two are Anatolian High School, and one is an Anatolian Imam Hatip (Religious) High School. 190 of the students are girls (59.6%), and 129 are boys (40.4%). Data were collected through the "Digital Addiction Scale (DAS)" developed by Dilci (2019) and the "Inquiry Skills Scale (ISS)" developed by Aldan Karademir and Saracaloglu (2013). In analyzing the data, the arithmetic mean and standard deviation values of the scores obtained from the scales were found, and Pearson's correlation analysis and simple linear regression analysis tests were used. The study detected negative significant relationships, albeit low, between the DAS sub-dimensions of deprivation, impulsivity, underperformance, low self-perception, and social isolation and all the sub-dimensions of ISS (i.e. acquiring knowledge, controlling knowledge, and self-confidence). There was also a low negative significant relationship between the overall DAS and ISS scores of the high school students. Finally, digital addiction levels were determined to explain 5% of the variance in the high school students' inquiry skills.

The main aim of this study is to comparatively examine the “Studying and Learning Strategies” used by the students of Science and Anatolian High Schools, which are the general secondary instruction level in the Turkish Educational System, at Adana province example in Turkey. The study is a descriptive study, a relational survey model. The population of the study is 9th and 12th grade students who are studying in Anatolian and Science High Schools in the city center of Adana. This study group of this research is consisted of 393 students in 9th and 12th grades who were studying at Adana Science High School and Seyhan İMKB Anatolian High School in the spring term of the 2019-2020 academic year. As a data collection tool, the “Study and Learning Strategies Scale for High School Students” developed by Kutlu, Yapıcı and Korkmaz (2015), consisting of 46 items and five sub-dimensions, was used. As a result of the study, when the “Study and Learning Strategies” of the students are examined according to school types; It has been determined that there is a significant difference in the sub-dimensions of “Repetition” and “Enjoying Learning”. It has been observed that there is a significant difference between male and female students in “Repetition” and “Self-Confidence” sub-dimensions according to the gender of the students. There is no significant difference between the levels of 9th and 12th grade students studying at Science and Anatolian High Schools according to their grade levels.

The objective of this article was to better understand the relationship between students’ age and socioeconomic level, and its influence on students’ digital uses. We conducted a quantitative study of 401 elementary and high school students in Quebec. Four independent variables were initially selected: two related to age (actual age and education level) and two others related to the socioeconomic environment (school poverty index and parents’ employment status). The dependent variable that represented students’ digital uses was the number of different technologies they used weekly. We conducted correlation tests followed by a linear regression analysis.

Thus, the purpose of this community service is to train the students in understanding presentations appropriately. While the particular objectives are: 1) Improve the knowledge of strategies of writing and presentations in English well; 2) Enrich English vocabulary; 3) Improve writing and speaking skill; 4) Increase self-confidence, and 5) Prepare them to become professional graduates in terms of mastering English. There are thirty students of 12th grade of SMKN 56 North Jakarta participating in this training. The training was conducted within 12 hours, which was divided into three sessions for two days. At each meeting, students were monitored and practiced under the trainers’ guidance. The trainers also showed two examples of good presentations on YouTube. The training techniques are the lecture, discussion, brainstorming, and demonstration / direct practice that train students to understand every step by step in presentation and writing. The results show that students’ self-confidence developed, and vocabulary mastery, writing, and presentation skills increased as well. Out of 30 students, 5 participants delivered a presentation without reading the text. Although the results were not significant, the students had active participation in the discussion and practiced in groups and gave the speech in public. The evaluation result was 38.79 of a 1-4 scale with an excellent category. It is concluded that this training is highly needed and useful for vocational students.

The purpose of this study is to find out how attitudes and interests of students and analyze the relationship between attitudes and student interest in high school physics subjects in Jambi Province. This type of research is quantitative which uses survey research design as a research procedure. This study involved 463 high school students in Jambi Province. The instrument used was a questionnaire with data analysis techniques namely descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the dominant student attitude indicators discussed in this paper are attitude indicators towards good research in physics with a percentage of 58.5% with a total of 271 students. The results of indicators of dominant interest are indicators of learning attention with categories good a percentage of 74.3% with total 344 students. The results of the analysis of the relationship between attitudes and interests of students towards high school physics subjects in Jambi Province showed r value 0.725 and positive. Therefore it is said that the attitudes and interests of high school students in Indonesia in physics subjects are high.
