This study examines the factors of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) that influence the acceptance of ICT use for English language learning of EFL University Students. This study also addresses the possible obstacles that affect and limit the use of ICT by adding motivation and ICT skills as extended TAM variables. This area of research topic is unexplored in the Indonesian context, especially in higher education institution. An analysis of these factors can assist instructors to understand how students learn using ICT and in providing useful advice to them during the learning process. The quantitative method was applied in this study, which included 303 students' teachers of English Education at a state university in Jambi, Indonesia. The instrument used in collecting the data was an online questionnaire. Data collected were analyzed by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS3 program to analyze the proposed hypotheses formed in order to meet the study objectives. The SEM result indicated that the factors of the technology acceptance model are the main factors affecting the ICT use. The study concluded that the influence of motivation and skills for ICT usage was mediated by three main TAM variables, namely perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and attitudes.

Abstract Background and Purpose - IBM SPSS Statistics is among the most widely used programs for statistical analysis in social sciences. Due to many practical values it is frequently used as a tool for teaching statistical concepts in many social science university programs. In our opinion, motivation to learn and to use SPSS during the studying process plays a significant role in building a positive attitude towards SPSS which influences its usage at the professional level after finishing study. Design/Methodology/Approach - The aim of this paper is the development of the model for analysing the acceptance of the SPSS among university students of social sciences. The model is based on the widely known Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). In addition to the traditional components of the TAM, six external variables were included. The model is tested using the web survey on the university students of social sciences from seven faculties at three Slovenian universities. Results - The evaluation of the questionnaire was performed. Descriptive statistics were calculated. The dependencies among the model components were studied and the significant dependencies were pointed out. Conclusion - The results of the empirical study prove that all external variables considered in the model are relevant, and directly influence both key components of the traditional TAM, ≫Perceived Usefulness≪ and ≫Perceived Ease of Use≪. Therefore, our model is useful to study the adoption and continuous utilization of SPSS among the students of social sciences. The obtained results are useful for educators, and can help them to improve the learning process.

E-learning is a form of education that is increasingly being used in higher education in the developed world. The aim of the study was to evaluating students’ satisfaction of e-Learning. In this research, we apply and use the theory of technology acceptance model (TAM). We employ structural equation modelling (SEM) approach with SmartPLS software to investigate students’ adoption process. Findings indicates that the perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and intention to use e-learning among university students have a positive impact and substantially associated with learning performance and learning satisfaction. The study concludes that university students in Malaysia have positive perceptions towards e-learning and intend to practice it for educational purposes
