In this paper, we studied portable blue and red light-emitting-diode (LED) light sources in phototherapy for mild to moderate acne vulgaris to evaluate the efficacy and tolerance of patients. Patients, randomly divided into blue and red groups, received either blue or red LED phototherapy twice a week for four weeks. After complete treatment, the number of lesions reduced by 71.4% in the blue group, in contrast to 19.5% in the red group. No obvious side effects were observed during and one month after the treatment, except for some mild dryness mentioned by several patients.

Acne vulgaris (AV) is an inflammation of pilosebaceous unit especially in young adult. The pathophysiology is the elevation of sebum production, keratinization of abnormal pilocebaseous follicles, and inflammation caused by immune response to Propionibacterium acnes. Therapy combination of oral antibiotics (doxycycline) and physical therapy (blue light) in moderate-severe acne is one option to reduce antibiotic resistance. Doxycycline is a commonly antibiotic used. The effects of photosensitive can increase the penetration of blue light by sebaceous glands. There was a total decrease in sebum and clinical improvement of combination therapy of blue light and doxycycline in seven patients. The combination therapy has been shown to improve its therapeutic effect, but more clinical trials are needed to prove the effectiveness of blue light with doxycycline than without blue light.

Chaos synchronization of delayed quantum dot light emitting diode has been studied theortetically which are coupled via the unidirectional and bidirectional. at synchronization of chaotic, The dynamics is identical with delayed optical feedback for those coupling methods. Depending on the coupling parameters and delay time the system exhibits complete synchronization, . Under proper conditions, the receiver quantum dot light emitting diode can be satisfactorily synchronized with the transmitter quantum dot light emitting diode due to the optical feedback effect.
