Supporting the development of a child with autism is a multi-profile therapeutic work on disturbed areas, especially understanding and linguistic expression used in social communication and development of social contacts. Previous studies show that it is possible to perform some therapy using a robot. This article is a synthesis review of the literature on research with the use of robots in the therapy of children with the diagnosis of early childhood autism. The review includes scientific journals from 2005–2021. Using descriptors: ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders), Social robots, and Robot-based interventions, an analysis of available research in PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science was done. The results showed that a robot seems to be a great tool that encourages contact and involvement in joint activities. The review of the literature indicates the potential value of the use of robots in the therapy of people with autism as a facilitator in social contacts. Robot-Assisted Autism Therapy (RAAT) can encourage child to talk or do exercises. In the second aspect (prompting during a conversation), a robot encourages eye contact and suggests possible answers, e.g., during free conversation with a peer. In the third aspect (teaching, entertainment), the robot could play with autistic children in games supporting the development of joint attention. These types of games stimulate the development of motor skills and orientation in the body schema. In future work, a validation test would be desirable to check whether children with ASD are able to do the same with a real person by learning distrust and cheating the robot.

The purpose of this study was to obtain a picture of the acceptance of parents of children with autism and their role in autism therapy. This research uses a qualitative approach. Characteristics of the study subjects included parents who had children diagnosed with autism. The number of subjects in this study were 4 people. Data collection techniques with interviews as the main method and observation as a supporting method. The interview results showed that overall all four subjects were able to fully accept the condition of their child who was diagnosed with autism. Acceptance is influenced by factors of support from extended families, including financial capacity, religious background, age, and support of experts and the general public. These four subjects are quite involved in handling their children ranging from ensuring the diagnosis of PLA doctors / psychologists, fostering communication with PLA therapists, providing honest information when consulting the development of their children, enriching knowledge, and assisting children when doing therapy.

Children with autism tend to have hyperactivity, children will tend to be difficult to control. This is certainly an issue when children are in vehicles, especially cars. There are some events related to the automobile accident caused hyperactivity of children with autism. When the children in the car tends to move on, even disturb concentration the driver. Not many safety features on the car is intended for children with autism. Research safety equipment as well as therapeutic tools for children with autism that will be done is a  autism car seat. This tool serves as an extra seat that is able to bind to safely and comfortably seat a child with autism to a primary car seat. This tool is also able to provide autism therapy with the principles of deep pressure when used, generating deep pressure with adjustable pressurized balloon. The tool is attached directly to the car seat with a harness, and then the car safety belt is used as the main security of these devices. Design tools for  autism car seat through stages: preparation of product definition and technical specifications  autism car seat , the design of a product concept for  autism car seat, designing products for  autism car seat , as well as preparation of documents for the manufacture of autism car seats

Autism is a neurobiological development disorder experienced by a person from birth or toddlers. Autistic sufferers have difficulty in forming social interaction, communicating, emotional, sensory and motor disturbances as well as slow or abnormal mental development. Therefore, people with autism will be isolated from normal human beings and enter the world of repetitive, activities and obsessive interests. Autism therapy using dolphins that produce ultrasonic waves with a certain frequency can align the function of motor and sensory nerves of patients with autistic. A direct therapy using dolphins requires a special time and a cost is quite expensive for once therapy. This research proposes autism therapy with artificial dolphin ultrasonic waves based on signal characterization issued by dolphins. The main difficulty in this characterization is to eliminate the unwanted signals (noise) from the desired signal when recording the signal issued by the dolphins. Noise filtering (denoising) is done using wavelet transform. This research proposes a model of a dolphin ultrasonic wave characterization using wavelet transformation by determining decomposition and threshold levels to obtain the best signal quality for autism therapy. The effectiveness of the proposed method is measured using the SNR parameter. The results showed that the level of decomposition 5 and hard threshold gave the highest SNR value compared to the others.
