The coronavirus (CoV) belongs to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) species that lead to infection, causing illness, starting from common cold to some serious sickness. Finally, on 11 March 2020, the WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced the outbreak as a pandemic. As the fear and ambiguity rose among companies and firms, the profit rate seemed to be lower due to the Covid-19 global impact, say nearly US$6 trillion in wealth from 24th to 28 February 2020 of the stock market has been wiped out. There was a great decrease in value over the S&P index, which abolished over $5 trillion in the same week. However, the largest ten companies of S&P faced a loss of $1.4 trillion. The investors make an analytical prediction that firms' profits may drop in response to the impact of coronavirus. Our prime focus is on the importance of digital business practices and how different sectors have been affected in terms of economic loss during this pandemic outbreak in this paper.

In the context of the development of new lightweight materials, Al-alloyed cast irons have a great potential for reducing the weight of the different part of the vehicles in the transport industry. The correlation of the amount of Al and its effect in the microstructure of cast irons is not completely well established as it is affected by many factors such as chemical composition, cooling rate, etc. In this work, four novel lightweight cast irons were developed with different amounts of Al (from 0 wt. % to 15 wt. %). The alloys were manufactured by an easily scalable and affordable gravity casting process in an induction furnace, and casted in a resin-bonded sand mold. The microstructural evolution as a function of increasing Al content by different microstructural characterization techniques was studied. The hardness of the cast irons was measured by the Vickers indentation test and correlated with the previously characterized microstructures. In general, the microstructural evolution shows that the perlite content decrease with the increment of wt. % of Al. The opposite occurs with the ferrite content. In the case of graphite, a slight increment occurs with 2 wt. % of Al, but a great decrease occurs until 15 wt. % of Al. The addition of Al promotes the stabilization of ferrite in the studied alloys. The hardness obtained varied from 235 HV and 363 HV in function of the Al content. The addition of Al increases the hardness of the studied cast irons, but not gradually. The alloy with the highest hardness is the alloy containing 7 wt. % Al, which is correlated with the formation of kappa-carbides and finer perlite.

Fluorinated graphene (FGi) is easy to agglomerate, after which it turns into a curly and wavy shape, which results in a great decrease in the properties of the resultant composite materials and coatings. In this study, fluorinated graphene oxide (FGO) modified with p-phenylenediamine (PPD) was prepared, but with a view to avoid its agglomeration and retain a sheet-like structure. Through the reaction between PPD and the epoxy groups of FGO, the modified FGO with an amino group (N-PGO) had a larger interlayer d-spacing than FGO. The stability of N-PGO was also improved, and nitrogen, fluorine, oxygen, and carbon were evenly distributed in the N-PGO sheets. All the results indicate that PPD can act as an effective spacer to separate graphene sheets for good anti-agglomeration properties. This method produced modified graphene with fluorine, amino, and carbonyl groups. It shows potential in introducing N-PGO as a reactive modifier in composite materials and coatings for a variety of industrial applications including waterborne epoxy materials.

Aim of study: The main aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of overliming with dolomitic lime on the topsoil and grapevine macro-nutritional levels (both petiole and grape tissues), as well as on berry weight and must quality properties in grapevines growing on an acid soil. Area of study: The study was carried out in the viticultural region of El Bierzo (Spain), one of the main wine protected designation of origin in the northwest of Spain. Material and methods: The effects of overliming were studied in soil parameters, petiole and grape tissues, as well as in must quality during three years (2014-2016). Data analysis was performed using factorial ANOVA (both parametric and non-parametric tests have been used). Main results: The results found on the soil levels of magnesium and phosphorus were mirrored by those shown in petiole and grape tissues. Data suggest that insufficient Mg supply in vineyard acid soils could lead to a lower P vascular movement in vines. Additionally, our findings suggest that a great decrease of K levels in vine tissues as a consequence of overliming, could lead to changes in harvest quality. Research highlights: Overliming with dolomitic limestone in large quantities decreased soil exchangeable K, as well as improved supply of exchangeable Mg and available P. Additionally Mg and P levels in both petiole and grape tissues were significantly affected by overliming.

Objective: To study the conservation status of the tropical rainforest in the “Cañón del Usumacinta” Flora and Fauna Protection Area in Mexico, through an analysis of the change in land use and vegetation (1997, 2009 and 2016). Design/Methodology/Approach: Vegetation and land use shapefiles at 1:250,000 scale (national continuum) corresponding to 1997 (series I), 2009 (series IV), and 2016 (series VI) were downloaded. Finally, a spatial analysis was generated with calculation of exchange rates, using the Land Change Modeler between 1997-2009 and 2009-2016. Results: During 1997-2009, the tropical rainforest occupied 31.2% and the greatest impact of the period seen was a change rate of 7.4%. Subsequently, between 2009 and 2016 there was a great decrease in the land use change rate in the forest (0.8%), due to its decree as a federal Protected Area in 2008, as well as natural regeneration and the promotion of ecological restoration programs. Study Limitations/Implications: Absence of geographic variables to analyze factors driving change in land use. Conclusions: It is essential to promote the sustainable management of the Usumacinta Canyon based on what is established in the land use planning program and the management plan, and to redouble efforts to implement actions for restoring ecosystem services and the continuous monitoring of change in land use.

Objectives The study was performed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of chronotherapy of hypertension with different medications monotherapy or a combination compared with traditional regimens Methods Three databases including PubMed, EMBASE and the Cochrane Library were searched, from the inception of each database to 10 April 2020. The Review Manager 5.4 was adopted for meta-analyses and subgroup analyses. The blood pressure delta (Δ) was used as mean of differences (MD) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs), and the estimated effect for events estimates the 95% CIs for frequency of events. The adults with essential hypertension were treated with chronotherapy and traditional regimens. Results Twenty-eight RCTs, recruiting 1865 patients in bedtime/evening dosing and 1867 in awakening/morning dosing, were enrolled in this quantitative review. Meta-analysis showed no significant differences for overall drug-related AEs (RR=0.81, P=0.17; I2=41%), but an obvious reduction of risk for overall withdrawals (RR=0.52, P=0.005; I2=0.0%) with bedtime dosing. No statistically significant differences were noted for clinic BP and diurnal BP, but 24-hour (48-hour) BP, nocturnal BP, morning BP, and non-dippers (%) showed obvious reductions, statistically. By class, there existed different efficacy between 2 administrations, with great decrease in nocturnal BP control and changes in circadian rhythm with RAAS blockers monotherapy, but an all-day control of BP for CCBs and diuretics. With regard to a combination, no significant differences in BP management were detected and the data about beta-receptor blockers were limited. Conclusions The safety and efficacy of chronotherapy in antihypertensive drugs might be based on the classes.

Problem of obtaining fine powders of strontium hexa-ferrite is actual because of its wide applications. The paper provides the results of studies of particle size distribution and structural characteristic changes of strontium hexa-ferrite powder (SrFe12O19) during milling in impact mill and after its consequent annealing. Mechanical processing of coarse particulate system was carried out in the mill for 120 minutes without electromagnetic effect and with creation of magneto fluidized bed, formed by perpendicular constant and alternating magnetic field with induction gradient of 210 mT/m, providing reciprocating motion of particles and aggregates with sizes of 3 – 4 mm. It was shown that milling of coarse strontium hexa-ferrite with average particle size 1558.5 μm and the most possible size 1500 μm in magneto fluidized bed allowed to intensify milling process and to provide a significant increase of powder particle sizes uniformity. It was found out, that milling in magneto fluidized bed leads to a great decrease of coherent scattering regions sizes and an increase of lattice micro-deformations and relative dislocation density. Consequent annealing of the powder for 2 hours at 850°C refined structural characteristics significantly. The carried out research allows to choose the optimal milling duration for solution of practical problems of powder metallurgy.
