In this study, based on the data through related literature and visual data, three different kinds of Ceramic Techniques of Seljuq’s and their historical developments are examined. Determination of “independent invention” which is often repeated in literature regarding “Enameled ware” (overglaze polychrome-painted ware) and “Underglaze-paint” ornamentation techniques studied through a different viewpoint was examined and correctness of aspects that may rise are argued. In this study where “Underglaze-paint” technique, “Enameled wares” and “Seljuk Whitewares” are used as research objects; it aims to enlighten primarily the formation of the product by mentioned techniques and its historical development. For this aim, relevant techniques are put into the general frame of Islamic Art and examined in such a form that provides a holistic perspective. Later on the study, measurement of the artistic value of solid production and criteria in this measurement are problematized. Accordingly, findings gained through new assessment techniques regarding the evaluation of historical productions are applied to Seljuk ceramic techniques -which is the object of the research- and new classification elements and titles are proposed. Keywords: Seljuk ceramic art, enameled ware and underglaze-paint techniques, Seljuk whitewares

On the basis of the known fact that all air gap main flux density variations are enclosed by permeance slot harmonics, only one component of stray losses in rotor (stator) iron is considered in the new classification, instead of 2 components: rotor (stator) pulsation iron losses, and rotor (stator) surface iron losses. No-load rotor cage (high-frequency) stray losses are usually calculated. No-load stray losses are caused by the existence of space harmonics: the air-gap slot permeance harmonics and the harmonics produced by no-load MMF harmonics. The second result is the proof that the corresponding components of stray losses can be calculated separately for the mentioned kind of harmonics. Determination of the depth of flux penetration and calculations of high frequency iron losses are improved. On the basis of experimental validation, it is proved that the new classification of no-load stray losses and the proposed method for the calculation of the total value is sufficiently accurate.

Abstract A new classification of the subtribe Maxillariinae (Orchidaceae) is proposed. Thirty-seven genera are revised. The Camaridium group is divided into seven genera, Adamanthus, Camaridium, Pseudomaxillaria, Psittacoglossum and three described here: Chaseopsis, Chelyella and Viracocha. Ornithidium s.l. is divided into seven genera: Heterotaxis, Laricorchis,Neo-urbania, Nitidobulbon, Ornithidium, Vazquezella and Aucellia, the latter two described here. 193 new combinations on the species level are validated and the relationships among the genera are briefly discussed. A key to the determination of all genera representing Maxillariinae s. s. is provided.

Determination of principles of clothes shaping using the techniques of decorating batik and patchwork. An overview of literary sources, a comparative analysis of shaping features of usage of batik and patchwork techniques for clothes design, classification of the methods of their application in decoration of clothing, method of system analysis. During research, the specificity of combination of design and manufacturing technology of clothes with the technical execution of decoration by batik and patchwork was analyzed, compositional solutions were found and a sequence of processing of such models was developed, the importance of artistic value of costumes adorned with hand-made techniques. Based on the analysis of peculiarities of decoration using batik and patchwork techniques, principles of their combination with the structural and technological methods of shaping in clothes are substantiated. The algorithm of the sequence of making clothes models, decorated with techniques batik and patchwork, is explored.

Abstract. Introduction: With advances in medicine, our understanding of diseases has deepened and diagnostic criteria have evolved. Currently, the most frequently used diagnostic systems are the ICD (International Classification of Diseases) and the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) to diagnose alcohol-related disorders. Results: In this narrative review, we follow the historical developments in ICD and DSM with their corresponding milestones reflecting the scientific research and medical considerations of their time. The current diagnostic concepts of DSM-5 and ICD-11 and their development are presented. Lastly, we compare these two diagnostic systems and evaluate their practicability in clinical use.

The formation of business strategies of enterprises should be based on a preliminary assessment of their current and future economic opportunities. Such an assessment is to establish the value of the total economic potential of enterprises and its individual varieties. The purpose of this study was to clarify the essence of the economic potential of enterprises, justify the need for its evaluation and selection of its types. The main approaches to interpreting the terms "potential" and "enterprise potential" are identified. These include resource, result, resource-result, resource-target, and result-target concepts. It is established that the potential of any object, including the enterprise, can be interpreted as a set of its external functional properties, which this object shows or can show in a certain state of the environment in which it is located. Accordingly, the assessment of the potential of an object should be based on the identification and determination of its external properties, taking into account the environment in which the object is located. The main situations in which there is a need for information about certain components of the economic potential of the enterprise are identified, and the types of this potential and the consumers of the information about their level, corresponding to these situations, are determined. In particular, such situations include management of production and sales, management of financial and economic results of the enterprise, management of enterprise development, assessment of the company's need for various types of resources, assessment of enterprise value, assessment of current and future impact of the enterprise on the economy of the country (region), etc. The features of classification of types of enterprise potential existing in the scientific literature are supplemented by the following ones: by the main types of economic activity, by the dynamics of changes in the economic and production system of the enterprise, by consequences for the subject of enterprise potential assessment, by the stages of economic activity, enterprise potential, etc. The obtained results make it possible to improve the understanding of the complex patterns that underlie the formation of the economic potential of enterprises.

The concept of failed state came to the fore with the end of the Cold War, the collapse of the USSR and the disintegration of Yugoslavia. Political violence is central in these discussions on the definition of the concept or the determination of its dimensions (indicators). Specifically, the level of political violence, the type of political violence and intensity of political violence has been broached in the literature. An effective classification of political violence can lead us to a better understanding of state failure phenomenon. By using Tilly’s classification of collective violence which is based on extent of coordination among violent actors and salience of short-run damage, the role played by political violence in state failure can be understood clearly. In order to do this, two recent cases, Iraq and Syria will be examined.
