Waste management issues is the primary concern of the Kendari City Government, considering to become a liveable city namely the sustainable development of Kendari City. This study discusses the challenges of implementing a waste management policy based sustainable development in Kendari City. One of the goals of sustainable development on the 2030 agenda is to reduce the impact of the urban environment with the percentage of municipal reliable waste handling indicators. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of waste management policies using the concept of policy implementation by Edwards III and to link it to the concept of sustainable development and the 2030 agenda of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This study used a qualitative method, in which data was collected through interviews and documentation, the findings in this study that the implementation of waste management policies in Kendari City was quite excellent in the aspects of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. However, various challenges were also present in every aspect of policy implementation. Overall, the implementation of waste management policies also takes into account sustainable development in economic, social and environmental aspects and was by efforts to achieve SDGs Goal 11, where 73.30 per cent of urban waste has been handled.

Subject. This article deals with the issues of functioning of the region as a system. Objectives. The article aims to identify the problems of the region's functioning as a system, develop methodological tools to monitor the sustainable development of the Siberian Federal District territories, and determine the the impact of socio-economic and environmental factors on the sustainable development of the region as a whole. Methods. For the study, I used the methods of theoretical, statistical, and empirical analyses taking into account an integrated approach. Results. The article reveals the impact of some individual components of regional development on the sustainability of the territorial system as a whole. Relevance. The results of the study can be used to analyze the sustainability of regions' development.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) into International School Curriculum, and to adapt Education for Sustainable Development using Ajzen’s theory of planned behaviour, Roger’s diffusion of innovation theory and Stern’s value belief norm (VBN) theory to nurture a sustainable society. The study narrowed five development goals; Zero Hunger (SDG 2), Clean Water and Sanitation (SDG 6), Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11), Climate Change (SDG 13) and Life on Land (SDG 15) to evaluate the impact towards international school’s curriculum in order to nurture a sustainable society. Data was collected from 105 teachers from 5149 full time teachers in International Schools in Malaysia. The questionnaire focusses on indicators from Sustainable Development Goals and funnelled down to understand whether these indicators will impact the objective of these research, which is to nurture a sustainable society through integrating SDGs in International School Curriculum. The data was analyzed through SPSS application where correlation test were conducted and produce nonparametric correlation results in p<0.001 which indicate a very high significant of relationship between SDGs and sustainable society.

Ensuring the sustainable development of agroecosystems requires research into the justification of the impact of environmental factors on the formation of territorial agroecosystems and identifies ways to take them into account in order to justify management decisions and ensure environmental safety. The main goal of the research within the article is to identify the most significant environmental factors in predicting the formation of agroecosystems. Provisions are devoted to the study of the laws governing the functioning of agroecosystems in order to increase their stability. The methods of comparative analysis, generalization, abstraction, logical analysis are applied. A number of provisions are formulated regarding ways to account for the influence of factors on the formation of key elements of agroecosystems.

The article examines the impact of internal and external risks on the stability of the financial system of the Altai Territory. Classification of internal and external risks of decline, affecting the sustainable development of the financial system, is presented. A risk management strategy is proposed that will allow monitoring of risks, thereby these measures will help reduce the loss of financial stability and ensure the long-term development of the economy of the region.
